Chapter 97

We get back to the city, and I can see a massive hole in the middle of the city. The black hole is strong enough to suck a lot of objects even when it only lasts for a few seconds. We slowly get back to the palace, and as we get inside the palace, we can see a lot of bones lying on the ground.

As we arrive at the throne room, I can see a small hill of bones behind the throne. As I get closer to the throne, I can feel some sort of mana coming from the room behind the throne. I walk past the hill of bones and the throne to get inside the room behind the throne.

As I get inside the room, I see a lot more bone hill inside this room. It looks like that bastard has many more minions that he can call if we stay in this place.

I continue to follow the feel of the mana and arrive in front of a pedestal. On top of the pedestal is a sword. It was a beautiful sword. Its blade is made of some sort of metal that shines a little gold color. I can see the metal is colored silver, but because it glows in gold, people might think that it was made of gold.

The grip of the sword is covered with some sort of leather. It was some sort of reptilian leather. Maybe a dragon? I don't know. However, dragons have scales rather than leather. So maybe it used Sea Dragon leather instead.

I can see some sort of rune or maybe old language carved on the blade. How do I know if this is an old language? There are a lot of similar patterns in the formation. I also see space between each shape.

I reach the sword, and when my hand touches the grip of the sword, I can feel a rush of power wash over me. It was warm and full of life, clearly the opposite of the feeling of this place. This mana is pure, the purest I ever experience in my life.

The sword glows even brighter than before, and as I raise it, a pillar of light shoots out from the sword and pierces through the sky. The roof got destroyed, and I could see the sky slowly clear, but it stopped after only clearing the sky for a couple of hundred meters.

It looks like the corrupted mana is too strong for this sword to purify. I shake my head and then look back at my men.

"Alright people! We need to loot this place from the bottom to the top! I want every single valuable thing in this place put in the throne room! Come on!"

My men cheer and start to search this place from top to bottom. While they are doing that, I decide to explore this room after putting the sword inside my inventory.

I look at Melisandre and say.

"Is there anything else, Melisandre? Or is it just this sword?"

The woman smiles at me and says.

"That is all, my lord. The prophecy has been fulfilled. You have completed the prophecy."

"Good because I need to take a long warm bath after this."

I sigh and say.

"How about the one-eyed Kraken?"

"I don't know, your highness. However, by the previous vision, he should arrive in a week."

"Good. We have time."

I look at the row upon row of books in front of me, and with a snap of my finger, they start to float toward me. I open up a portal to my inventory and let the books get inside my inventory. While letting the book float into my inventory, I look around the room.

After a few seconds of searching, I noticed an item with mana inside of it.

I picked it up, and it was a horn—a blowing horn of war. I can see a pattern on the horn, and I know it was some sort of runic formation instead of language this time. I touch it, feel the engraved runic formation, and feel there is still mana inside it.

"That was the infamous Dragon Horn of Valyria."

"Dragon Horn?"

"Yes. It was a horn that, to be said, can control any dragon hearing it."

"Truly?"

I look at Alduin and blow the horn. Loud noise can be heard throughout the room, and I can see Alduin look at me with a curious expression. I can hear his thoughts. He is asking me why I sound weird.

Weird? I sound weird, huh? Those that mean this horn did not work? Or does it only work for an enemy dragon? Maybe it did not have that much mana inside of the horn? I hope there is a book about this among the ones I take inside my inventory.

I shake my head and continue looting the room once more. I search the room for a few minutes and encounter a hidden room behind the bookshelf, and as I move the bookshelf, my jaw drops. There are mountains of gold inside this room. That's right! Plural! There are four mountains of gold inside the room.

And they are all gold. Not a gold coin. A gold coin is usually already combined with other metals to make it less valuable, but this time, all the gold in front of me is an ingot. A pure gold ingot.

Did I discover the Dragon's hoard? In the fantasy book, Dragon is a creature of greed. They will hoard a lot of valuable things inside their nest. I can already see Alduin has this behavior as well.

I look at Alduin purring at the sight of the gold and start to roll around the gold while releasing a cute roar. It looks like he already claims this part as his hoard.

"Alduin, can you get away from that pile?"

"Roar!"

"I know. I know. I will give your share when we get back home. For now, I need to store this treasure first."

"Ru?"

"Yes. I will give you your share."

"Ru~"

I grunt a little when Alduin tackles me and licks my face. After a few seconds, he stopped, and I could finally store all these treasures. It takes ten minutes for me to store all of them inside my inventory.

I put my head inside my inventory and grin a little when I see a lot of gold floating inside the inventory. I know I'm rich, but with this, I feel we are now the wealthiest kingdom in Westeros and Essos.

The only place I can think of that is richer than me is Yi Ti, where their noble shit gold and breath silver.

With this, I can ensure all the road projects will continue to work until they are finished. Other than that, I also have enough money to open up more projects and invest in something. I could also build an artificial river to connect Sol-Luna to the major cities around Lunaria.

However, it would make the road useless as the people will use the river instead. Urgh. I will think about it later.

I get up from the ground when all of the items inside this room are gone. I get back to the throne room and widen my eyes. My men have already gathered a lot of items, and right now, a mountain of valuable items appears in the middle of the throne room.
