Solo Levelling: Perception

World: - Solo leveling Main heroine: - Sung Jinah Harem: - No **** A guy died and was granted skills and some mission to get reborn in the world where resides his fictional love and so he jumped without hesitation. He was trained to hone his skills and was left in the world of dungeons and monsters where death was as common as a daily sale. Yet, the boy found a way to live his leisurely life with his girl and see this world burn for all it could. ***** A/N: - This is a chill story and I would upload as much time as I get. No promises. There would be centric romance and would only turn harem if I get enough response. Skills would be cliche since I am not a true weeb but know my shit to write some decent fiction. English isn't my first language so expect some mistakes and if you want to criticize, then please make it worth checking. If I get enough responses, I would do a poll for harem members but no Cha Hae-In tho. Sung Jin Woo would die single that way.

Chapter 27- Floor 1: Drawing first blood

Facing a literal God was not something Tony Stark generally faces in his everyday life but when it was someone who was regarded as a bastard in his family and the title he was granted attached mischief to it, Tony felt no intimidation downing his drink as he walked up to Loki.

"When they come, my team that is, they all would aim for you."

Right now despite showing a brave front, even Tony was not sure where the heck this so-called group of superheroes the one-eyed pirate has gathered were wandering around. Last he remembered, Thor was on a probable one-way trip in a giant cage and the big green went off on his own, about whom Tony has yet to hear any news.

Loki, indeed seemed a little worked up there, just as Tony wanted the green-caped guy to be but a die-hard prideful god followed soon after with a strong rebuke.

"We have an army."

"We have a hulk."

Tony's reply came out in a flash like it was natural for him to believe that the green angry mountain would arrive on time to clap the upcoming army's arses one by one.

That dude...how does he scratch his own ass by the way...?

"Oh, I thought that beast just wandered off?"

Still quite cheeky are we? Tony internally thought as he stepped down the aisle with his drink in his tight grasp he intended to present an argument to delay some time but his senses flared and a connotation of danger overwhelmed him entirely.

It seemed Tony was not only the paranoid one here since the prince of Asgard also widened his gaze and was about to turn around, seemingly sensing the approaching threat. Tony's gaze also traveled toward the rear only to get surprised to see that someone sneaked up to them without giving off his presence at all.

However, it was not the point to exclaim at the moment at all since the danger which approached was not directed at Tony, but rather...

***BOOOOM***

As a sonic boom erupted, Loki's chest was thrust with a frontal kick by the said aggressor as some weird yet destructive black lightning roamed around Loki's body for a bit before he shot across the hall, missing Tony by some millimeters in the way, before the Asgardian got stuck to the wall.

***BHAAAM***

The bar counter was broken like a foam block as Loki got himself sculpted into the wall with his eyes rolled white and mouth wide agape due to the sheer force he got hit with, which even Tony could feel from this afar. Loki was unresponsive but Tony instantly snatched his gaze away from the poor soul, despite it being an enticing sight worth taking a picture of, before he looked toward the unexpected appearance, quickly calling Jarvis to send the goodies.

The man...no, the boy with Asian features and a weird blindfold around his head had no clear expression across his face nor he seemed in the mood for another assault which Tony was unsure of withholding, unlike Loki. Despite not being strong like Thor, Loki was still a deity who had super endurance but Tony...indeed he need a suit right now. Jarvis!

"Who you would be?"

Tony tried to remain confident like before with his amused tone highlighting his unwavering facade despite he just seen a teenager kicking the shit out of an Asgardian prince.

In response, the boy didn't speak anything and just walked by Tony before stopping before the new wall design, which Tony surely would like to replace soon.

"Uh-uh...you can't take that, boy. " Tony ordered with his hand already covered by his repulsor. His Mark VII was aligning accordingly as Tony finally felt a sense of peace enwrapped in his domain of expertise.

Despite the warning, the blindfolded boy still took hold of the scepter through which Loki has screwed up several minds before.

"Is your attention at the right place at the moment, Mr. Stark?"

Just like his words were a cue, the strange energy from the machine Selvig has made with the help of Tesseract activated, piercing through the sky, and before Tony could even move a bit, there was a large hole now hanging over New York.

'Holy... ' Tony indeed knew he had to launch off to deal with the upcoming threat but he wanted to collect the bizarre tool of Loki to render the God of Mischief powerless when he woke up.

But...

"Fuck...where that brat went off to?"

[He escaped from right in front of you, sir.]

He couldn't discern whether Jarvis was informing him or simply mocking his master...

*****

The beginning of the end seemingly has begun with the massive hole currently stretched in the sky, glaring at the masses of Manhattan. Many of those who were under the shade of this unexpected phenomenon were already panicking to evacuate and those who still were marveling at the sight instantly ran away in fret upon witnessing some alien creature riding down on some spacecraft toward the surface.

But in between humanity and these unwelcomed guests, stood a lone boy with his eyes now uncovered and unbound of any obstruction as he gazed at the incoming army.

"Curse Technique Reversal: Red."

On those murmurs, a small red orb began summoning over his raised index finger as more than a dozen of airships approached Haru intending to swat away the bug that was standing in their way toward mass destruction.

But...

***BOOOOOOMMM***

All those approaching Chitauri soldiers who got in contact with the cursed technique were blasted off mercilessly, crashing into each other and destroying themselves in the process. It didn't stop there the red orb even traveled out of the portal to erase the existence of more than thirty soldiers in a swift transition.

Haru knew standing here and releasing his curses wouldn't be efficient since they were a humongous quantity and the portal was wide open for them to sneak away easily.

He manifested his ring in the shape of a double-ended sword that could be detached at will. Twirling the sword in his hold, Haru accelerated toward the incoming aggressor before he coated his weapon with mana and slashed at nothing but empty air.

***SLASH***

Despite the weapon holding nothing in particular as its target, the wide reach of the attack took down eight ships at once decapitating the Chitauri soldiers in swift motion like Haru was just slicing butter with a heated knife.

Many of the invaders already escaped Haru's reach but he already sensed Iron Man approaching so he didn't bother turning just now, as he readied himself for the next attack.

The war has begun.
