Solo Levelling: Perception

World: - Solo leveling Main heroine: - Sung Jinah Harem: - No **** A guy died and was granted skills and some mission to get reborn in the world where resides his fictional love and so he jumped without hesitation. He was trained to hone his skills and was left in the world of dungeons and monsters where death was as common as a daily sale. Yet, the boy found a way to live his leisurely life with his girl and see this world burn for all it could. ***** A/N: - This is a chill story and I would upload as much time as I get. No promises. There would be centric romance and would only turn harem if I get enough response. Skills would be cliche since I am not a true weeb but know my shit to write some decent fiction. English isn't my first language so expect some mistakes and if you want to criticize, then please make it worth checking. If I get enough responses, I would do a poll for harem members but no Cha Hae-In tho. Sung Jin Woo would die single that way.

Chapter 50- Exposing the plot?

The mutated ants from the Jeju islands have adopted to fly across nations and attack those areas which weren't under the protection of hunters. Naturally, not every coastal area could be guarded by the hunters since the dungeons that erupt regularly within the cities holds their utmost priority.

The previous raids on Jeju-do have been a failure which led the Korean Hunter Association to accept the proposal sent by Japan.

The said proposal offered the top-ranking hunters along with the strongest Japanese hunter—Goto Ryuuji to be a part of the allied raid.

The plan was that the Japanese Hunter would diverge the soldier ants while the Korean hunters would take care of the Queen and its nest.

Go Gun-Hee had no choice but to accept the proposal since sooner or later, those many creatures from Jeju-do would start attacking nearby countries in massive numbers and at that time Korea would be responsible for it if they do not take care of the nest once and for all.

For that reason, the chairman of the Korean Hunter Association has made an appointment with all the active S-rank hunters of Korea except for Haruka, Jin-Woo, and the retired hunter Min Byung-Gyu.

If about the two newly evaluated S-rankers then Go Gun-Hee would have a separate chat with them regarding the matter because of various reasons. And about the retired healer then Go Gun-Hee had no official authority to persuade the man. However, the old man hopes that a certain individual might do the work in bringing Byung-Gyu along the board.

"Can we trust them, Chairman? "It was the man with the title 'Ultimate Soldier', Choi Jong-In spoke up with a small frown marring his face.

Go Gun-Hee could understand his stance since this proposal was too good to be true, even so when such a competitive country as Japan was to offer kindness. Despite they have requested a fair share of mana stones from the island, they still were offering a lot in return by sending such heavy manpower in the raid.

With a heavy voice, the Chairman spoke up, "It's no longer the matter about whether we could trust them or not. We need to clear Jeju Island before any more life could be sacrificed because of our inability but that doesn't mean I could allow our hunters to go unprepared there only to face the same fate as the previous times."

With his head leaning slightly down, Go Gun-Hee concluded his words, "We need this alliance, Hunter Choi."

Go Gun-Hee accepts that his words might be a little rude or mildly offensive but it was a fact that the Korean team would face defeat again if the people in front of him participated. The addition in the Hunters Guild, Hunter Cha might be strong but the enemy has an enormous army in stock.

At the moment, Go Gun-Hee couldn't tell what the two new S-rankers would have their take on this raid since until now they have been pretty much dormant.

It was inevitable to ally with Japan and execute this raid. If not then other than reputation, Korean Association might lose the trust of its own people.

The room was surrounded by a deep silence when suddenly...

"Hey, everyone."

"Wait!"

It was the surveillance chief Woo Jim-Chul, who shouted just after a sudden intrusion greeted others. The reason Jin-Chul exclaimed in a panic, emerges from the fact that both Cha Hae-In and Baek Yoonho had launched themselves toward the new arrival with their fist clenched and prepared to attack.

Reflexive action, that could not be built in a day and that speed of reaction was something people could expect from only S-rankers.

"I guess this is how strong people greet each other? "

Haru tilted his head without minding the attack directed in his direction since Limitless was practically unbreachable, how much strength did one put behind their assault.

Cha Hae-In and Baek Yoonho soon realized the identity of the new arrival before they pulled themselves away.

"Hunter Nanase Haruka. It's the first time we are meeting formally right? "

The calm-headed Choi Jong-In stepped forward to save his vice guild master from embarrassment as he offered his hand to the youngest hunter in the room.

Haru wordlessly shook his hand with a nod before he faced the Association Chairman.

Ma Dongwook and Lim Tae-Gyu had complicated expressions on their faces. The prior one seemed amazed by the fact that Haru could walk in such a tightly secured room without much problem, whereas the guild master of Ranger Guild had a scowl on his face since Haru was also one along with Sung Jin-Woo who ruined the debut of Ranger Guild's star recruit.

Regardless, Haru didn't pay much mind to it before asking the Chairman in an amused tone, "I feel mildly offended that I wasn't invited today."

Despite he said that there was no annoyance in his voice.

"I planned to have a separate meeting with Hunter Nanase and Hunter Sung."

"Well, it doesn't matter since this raid is gonna overturn when you hear this... "

Suddenly Haru took out his phone and asked Jin-Chul to connect it to the conference room projector.

No one asked but with a confused expression kept their eyes focused on the big screen before a video clip began to play.

Jin-Chul and Haru stood side by side as they also watched the show which was going to change various things.

"Isn't that...Japanese top-ranked hunter Goto Ryuuji?" Cha Hae-In voiced her thoughts upon finding the familiar face in the video.

"...and that's the Japanese Hunter Association Chairman, Matsumoto Shigeo..."

Go Gun-Hee muttered under his breath with his eyes fixated on the screen and fist clenched, as the content of the two individuals' chat reached up to the audience.

There were only three people in the video. Except for the two previously mentioned, there was the voice of the third person who was also recording the footage from some spy came, probably attached to his clothes or something.

"This can't be... "

Haru knew he was going to expose the Japanese Association with this, earlier than the plot but this was the only way of saving his father from drowning in guilt.

'Vin Diesel must be proud of me... ' Haru inwardly chuckled.

Jin-Woo was in confusion.

Undoubtedly he was beyond elated by the fact that not only his mother but his father as well have rejoined the family.

It was like a dream turning true.

However, the reason for his dilemma emerges from the fact that his dad wasn't giving a proper answer to why he was staying away from his family even though he walked out of the dungeon some weeks ago.

There were many things his father refused to answer which was making Jin-Woo slightly uneasy.

'I guess I have no other option rather than to ask him... '

Haru has shown through his actions that he knows things beyond a human's limit and also the source of his skills was something Jin-woo could never get a grasp of. Jin-Woo was indeed in Haru's debt but the answers Jin-Woo was searching for could only be answered by him.

'I just hope I am overthinking things... '

I have decided to end this FF by the end of the Solo leveling plot and if I get enough reviews and comments then I might write Vol 2?

Well, it's still quite early since concluding this volume would take at least 300 chapters or maybe more.

Anyway, drop a comment.

It's still midweek. If the power stone reaches 500 then I might drop another chappy~
