Lancelot did not know what effect Scarlett Fox's beast Soul has but he haves a feeling that the best soul effect might be hard to resist, so he prepared himself for the worst-case scenario.

Meanwhile, Scarlett Fox smiled to herself as a genius thought flashed into her mind.

With a grin on her beautiful and seductive face, she muttered in a whisper "You might be strong physically, but am sure that you are physiologically and emotionally down, you must be very heart heartbroken right now, and I would make sure to use this advantage to the fullest. Your emotions would be your downfall"

Lancelot saw her mutter barely audible words, but he could not be bothered to care.

Without wasting any time, Leo manifested and combined with all his beast soul Phantom, in preparation for the worst.

He had a bad premonition in his heart, that Scarlett Fox might end up being more dangerous than Void.

Seeing him combine with all of his phantoms, Scarlett Fox grinned even wider, she couldn't help but mutter "Useless"

Lancelot heard her and was confused, but apart from this preparation, he couldn't think of anything else.

But then his eyes widened in realization, he then shouted out in response to her words "There's no way you are one of those Soul affinity Soulers"

Scarlet Fox was about to combine with her phantom when she heard his words, but she neither confirmed nor denied his words. She just smiled deviously at him with no intention of giving him an answer.

She simply manifested and combined with her beast soul phantom. 'Nine-Tailed Fox Illusion Beast Soul! ... Phantom Manifest and Combine!!! '

Meanwhile, Lancelot, upon seeing that Scarlett Fox was not responding felt the premonition in his heart growing even stronger.

He could not help but dread the fact that she is a Souler with a best Soul with soul affinity.

Just like Space affinity beast Souls, Soul affinity beast souls are also rare, but unlike the former, Soul affinity beast souls are rarer and also more deadly.

Only a person with a Soul affinity beast Soul can kill a Souler who is of higher rank than them.

But it's very hard, a person of higher Souler rank is much faster and more powerful as far as the person of higher rank act quickly, it would be easy to kill the Soul affinity Souler.

No matter how powerful a person is, they can't easily defeat a person of higher rank, it's very very rare to see a 4-Star Souler being defeated by a 2, 3, or 1-Star Souler, but it can be possible if some few factors are considered.

When a person of higher rank is defeated by a person of lower rank, it's either that the person of lower rank is more skilled in skill and techniques than the person of a higher realm.

It's also likely that the person of higher rank, had an intense fight recently and has finished his or her essence, making him or her weak and defenseless with no way to defend themselves.

But it would still be hard for a lower rank Souler to defeat a higher rank shoulder even if the higher rank Souler's Soul energy is finished because it's possible for the higher rank Souler to subdue the lower rank Souler with physical strength alone.

So it's very rare to see a person of lower rank defeating a person of higher rank.

Meanwhile, Lancelot rushed at full speed to meet her, he wanted to finish her quickly because he has a bad feeling about her beast soul.

But then he started hearing footsteps.

He listened carefully and attentively.

One footstep sounded like that of a man while the other footsteps sounded like that of a woman.

The woman was crying and sobbing.

"Ooh my son, why does the world have to end today... Husband, please do something"

The man was irritated, she can't let him think properly.

He took his futuristic-looking phone from his suit pocket. He dialed someone. "Come upstairs right now, our house has almost been breached we need to get out right now"

It was unknown whether the receiver answered, but the man cut the call before putting it back in his pocket.

After waiting for a while, the person, he called still did not come up.

The man tried calling again, a sense of urgency in his action.

But his call did not go through.

With no other option. He said to the still sobbing woman. "Take the boy, we are getting outta here"

The woman was surprisingly quick to act, she took Lancelot who was in the boy's body before looking at the man with a worried expression on her face. "Dave do you think they are dead fighting those weird beasts!?"

Hearing the woman's words Lancelot nodded in understanding 'Did I just got transmigrated to the past, at the beginning of the apocalypse!? '

'Are they my real parents!?'

He had never seen his parent but was trained from childhood by one of the Top powerhouses of that time.

He was never able to see his parent, but those powerhouses that trained him from childhood took him as their own and did not tell him that they were not his parent, until he came of age.

So when Lancelot heard the woman's words, he was sure that these two is going to survive, because they were meant to survive.

He had not known yet that he was in Scarlett fox illusion which uses one memory to severely torture them and play with their emotions.

If he knew of this, he would have been able to easily shatter this illusion, he was two whole realms above Scarlett Fox after all.

but he has already accepted illusion as reality so the illusion would be very hard for him to break through.
