A Fierce and Quiet Battle!

Damon had entered the luxurious, gigantic palace alongside Feyola and Elanore. Damon made them walk behind him, and used his Magic to cloak their presence alongside his. Damon had specifically told them that if a battle had broken out to hide so they don't get hurt or worse, die.

The Palace itself looked very elegant and luxurious. Damon's <Eyes Of Oblivion> could immediately recognize multiple Spirit Formations surrounding the Palace that served different useful functions. Some of the formations automatically cleaned the Palace, some of the formations acted for searching potential intruders.

Damon got onto one knee and began pouring his spirit power into the formation that acted to search for potential intruders. Damon couldn't simply crack and deactivate the formation, as that would immediately alert everyone in the house of his presence as they could immediately find out that someone had destroyed their formation.

Instead, Damon needed to slightly alter the formation to simply recognize him, Elanore and Feyola and not count them as intruders. Thankfully, Damon had signed-in the { Formation Master Knowledge Codex } in the past which had massively improved his World Spiritist capabilities.

Damon poured his Spirit Power into the formation and began altering it. To Damon's understanding, Spirit Formations were like code. Beings would code the formation using Spirit Power and once it would finish, they would enter the code. What Damon was trying to do was essentially hack and then edit the code without being found out.

Seconds had swiftly turned to minutes and after around 10 minutes, Damon had finally completed his alterations of the formation, making it so that himself, Feyola and Elanore were not seen as intruders.

Now that Damon had completed that, he could finally look around the Palace and gather information. Damon's <Eyes Of Oblivion> had many abilities, one of them being the ability to sense the flow and capacity of mana in the surrounding area. Using this ability, Damon's eyes immediately locked into the highest room in the Palace, which looked like a training room.

Damon could sense a Human Figure with a massive amount of powerful and overbearing Mana moving around the room. Although Damon had no-idea how he looked, judging from his overbearing power, Damon could make a calculated guess that it was Eternal King Vayne.

Damon could also sense another figure walking around the Palace, although he had no idea who this particular figure was, Damon could sense that person was strong.

Damon relayed this information to Feyola and Elanore and surprisingly, Feyola had an answer to Damon's words.

"That should be Rokn, the Eternal King's Marshall." Feyola had blurted out, her voice still laced with a sense of apprehension towards Damon due to her fear of him.

Feyola then continued to explain who Rokn was. According to historical records, Rokn was Vayne's staunchest support and his strongest supporter as well. Every major battle Vayne had fought in history, Rokn was also reportedly a major player in those battles, using his strength to defend Vayne from any and all forms of attacks.

Rokn was also reportedly an amazing Killer who had Assassinated many of Vayne's strongest enemies, although that part still remains to be confirmed.

Damon immediately decided that he needed to kill Rokn before battling Vayne, lest Rokn interrupt his battle with Vayne. Thankfully, the training room Vayne was in had silencing formations that removed any noise from entering it.

Damon immediately began silently making his way throughout the Palace. Before battling Rokn and Vayne, he wanted to steal as much available treasure as possible. Also, Damon wanted to find an effective room for Elanore and Feyola to hide in away from all of the danger.

Rokn was currently scouting the third floor of the Palace, giving Damon ample time to search for an available spot to hide Elanore and Feyola. Elanore was still recovering from her injuries and Feyola had no training at all, which would make battling while defending the two of them an absolute pain.

Damon settled on one of the bedrooms of the Palace, it was large and had many luxurious furnishings to increase the comfort of anyone residing in the room currently.

"I will return for you two once I kill Rokn and Vayne." Damon said. Elanore nodded quite happily. As a Demon herself, she was more than happy to follow Damon's orders.

Feyola however was less vocal about her appreciation of Damon's efforts, just leaving him with a blunt and quiet, "Don't die."

However, Damon didn't particularly care what she said, and just nodded, leaving the room. Now that he had some time for himself, Damon thought about many things while sneaking around the Palace.

Damon's biggest thought was the challenges of the Southern Obsidian Moon Domain that he had been presented. According to the information Damon had obtained, the challenges the Domain presents can change and vary over time. However, Damon had never heard about such intense challenges.

Battling a near endless horde of Monsters for the first stage, then needing to defeat a Dark Abyssal Dragon, having to overpower a terrifying mental attack and now needing to battle the Eternal King Vayne and his General Rokn. Although all of these enemies powers had been suppressed to around Damon's level of power.

These enemies still had lots of knowledge and experience about combat, and would effortlessly wipe the floor with most challenges even with the highest talents. Damon almost felt like the Domain became intentionally more difficult to counter his immense talent.

Damon moved around the Palace, eventually entering the Magic Library. Immediately, Damon could see that the Library had been well-maintained and was in very good condition. It was sparkling clean and was very organized. The room was like a whole new world. The room was as large as a football field, and there were all sorts of Magic Books, Mana and Spirit Combat Techniques, and many other books such as Spell books that would help Damon in combat.

However, the craziest thing Damon saw were books written in Ancient Draconic Language. The Draconic Language was the most powerful language in the entire world when it came to Magic and Spirit Power. It massively enhanced the power of all spells and Formations casted using the language and also had many exclusive spells that were terrifyingly powerful.

Large-Scale Wars would be fought for the number of incredibly powerful books held in this Library, yet Damon held it all to himself.

Damon used his <Eyes Of Oblivion>, looking for books or items that had the highest Mana concentration and thus were the most powerful and useful, deciding to take those books first. Damon swept through the room, taking all the books he could've asked for and placing them in his Eternal Storage Ring.

After about 5 minutes, the room looked like a shell of its former self, completely empty and devoid of the majesty it previously had when it was filled with books and information. After cleaning out the room, Damon decided it was time to battle Rokn.

Damon shifted out of the room through the darkness, sending his Shadows to prowl the area and pounce on Rokn once the battle began.

Damon had found Rokn within the Palace Hall, which had an ample amount of Space for Damon and Rokn to battle. Rokn was a rather normal looking Human. He appeared as a strong middle-aged man, with a muscular body and black hair, simple brown eyes. His only defining trait was a massive scar across his neck.

"BloodReaper!" Damon called out, summoning BloodReaper that appeared in his arms in the form of Sharp Twin Katanas that looked as if they could cut through even the fabric of space.

Damon took a deep breath to prepare himself. His Shadow Soldiers were ready to pounce on the unsuspecting Rokn and were awaiting Damon's attack.

Damon firmed his will and flashed out of the Darkness, amplifying his power as he darted towards Rokn, prepared to attack. Simultaneously, Kaldr, Varus and the various Shadow Soldiers darted out with immense ferocity, attempting to rip Rokn's neck out.

"INSOLENT FOOLS! DIE!" Without hesistation, Rokn had immediately sensed the dangerous attacks from various enemies and lashed out, his immense power blasting across the room and sending a shockwave that immediately destroyed all the hall's furniture.

In the next moment, an endless amount of Mana gathered in the hand of Rokn, the mana in the room was sucked into his palm, and Damon could feel his body becoming sluggish and weaker due to the lack of mana. Although they were on the same cultivation level due to the Domain's manipulation, Rokn's experience and combat knowledge made him much more efficient than Damon.

Rokn snapped his fingers, and the massive amount of mana he gathered exploded out into 7 unique spells that flooded towards Damon.

Damon immediately recognized the spell, but that just made him even more shocked.

'Elemental Overload!' Damon thought as he recognized the spell. This spell gathered 5 or more elements and amplified them greatly, essentially overloading them elements off of eachother before sending the elements towards your enemies.

This spell was extraordinarily unstable, and could even kill the caster without absolutely perfect mana control. However, Rokn not only was able to effortlessy cast the spell, he did it instantaneously without chanting for even a second, truly insane.

Damon leapt towards the attack and slashed BloodReaper.

[ Divine Combat Technique: Combat Style - Infernal Slash ].

A massive, arching slash of deadly infernal flames smashed into the Elemental Overload, creating a massive implosion that shook the entire room to it's core, leaving the fate of the attack unknown.
