CHAPTER 8: Killing Special Soul Beast

Even though the damage dealt by Jay was negligible, Dark Rock Beast woke up from his deep slumber.

"Rawwwrrr" It was enraged when abruptly awoken by human. The entire cave shook as it was stood. With giant strides, it walked towards Jay.

Not giving the soul beast any chance, Jay took out an Explosive Fruit and tossed it.

Speed was always a Rock type beast soul monster weakness. There was no exception to special soul beast. Dark Rock Beast only had a larger size, stronger attack, skilled attack and defense. Under the effect of explosive Fruit he was still and taking damage every seconds.

Fatigue State, a period of weakness that appeared after a Boss used a powerful skill. With this state the soul monster in, Jay could see to the hope to kill the Dark Rock Beast.

After a series of attacks

With sword attack and fruit explosion, Jay take away 15% of the Dark Rock Beast.

The subsequent battle was filled with patient and persistence. Jay repeatedly attack to make up more damage. Every minute, he would await the Dark Rock Beast special skill and Jay take the chance to attack after a weaken period.

Time passed bit by bit.

Jay continue to circle and madly attack with sword to slowly reduce it's HP.

16%, 14%, 10%, 6%,...

Faster! Faster! Faster!

Jay eyes became cold eagered to finish the soul monster quickly with sword attack and fruit explosive.

As the HP of Dark Rock Beast was about to deplete, A cold human like grin appeared to soul beast us he run and ready to smashed his body to Jay.

Jay saw it, and then he move side way to evade it and ready himself to attack the soul monster.

"Die".

Dark Rock Beast final HP was taken away.

Boom! the soul monster turned into a pile of rubble.

System: [ Dark Rock Beast] (Special) killed.

Level difference of 4, obtained 950 EXP.

Jay's experience bar abruptly rose by 27% pushing him in a big step closer towards Lever 3.

After killing the soul monster, Jay searched around the pile of rubble rocks. The drops of Special were really good. He obtained a skill book [ Thunder Slash], 16 coppers and a equipment.

"As expected of special rock beast its dropped a piece of equipment. I should sell it for my future plans and don't need any way, definitely sell it for high price." Jay looked at the equipment.

The necklace could be considered high quality with such attributes when equipped, the necklace would increase defense.

The skill book was a good one as well. " It actually gave out rare skill book, Thunder Slash, This skill is good for me. Nice shot." Jay was very happy with this skill his attack will amplified.
