I shook my head, /"I’m glad you want me to stay with you,/" I smiled. I was nervous but, I was genuinely glad. Dinner had been so weird that I was worried he was going to break up with me.

Clark smiled and led me into the building. When we made it into his apartment after what felt like forever thanks to my nerves, he led me back to his bedroom. No fanfare needed. He shut the door behind me and was on me before I had even had a chance to take my jacket off.

He kissed me as he peeled my jacket off me. I kissed his back but, it didn’t feel like our other kisses had felt. It was off. Maybe it was just the off night we were having. I wanted that to be it. Even though deep down I was almost positive that wasn’t the case. He kissed down my neck, applying pressure so that I had no other choice but to move it to the side and give him better access. His hands went to my ass and he squeezed. I pushed my hands on his chest enough that he took a step back.
