Fiery Fight

As the fight rages on like fire, storm tempest with fire and magma shooting forth in nearly every direction. Literally as the Fire Elemental King had made the volcano erupt, causing magma to spew forth and lava to spill out. Even with my enhanced body, lava and magma can be quite dangerous.

It is only due to my insane level of speed that I have remained unharmed so far, as lava travels slowly, and even the fireballs and magma bombs he throws at me are too slow to hit me. But like anything without emotion, it just continues relentlessly and without mercy, as it calmly still tries to obliterate me.

Though I am doing the same, still to no success as every bit of damage it takes, it forms right back up, good as new. But I am not yet giving up. I believe this thing must have some sort of core-like thing that I need to destroy to kill it. Otherwise, I might just need to use a strong enough attack to destroy this entire volcano.

Which, by the way, is no normal volcano as it is humongous, probably equal to the supervolcanoes in my old world. Though I can't confirm as I had never seen them before.

Either way, this place is scorchingly hot and very dangerous if I stand still for a single moment, which is why I am constantly on the move and constantly swinging my spear.

I have, however, succeded in poking multiple holes into the volcano itself, causing much of the lava and magma to flow out of the volcano. Even the hard bedrock of the volcano itself can't stop my spear and its destructive power. If only I was strong enough to destroy elements themselves. Such as killing fire, then I could kill this elemental without having to worry about some hidden core.

Maybe one day, I will get to that level of power.

For now, though, I am just racing through the volcano and trying to find where this hidden core is. It has to be inside the volcano somewhere, as I have nearly already destroyed every part of the elemental body, which means it shouldn't be inside the body of it, so it has to be inside the volcano. That is probably why it never leaves the place.

But this place is huge, vast even, as I still have yet to explore most of it, even with my speed. It doesn't help that the Fire Elemental King is constantly on my ass, following me and throwing fire at me like a simple caveman throwing rocks.

Honestly, this thing is pretty simple-minded despite its strength, as it has yet to try anything new to kill me yet. Though just the heat of this place would be enough to kill most people or monsters. Only the other SS-rank monsters and beasts could survive here long enough to try and kill it.

"So where the hell is this core?" I mutter in slight frustration as I continue to race through the volcano, constantly trying to avoid the flowing lava and the fiery magma attacks from the elemental being chasing me from behind.

Suddenly the attack pattern changes; the Fire Elemental king has finally decided enough is enough and wants to try something new.

It stopped chasing me and throwing attacks at me as it came to an abrupt halt, and to stop my movement and barrier made of magma and lava appeared in front of me. Not only that, it blocks off all other exits to this area.

It looks almost like a boss room in a video game, and I can't escape until I defeat said boss. But this is anything but a video game.

But the Fire Elemental King is changing his strategy as he undergoes a transformation. His body enlarges by twice his size, barely fitting in this cavern inside the volcano. His body has magma spikes coming out and lava flowing from the volcano into his body as the heat becomes nearly unbearable, even for me.

Sweat begins to perspire from my body in large amounts as my temperature starts to shoot up to dangerous levels. This is where the true fight begins.

The elemental monster finishes his transformation and moves his hands slightly, causing pillars of lava and magma to rise up from the depths of the volcano as it increases the heat even more and has even more lava spewing forth in every direction.

This place is now a true hazard zone.

But his attacks do not end there, as the elemental beast opens its mouth, or what I think its mouth is, as it is hard to tell since the entire thing is fire. And then a fountain of fire spews from its body towards me like a flamethrower. It is constant, non-stop fire, and it follows me as I dodge and run out of the way.

I am starting to get sick of this place and all this damn fire! It is too freaking hot; I am about to become dehydrated by how much I am sweating, and this damn thing won't die.

"Fuck it!" I say, having had enough of this bullshit place. This is literally the worst environment to fight in.

I have had it with this place, so I am just gonna do it.

I will just destroy it all. The entire volcano system, I will wipe it completely out, and the core should be destroyed with it. So I will just destroy it all. But first, I need to get out of this place. I can only truly destroy it from the outside.

So I stop for just a mere moment, in a breath of time, as the fire closes in on me. But I ready my spear nonetheless, and I take a heavy step forward as I thrust my spear with my body towards the roof of this cavern.

My spear pushes forward, creating a cascade of pressure that shoots forward, blasting apart the bedrock as if it was never there in the first place, creating a hole that leads into the sky from the volcano the size of a house.

I immediately jump out, using all the strength in my legs to take me out of this hellish place, and then I find myself floating in the sky a moment later. The cool air brushing against my skin, bringing forth relief from the intense heat I was experiencing.

I slowly float in the sky as the speed I went was so fast that gravity has yet to work against me. And I look down and see the Fire Elemental King looking straight at me with its same calm face from within the hole. It just stands there.

Then finally, I begin to fall, as if time has started to work again. But I don't just fall; I position myself in a diving position, my spear pointed down towards the ground, with my body behind it.

And with every fiber of my being, I tighten my muscles; I clench my spear, I bring it back, and then I release it forward. The pressure exerted from my spear down towards the ground where the volcano is is so great that it sends my back higher into the air, almost near to where this realm ends in the sky.

But now my flight is uncontrollable as I toss and turn in the air like a ragdoll. The wind slapping my skin violently as my tired body just accepts being thrown around in the air.

Finally, my body begins to fall back down to the ground, and can position myself to where I can see what happened to the volcano and my attack. And well, at first, I was confused as I saw nothing, but then it dawned on me like the morning sun.

My attack is what creating nothing. As I look down towards the ground and literally see nothing. Just a gaping chasm of darkness, no ground or nothing for miles around. No hundreds of miles around. It is all just gone. Evaporated into nothingness.

Even the sky around me is clear as day, as if everything that was to happen is now gone as the pressure of my attack destroyed anything and everything.

Well, I killed it. But now what, as at this rate, I will fall into this chasm, wherever it may lead me.

I should probably do something so I don't fall into this. I have no idea if I can even survive down there, as it might take me out of this realm into the chaotic space of nothingness. So I would rather find a chance to get back to regular ground.
