Solo Levelling: Perception

World: - Solo leveling Main heroine: - Sung Jinah Harem: - No **** A guy died and was granted skills and some mission to get reborn in the world where resides his fictional love and so he jumped without hesitation. He was trained to hone his skills and was left in the world of dungeons and monsters where death was as common as a daily sale. Yet, the boy found a way to live his leisurely life with his girl and see this world burn for all it could. ***** A/N: - This is a chill story and I would upload as much time as I get. No promises. There would be centric romance and would only turn harem if I get enough response. Skills would be cliche since I am not a true weeb but know my shit to write some decent fiction. English isn't my first language so expect some mistakes and if you want to criticize, then please make it worth checking. If I get enough responses, I would do a poll for harem members but no Cha Hae-In tho. Sung Jin Woo would die single that way.

Chapter 67- Consequences

Haru was indeed tired after utilizing two of his prominent skills at the same time while maintaining a cautious stance...but he never expected himself to fall unconscious out of nowhere.

He had already heard from Tatsuya, that using Elemental Sight would occupy most of the space in Haru's mind, and with that, the knowledge of the infinity...indeed quite a heavy toll.

'But why am I here all of a sudden?' Seeing the endless void expand across the plains and sky, Haru couldn't help muttering under his breath with his mind thrown into turmoil.

It was the same feeling he experienced when he died for the first time and got to meet the Goddess. At the beginning of his second life.

'Did I die again..." Despite how casual he seemed, Haru was shaken up by the thought of leaving Jinah behind...he had so many dreams and plans he wanted to fulfill in which Jinah had a vital role.

[Don't panic my child. I am aware, that what has transpired until now must have shaken you, but I request that you remain calm and hear what I desire to relay.]

The comforting, familiar voice that Haru could distinguish amidst a sea of thousands echoed through the vast void. Soon, a silhouette materialized before his eyes.

The same golden-cladded formless image which one could not discern whether it was a man, woman, or even a person at all. Although accustomed to seeing her like that, Haru still felt strange why she never showed her true form to him.

Haru got up from the shapeless seat he was acquiring, before bowing slightly, "Happy to see you again."

[...you still cannot find in your heart to call me mother *sigh*]

Haru found his brow twitching but he soon collected himself and strengthened his back before looking at the Deity.

"You called me here meant something serious has happened already because of my intervention?"

Haru frowned, reflecting on the tangled web he had woven. He had diverged drastically from the original plot, making the situation irredeemable. While he didn't regret most of his choices, he did feel a twinge of guilt about Jin-Woo's stunted growth. Would he ever become the powerful protagonist he was meant to be? Only time would tell.

[Indeed...but the matter has diverged to the route where the Rulers would surely intervene and upon heavy loss...they might end up using the Cup of Reincarnation sooner than they meant to.]

A chill ran down his spine hearing the consequences of his action. Although he didn't regret killing those bastards, he didn't want to end up forgetting everything in the end because of being hasty.

An uncomfortable silence descended on the endless space before Haru parted his lips and asked the first thing that came to his mind, "Is it because I prematurely killed almost every monarch?"

If the answer was yes, then what the Rulers would have any issues with it? They wanted the war to come to an end somehow and Haru was just creating a good ending sooner rather than later.

Shouldn't they reward him for it?

[The forces of those monarchs remain in the gaps of cross-dimensions and without their Sovereign, they would end up just tearing that barricade that separates them from Earth...]

"....and that would lead to a massive war." Haru finished the words the Goddes was probably about to say.

[Indeed.]

He fell back in his seat upon hearing that.

Haru believed he had meticulously weighed the advantages and disadvantages of eradicating the monarchs from existence. He had also strategized how to confront the remaining two adversarial monarchs when the moment arrived.

Yet...

"Haah....the threads of fate are so messed up."

After a momentary silence and collecting himself, Haru spoke in a composed manner, "Can I ask, whether you have any suggestions to help me solve this one? I can handle thousands of monsters on my own but making everyone believe my word before the mayhem breaks out and then evacuating the cities would take time...I believe massive damage would already be inflicted before I could neutralize everything."

Rulers were on the side of life and if Haru failed to prevent a massacre and chaos, then surely they would revert the time to the very start.

Haru was resolute in preventing that outcome, regardless of the cost. Given that he was summoned by the Goddess, he was confident she had already devised a means to assist him.

'I have already taken a lot from her...is this the general behavior of a worshipper toward a god?'

Haru's monologue was broken when the congregation of golden light spoke in her usual tone,

[There is a way to not allow them to use the Cup of Reincarnation.]

She didn't say anything about helping the people, Haru noted.

After a short pause, the lady continued,

[Some minor populace are bound to be sacrificed but upon my interference, all the dimensional gap wouldn't be torn at once. That would allow my child to have the time to reach where it's necessary and keep his peaceful life ongoing.]

'Peaceful eh...' Haru couldn't help dryly chuckling at that but he couldn't blame her for that since he himself chose that world to live.

After some contemplation, Haru asked in an uncertain tone, "So...you will not allow the armies to appear at once but in sequence...hmm, that surely would allow me to minimize the damage."

After the first attack from the dimensional beast, Haru's words would be valued so he would wait before giving any hints and warning.

Surely he would need to expand his army as soon as he could and also push Jin-Woo to attain black heart sooner rather than later, but that much was in Haru's spectrum of reach.

He got up from his seat before once again bowing down, but this time, in gratitude.

"Thank you for helping me again. Truly, I couldn't be any more grateful than I already am of you."

[...tch, still he didn't regard me as his mother...]

Haru would pretend he never heard that, rather he was more interested in asking something which had been clawing the back of his mind for a while.

"...is there really no way of preventing the effects of Cup of Reincarnation from erasing my memories."

A long silence ensued in the void when Haru voiced his concern. He was about to apologize for his rude behavior when the Deity spoke up, surprising Haru with her words.

[Actually, there is one....]

A/N:- Create a harem! Muhahaha.

Okay so, I have decided on the two other worlds I would send Haru to. As I have mentioned earlier, I am not a true weeb so my knowledge of anime isn't that wide.

I would be repeating worlds at different timelines but since it would be only for a couple of chapters, I ask you guys to bear them with me~
