After the movie I decided to go to bed. It was about an hour later, that the bed dipped and Maddy slid in next to me. I smiled at her. The moonlight lit up her face just enough that I could see the unsure smile she gave me. Frowning, I reached up and tuck some of her hair behind her ear, /"What’s wrong?/"

/"Nothing,/" she sighs and tries to roll away from me but, my hand shots out and wraps around her waist.

/"Talk to me./"

/"I just, I want to…/" She trails off.

/"Whatever it is, you can always talk to me, Maddy./" I tell her from the bottom of my heart. /"It’s you and me here./" Nodding her head, she leans toward me and presses her lips to mine. At first, I was in shock and didn’t move. We have kissed before but, this felt different from the second her lips brushed mine. I fought with myself on whether to push her away or not. Not wanting to hurt her feelings. /"Maddy?/" I whispered against her lips.
