Titanic Battle

I easily find the titan Cyclops as lounges on a nearby mountain, calling it his throne. He sits, having collapsed the mountain inward, making it into the perfect chair. His arms rested outward as if bringing the rest of the mountain into a hug.

This monster is huge, the largest of all the beings put into this world, standing hundreds of feet tall, yet his width matches his height, with lumbering muscle filling out his body that stands in the nude.

He quickly notices me but does not move. Honestly, it was due to the one time I attacked him when I was weaker, and yet I was unable to make him even get up out of his mountain chair. He merely waved his hand, creating massive wind pressure to send me flying away, though it did not kill me.

"OH THE TINY TWO-EYED MAN THING CAME BACK." The Cyclops says in a booming voice that nearly makes me step back, yet his use of language has improved. Before, he could only speak in broken sentences.

Though he is technically the only other being that can actually speak within this realm.

I say nothing in reply as I have nothing worth saying, so I just begin. I ready my spear, facing it forward as I get in stance to attack.

The titan cyclops just looks at me in interest as if playing with a toy, thinking that nothing the little thing does to him can actually hurt him. The last time he was hurt was when he was attacked by the big bird thing that flies in the sky. Yet he can't reach it, making him angry whenever it comes around.

For me, I don't let the Cyclops' nonchalance get to me, as I know that I have improved and that this time he won't be able to simply ignore me. Now I plan on killing him. This time for sure.

With my spear in hand, I rear back my arm as I steady my breathing. Putting all my strength and focus into this attack, I thrust forward at a speed unseen by the naked eye, making it look like I didn't even move.

Yet what did move was the Cyclops and the mountain he sat upon. As the pressure exerted and launched from my spear, thrust carved a valley in front of me, having destroyed literally everything except the cyclops himself and a few chunks of the mountain that got sent flying outward into the distance.

This time I sent him flying off into the distance. But I did not leave it at that as I flexed my legs, as they jump off the ground leaving a denture in the earth, as I am propelled forward, breaking the sound barrier and causing a boom to sound out.

My body launched in the direction the cyclops was flung; I soon catch up and see the monster standing up shakily as he dusts off his body, showing a small incision on his chest where the pressure hit. Sadly that was all the damage done to it.

Seeing me fast approaching, the cyclops yells out in anger, his voice echoing all around and nearly busting my eardrums due to the destructive voice he lets out.

"LITTLE MAN THING HURT ME, MAKES ME ANGRY!" His voice booms outward in a maddening anger as stomps towards my fast-approaching body.

I don't try to halt or stop my momentum as I merely ready my spear to meet the titanic monster head-on. And soon enough, my spear meets his ginormous fist. A fist so big that once in front of me, it is all I can see. The sky is blotted out, and the ground is no longer in sight, only the large fist being the only thing I can see.

Yet right now, that is the only thing I need to see. My spear punches forward as the monster's fist comes closer. And then the two meet. A collision occurs that collapses the very space around us.

As the void crackles and pops, the force sends the ground rippling as both me and the cyclops are tossed in either direction opposed to each other. His arms rupturing as blood is sent spewing around. The force from him sends me tumbling, making me cough out blood, but otherwise, I am fine.

He lets out a rough yell of pain and wrath as the cyclops stands up once more, this time the single eye on his face lighting up as if the gods themselves are descending.

Feeling the immediate danger, I take off in a sprint to find cover, as this is new, and I have yet to see this happen, whatever it may be. And soon enough, I find out and realize there was nowhere for me to hide.

A beam of concentrated light and destruction is let loose from the Cyclops' single eye, evaporating everything in its path, going into the distance, and disappearing beyond my sight. Yet the beam still continues from his eye, and as he moves his head to aim towards me, the beam follows, destroying everything in its path.

Feeling the heat radiating off the beam that fast approaches, I realize that if it hits, there is no surviving that thing. It truly evaporates everything it touches; even a god would have to block or flee from it. Truly something that puts this monster in the rank of SS, almost at the divine or mythical rank.

I even doubt my spear will hold up to that beam of absolute destruction, so the only choice I have is to dodge, so I continue to run. I then notice that the Cyclops is beginning to strain as blood leaks from its single eye, and it pants in exhaustion and pain.

With this, I know that it can't keep up the attack long, so this is my chance to make sure I can kill the beast. Once it runs out of juice and can no longer use the beam, I will finish it off.

But right now, I need to figure out how I will dodge the fast-approaching beam of destruction.
