Chapter 14

"Simi,what are you thinking of?"

Shoji bent down to reach my height.Our faces at a distance where our eyes were caught in an invisible trance unable to stare away.His twinkling emarld eyes still amazed me more like enchanted me.

Unintentionally l backed away from him.He looked hurt by the gesture but quickly hid with a bright smile.

"Oh nothing really."

l tried easing the beginning of tension easing slowly towards us.

"Are you enjoying the experience here?"

"Yes,i guess,it's pretty easy going and not really hard to deal with the new environment,except for the homework l think everything is fine."

He chuckled and l found myself addictively joining in.My complaints seemed a little childish to say but l was glad he didn't mind.He looked cute.The more l looked at himself the days passed he looked more and more unresistable like it was getting harder for not get him out my gaze it really applied to all situations he was the first thing l spotted in a room like a blossoming flower dazzled by the gazes of the sun and howling wind which basically makes it more enchanting to look at.

lt made my heart flatter even at the mysterious image l pictured him in mind.lt was an unknown feeling growing in me and l knew what it was but l just wanted to be oblivious of the matter and enjoy the moment with him which was pretty nice.

l still wondered how the guys were back at home and imagined them still being clumsy in my absence which made me giggle.

"Whats making this fair lady giggle so much,"

He appeared out of nowhere like he always did.

"l just recalled something from my hometown."

"Oh really.."

He said as he sat next to me on the rooftop bench.

"Mmhm."l smiled reassuringly.

"Anyway are free this weekend."

"Why do you ask?"

"Oh nothing really l just wanted to take my fair lady to an outing in the outcasts of town and show her around maybe get to see movie and enjoy dinner with her."

the whole statement sounded like he was a noble man asking permission to court a lady which made me smile.l smiled at him warmly almost spitting out a chuckle.

"Ok am up for it."

He exaggeratingly let out a sigh of relief.Standing up and holding out his hand towards me like a prince asking a lady for a dance.l was surprised at first because if l took am a hundred percent sure his feet would be hurting by the end of the day and would it really be me problem?

Yes it definitely will but l wouldn't admit that.At the end l took my prince charmings hand but before the enchanting dance began the bell rang bringing us both into reality even at first our focus were grasped into each others eyes like a folding dimension consisting of me and him like aaaaah! My face to ear were flushed red and my heart beating so wild and don't know if he felt the same way or not there wasn't a way to know..sadly..

We headed back to our classes.l still thought of the moment during class period.of the bell hadn't rang what could he have done.Maybe..

l literally started imagining those clishe romance troupes l always read in novels in my past life and how so many unexpected things happened with the female lead and male lead..oh the wall scene..how my puppy Shoji would be like..

'aaah..Damn am still class'l thought trying to bring myself back to the lecture.l still covered my face with long black hair to hind my blushing face cause literally it was so embarrassing for to look at.But good thing no one noticed.

"Ummh Yumi,do you feel unwell?"

Emma my desk mate asked and also my only friend here asked me with a look of concern on her face.

"Am good,why?"

"Your face is kinda red and you can't stop frigging since the lesson started."

Was l so readable?

"No am ok"

l said trying to keep my cool.l really needed to stop thinking about this now.l slouched in my desk for the whole lesson.
