I groaned as I slowly opened my eyes, instantly slamming them shut. Because of how bright the lights were. I quickly ask Ned "turn off lights" but from the looks of it he didn't understand as I heard him pass before saying "What? Pete speak up man" he jokes before pausing. I instantly hear him jump up and run to where I am. He instantly started throwing questions at me. "What happened? Are you okay? How'd you get BOTH stabbed and shot? Does it still hurt? Did the person get caught??" I paused "what…? Also please turn off the lights or turn it down…" I hear him shuffle before I hear the light switch turn off. I slowly open my eyes. And adjust I try to get up but Ned stops me and helps me get up so I don't injure myself more.

I groan and say "what happened?" "YOU TELL ME! You appeared at my window last night with not only a gunshot wound but ALSO a stab wound." I paused attempting to remember last night. I remembered bits of what happened. Like swinging around town stopping a burglary. Getting shot, stabbed and then texting a wrong number. My eyes widened as Ned stared at me I decided to answer his questions then check my phone. "Uhhh okay so I was on patrol as usual," Ned nods so I continue to explain what happened he sighed "okay but are you okay? Does it still hurt? Do you know if the person get caught?" I paused taking in the questions

"Yes I'm okay, it kinda hurts and I'm pretty sure the robbers got caught." I hummed forgetting about the phone number.

I closed my eyes and thought about everything before I remembered… MY PHONE. "NED!" He jumped in surprise "uh yeah?" "Pass me my phone please!" He nodded confused but either way he handed me the phone. I quickly put in my password, May's birthday , before looking for my new contact instantly smiling once I saw it. I moved a bit and patted the area next to me. Ned took the hint and sat down next to me. He stared in confusion at my phone as he read through all the messages.

I paused as notifications rang and I got the rest of the messages

Hello??? Kid??

Are you okay?

Are you alive?

Need an ambulance?

I can and WILL find your location if you don't respond soon.

Me and Ned look at each other instantly and start panicking. He runs around checking his electronics firewalls (is that what it's called??) Also looking at my phones I finally react and start typing

No answer. I look at Ned and he pauses before turning to me "okay so ummm the person from your phone wasn't joking. They actually hacked into your phone. So imma like try and help you out by fixing a few small but important errors." I groan but nod nonetheless bringing my hands to my face and dragging them down for what seemed to be the 100th time. Okay I know I'm exaggerating but like I'm tired, I'm in pain and I'm worried for mine and everyone's safety.

Ned notices this and pats my back "get some rest okay?" I nodded and slowly lay down. At some point I feel drowsy and feel myself slowly submitting to my body's needs. Next thing I know I'm asleep.

Hello! So sorry for the wait! I've been busy this week and honestly I've been "dogsitting" for my neighbor and I feel so bad for the pup. She's covered in knots and honestly I'm stressed about that. So I was busy caring for 2 pups (mine + neighbors dog) I know this is random but I wanted to ask for advice.

Aside from that:

Remember to stay hydrated try not to skip meals and remember someone will always miss you <333< p>
