20 - unexpected visit (part 2)

~1 and a half hour later~ 

"Phew, that's finally done." He said as he clenched onto his feet that was stuck to the ground with a bit of a muscle ache due to the daily quest that has become harder to keep up as his levels increased but it wasn't as stressful as what it was like the first time he got the system which was a horrendous experience. 

And now thinking back to it, it has almost been a full 3 weeks since then. He has also gained some muscles, which scientifically speaking all his fat turned into which was one of the advantages he has since he was quite overweight from the beginning. He has also become a bit taller but not to the point that he was at the same height as Leohart. But all in all, the changes aren't really recognisable since he was always in his baggy hood, covering his whole body with little space to see his full appearance. And luckily the muscles he gained doesn't make him look bulky or of the macho type guys.

[I got to say the system is such a scam, it only gave me 1 basic point for defeating the boss. Furthermore, it was an E rank key, the creatures inside were difficult to battle.] He thought to himself wondering if the monsters from the other world would be more difficult to handle in a few months time. 

He sighed, but luckily for him, he has also gained some valuable items such as the red magic stone which has already been incorporated for his use along with increasing his experience points. 

Going back to the inventory he looked over the items the creature dropped last night.

Description: a key that transfers the individual player to the other side of the portal that contains the use of dark magic creatures.

'Hallow museum?' Mickaila questioned, 'wasn't that museum already closed down and in ruins a few years back?' he questioned the system. ' yes.' the system simply replied whilst Mickaila just nodded. 

The Hallow museum was once a popular place for people to visit but it started to close down when rumours of monsters within the museum started to spread and it was forced to close when scents of dead bodies were smelt on the premises making it a bad omen and no one dared to go close to it ever since. Despite the fact that there was no evidence for such baseless rumours and no bodies were found under legal authorities making it one of many mysteries. Thinking back, the museum was about a 2 hour ride from their resident and it's best if he went later rather than now since he has already made Rosalia worried enough. 

"Ok, it's time to go back." He said out loud facing the riverbank near the mountains as he started to slowly jog his way back home. 

~back to the resident's living room~

After what seems like an hour of silence after their first few conversations since the guest arrived to the resident, all sitting down politely around the living room table with a cup of coffee within their hands. Unlike normal families, the Hades household only daughter does not have anything in common with her father or step-mother making it an awkward atmosphere. 

But not soon later, the head of the family started to speak up, "cough" as he caught all the attention of people within the room whilst placing his coffee down on the table, "now that we are done with the small greetings, Rosalia come upstairs I need to speak with you." Her father (Angus) said as Rosalia nodded and led the way upstairs into her office whilst the son and mother couple took a breather and began to chat more comfortably with the tension gone. 

As both Rosalia and Angus went inside the room, she swiftly shut the door behind her whilst her father sat down on the single sofa that was just next to the mini table at the middle of the room. And as for Rosalia she just swiftly moved her Wheely chair from behind her desk full of paperworks out so she could sit down on it. 

"So, what would you like to discuss?" Rosalia asked monotonically, "how is everything going on at your side?"  He questioned whilst Rosalia uninterestedly looked back at him with a business partner like face that was more on the unfriendly side, "everything is just as you wanted." She simply replied .

The man who claims to be her father but never cared a ouch about her and her brother sat there Infront of her with a smirk on his face, "I guess I've made a good choice to let you go into the army, now you are helping the family fame." He smirked believing she was one of them. 

Rosalia internally scoffed, in truth she never wanted to be a soldier or even a general but in order to keep her brother safe, at a young  age since their mother's disappearance, she promised to become stronger, strong enough that she could protect those close to her and that is how she  became what she was today. She looked up into the man's face with an indifferent expression, "just keep your promise and I will keep mine." She answered, "oh yes..." He replied, "and if you ever approach my little brother then all the things you have now would be gone in a flash." She replied in a tone that was calm but threatening at the same time. 

And just before she was about to reach the door she was suddenly stopped by the sudden question from his father, "do you still blame me?" He asked, making Rosalia scoff even more, "blame?" She asked, looking back at the man with a slight flaming hatred within her eyes, she stared back at the man as if she could piece straight through him, "it was your fault that she left." Says Rosalia who exited the  room not wanting to carry out this conversation whilst Angus lied back down onto the sofa and closed his eyes whilst letting out a deep breath. 

~and at the same time downstairs~ 

Mickaila who streamlined his way back to the house discovered some fancy black cars parked outside with a driver inside as if waiting for someone to come out, believing that his sister had some guest but from the make and model, he knew exactly who came today and he wasn't completely happy with it. 

But nevertheless he still made his way inside and just as guessed, Leohart and his mother who nonchalantly chatting as they sat around the living room table treating the house as if it was theirs whilst Mickaila shut the door behind him and was about to head upstairs until he caught the attention of both the son and mother couple in the living room. 

"It seems you've arrived." Leohart said in a distasteful tone whilst Mickaila just ignored it acting as if a wind just suddenly blew past him, "Leo, you shouldn't speak to your brother in that way." Leslie scolded. But even with her scolding, it wouldn't change how he was constantly being pestered by Leohart.

But as for Mickaila, he just carried on walking towards the stairs, "hey are you listening?" Says Leohart in a commanding tone.

But still he didn't receive an answer and this aggravated Leohart who decided to teach him a lesson charged towards Mickaila who was already at the staircase walking up towards his room. 

Just as he approached Mickaila, tightening his grip on his shoulder, "hey, are you deaf?" Leohart questioned in a mocking tone whilst Mickaila turned around giving a dark menacing glare from underneath his hood which made it look sinister and deadly making Leohart flinch as he never seen such a killing aura and backed up since it was the first time Mickaila has ever acted outside of his usual self - a coward. 

But to Mickaila who didn't want to make a scene out of small fries like him in his sister's residence. He decided to leave things as it is but that doesn't mean if the next time he sees Leohart,  he would be let off this easily. 

Turning back facing his destination (i.e. his room) he swiftly made it inside and locked the door behind him.

And as for Leohart who was left speechless was standing at the top of the staircase dumbfounded with how Mickaila's personality had a sudden 180 change. 

And not soon after, the uninvited guests left the building and were on their way back to the Hades household and another peaceful day was resolved. However no one knew what was about to come in the near future was more than Mickaila and Rosalia had bargained for.
