Solo Levelling: Perception

World: - Solo leveling Main heroine: - Sung Jinah Harem: - No **** A guy died and was granted skills and some mission to get reborn in the world where resides his fictional love and so he jumped without hesitation. He was trained to hone his skills and was left in the world of dungeons and monsters where death was as common as a daily sale. Yet, the boy found a way to live his leisurely life with his girl and see this world burn for all it could. ***** A/N: - This is a chill story and I would upload as much time as I get. No promises. There would be centric romance and would only turn harem if I get enough response. Skills would be cliche since I am not a true weeb but know my shit to write some decent fiction. English isn't my first language so expect some mistakes and if you want to criticize, then please make it worth checking. If I get enough responses, I would do a poll for harem members but no Cha Hae-In tho. Sung Jin Woo would die single that way.

Chapter 63- Farewell?

By now the whole world was aware of the incident that occurred back at the island. No one was able to hear the details of what happened back on Jeju-do between the elf-looking creature and hunters but it seems some kind of deal has been finalized.

It wasn't difficult to deduce what the monster would be offering from his side of the deal. S-rank hunter Sung Jin-Woo's abducted sister, Sung Jinah.

Korea was in turmoil while the other nations remained either perplexed or amused.

Regardless, the calamity has befallen Korea primarily so there was no point concerning themselves with what other countries think or comment on this incident.

"What should be our next step, Chairman?" Inside the office of the Korean hunter bureau sat only selected individuals along with a caged elf.

The monarch of Frost was currently handcuffed and legs locked with an advanced technological coil that far surpassed the old-fashioned key cuffs. His mouth was also blocked with an oxygen mask-like lock which wouldn't allow the elf to open his mouth.

(A/N:- Haru used his skill 'Regrowth')

Truth be told the monarch would have easily broken through these locks if not for a certain someone bestowing force upon the monarch, rendering the said being motionless.

['He's someone to be slaughtered as soon as possible...'] The Monarch of Frost decided that the Anomaly was something to get rid of along with the vessel of the Shadow Monarch.

Other than the inhumane who was kept standing near the entrance, there was Jin-Woo along with Haru and from the association, the chairman and the chief of surveillance Woo Jin-Chul—standing behind the old man.

"It's not something I could answer, Jin-Chul." Chairman's calm voice didn't go well with the situation they were in but Woo Jin-Chul didn't say anything about it.

"Before you two leave, is there anything the Association can assist you with?"(Go Gun-Hee)

Hearing the query Jin-Woo nodded his head hesitantly.

"Some high-ranking protection for my family at the time when we would be away." Jin-Woo had no idea how but his shadows were rendered useless under the aura of these monsters called Monarchs.

Jin-Woo didn't have any idea what would happen after they went with the Elf but if anything, he didn't want his parents to get shadowed under the shade of danger once again. And to ensure that, he didn't have any connection better than the Association.

"Consider it done, Hunter Jin-Woo. For the things you have done for us...for this nation, this is something I could do the least in return." Go Gun-Hee had already assigned some of his best officers for this duty to keep Jin-Woo's family safe. However, now that Jin-Woo had personally requested it, the old man was considering requesting the aid of Hunter Guild and appointing his most trustable personnel, Woo Jin-Chul as the security chief of the Sung family for the time being.

Jin-Woo nodded in appreciation before Gun-Hee turned his head toward the other hunter currently occupying the single sofa with his head hung low and no movements arriving from his direction whatsoever.

Go Gun-Hee was stressed about Haru's current mental status but he didn't point it out and asked the same question.

"Hunter Nanase, is there anything I can do for you while you are away?"

There was a brief silence that ensued in the room after the chairman finished speaking his proposal. There was still no reaction from Haru. Realizing such, Jin-Woo brought his hand over Haru's shoulder which seemed to have pulled him out of his daze.

"Are you okay?"

"Ah yeah...and no, Chairman. You don't need to go out of your way to help me."

The chairman, albeit hesitant, didn't pry into the matter much before he nodded.

Go Gun-Hee was about to ask the two their course of action from hereon when suddenly Haru raised his voice, addressing the Chairman as the source of his concern.

"Are you alright, Chairman? Your body would collapse sooner than later in that way."

The chairman's eyes widened after hearing that. Jin-Woo looked confused whereas Jin-Chul tensed.

The head of the surveillance was about to ask what Haru meant by those words when a golden glow began emitting out of the chairman all of a sudden.

"You mean this?" Haru nodded silently, already aware of how the consciousness of Brilliant Light was growing restless and trying to take over the chairman because of the Monarch's presence.

However, the chairman remained calm as the golden glow began to fade soon after.

"I can handle this much, Hunter Nanase. Thank you for your concern."

Haruka nodded. He had the motive to help the chairman but not right now. There would be numerous questions and maybe confrontation with the rulers and currently, Haru had no such time to waste on needless banter.

All things told and heard, the two hunters exited the office.

Unlike usual, Jin-Woo could feel the air of tension surrounding Haru which was making most of the officials coming across them, stumble in fret and look at them in trepidation. It didn't help that there was a giant elf being led by the two.

It wasn't that Jin-Woo wasn't anxious about Jinah's whereabouts and her condition but to save her, Jin-Woo needed a sane and calm-minded Haru as his comrade. And as Haru was right now, Jin-Woo had a feeling that the teenager contained nothing more than blood lust in his consciousness.

"We are gonna save her, Haru. Just keep your calm, alright?"

There was a slow nod which came in reply but Jin-Woo was alright with it. Until Haru doesn't go on a rampage and hears him out, Jin-Woo believes that he and Haru can rescue Jinah.

After exiting the building three women came into view who were looking out for Haru and Jin-Woo.

"You go talk to a hunter Cha." Saying so Haru began walking toward Kuroi and Riko whom he had called and told to meet him there.

Hunter Cha Hae-In was also present here even though she needed to take some rest after the raid. Jin-Woo seemed a little taken aback at why he needed to talk with Cha Hae-In alone but he didn't resist meeting her and slowly made his way toward the blond.

"Haru...what has been happening?" Riko asked in a concerned tone with her usual carefree attitude nowhere to be seen. Kuroi looked equally stressed as well after watching what occurred back on that island.

Haru remained silent for a bit before he turned toward the older female and relayed his request.

"I will send you both to somewhere safe so until I don't return please refrain from going anywhere."

Haru had prepared a warehouse on the outskirts of the city which was surrounded by numerous traps for normal hunters, and a massive amount of his monster slaves were scattered around the place who would protect Kuroi and Riko for the time being.

When Haru brought the two into this world, he accepted the responsibility to keep them safe and healthy so this much was nothing to mention about.

"Haru why aren't you-" Riko was about to complain about being ignored when she felt some weight over her head and Haru's warm eyes in front of hers.

"Pile up your complaints. I will listen to them once I return, alright?"

For some reason, hearing his words and that tone made Riko's eyes moisten before she replied with a bright smile.

"Yes...I will...so make sure you return safely."

****

A/N:- I never planned on making it so emotional but yeah. Riko raised a serious flag there but you know me. I won't create any unnecessary drama.

Anyway, I have created a Patreon for fanfic as well which you can check at: Svneighter/Patreon.
