"Looks like he's awake," Fire Dragon King said, relieved.

The Ice Dragon King silently rolled his eyes, feeling sorry for his not-so-bright old friend.

Since their first encounter, the Ice Dragon King knew that confronting the Fire Dragon King with aggression was the easiest strategy.

Among the provocative methods he had used, the idiot Fire Dragon King had always fallen for them without fail. So, the Ice Dragon King devised a little trick, and sure enough, his old buddy followed along.

"We have used all the remaining power in your body to repair it, even addressing the hidden wounds," the Ice Dragon King said lightly, continuing, "And I've left you some insignificant little gifts."

The Fire Dragon King didn't refute the Ice Dragon King's words. Instead, he added slowly, "Our dragon spirit is shattered, and what remains here is just a trace of our former selves."

"So, if you have any questions, ask quickly."

For the first time, the Ice and Fire Dragon King spoke in unison. Lu Yuan, with slightly drooping eyelids, asked the question he most desired an answer to, "Why did you help me?"

Realizing this question was too general, Lu Yuan added, "I believe in a truth: if you want to receive, you should give first. I never believed that good fortune would simply fall into my lap, but when it actually did, I couldn't help but feel uneasy. So, I hope the two Dragon Kings can provide me with a reasonable explanation."

A glimmer of appreciation flashed in Lu Yuan's eyes. For the first time, the Ice Dragon King felt a tinge of envy towards the human race. The age of the human before him was equivalent to the average age of young dragons. The average intelligence of young dragons was difficult to define.

"From your blood, I sense the power of the Emerald Dragon King and the Time Dragon King," the Ice Dragon King stated coldly, with an expressionless face. "Instead of waiting for certain death, it is better to trust their judgment."

Although the Ice Dragon King realized he had found the wrong heir after entering, the colorful aura surrounding the human boy reassured him that he wasn't too far off the mark.

While this human wasn't the chosen successor of the Emerald Dragon King and the Time Dragon King, he had gained favor from the Three-Eyed Golden Lion, making him someone who had earned recognition from the beast race.

That was enough to avoid a major enemy.

Though the Ice Dragon King was inherently inclined towards the dragon race, he knew that if the beasts were oppressed by the human race, the dragon race wouldn't fare much better.

Unfortunately, the Dragon God was no longer present, but the Ice Dragon King kept these thoughts to himself. Voicing them would only increase embarrassment. It was better to leave the matter to the Emerald Dragon King and the Time Dragon King, focusing on the best impression.

After all, there were likely very few Dragon Kings still alive.

Listening to the unfamiliar names, Lu Yuan's face was filled with question marks. Who were the Emerald Dragon King and the Time Dragon King? However, if the Time Dragon King represented time, then the Emerald Dragon King likely represented space. In an instant, Lu Yuan grasped the general idea.

Lu Yuan's gaze became steady as he nodded slowly. The Ice Dragon King and Fire Dragon King wore gratified smiles, their figures exploding into pieces and quickly being engulfed by the white space.

At the bottom of the lake, the boy lay silently amidst the extremely cold spring and the extremely hot spring. A faint red color gathered on his right arm, while a pale blue hue gathered on his left arm. Powerful fluctuations emanated from these two arms, and streams of flame red and ice blue blood emerged from nowhere, rushing into the boy's body with extreme heat and coldness.

Boom!
