Eternal King Vayne!

"Kill Eternal King Vayne and Get The Key to the Next Floor from his Corpse!"

Damon read the instructions on the stone monument that detailed how he can make his way to the next floor. However, what caught Damon's attention was the name of the enemy he had kill in order to obtain the key.

"Eternal King Vayne." Damon muttered to himself, that was a legendary name that everyone knew, as he was a tyrannical and immensely powerful person who had slaughtered an immesurable amount of people.

Vayne Luminous was the Prince of a long gone Empire that was called the Luminous Empire back when it had existed. Vayne was never intended to lead the Empire, as he was the Youngest Son. Instead, Vayne had lived a life of comfort that made him complacent and selfish. He was arrogant and overbearing.

Yet, when a freak accident killed most of Vayne's family, including all of his siblings, Vayne, who possessed neither the inclination nor the aptitude for rulership, suddenly found himself crowned. Vayne however, was a terrible King, who had no idea what he was doing and ran his Empire to the ground.

Eventually, the nobles of the Luminous Empire staged a coup and overthrew Vayne, torturing him and tossing him into the Desert Of Death for him to die a cruel and painful death. With nothing to his name, a broken battered body and a broken mind, Vayne travelled the land, and luckily for him or unluckily for his enemies, Vayne stumbled upon a Primordial Ruin.

Ruins were commonly found across the world, and they could be differentiated into Ancient Ruins and Primordial ruins, depending on their era of creation. Of the two, Primordial ruins were much rarer because they predated ancient ruins and existed since the Primordial Era, the first ever Era in the entire world which ended mysteriously. The average person from the Primordial Era was infinitely stronger than the average person today, and powerhouses from that Era were said to be able to easily eradicate current Kingdoms easily.

The Primordial Era was a time when Gods flourished and Primordial Gods still existed. Lilith, the first ever female demon and first Demon Sovereign and Empress, who gathered the different dark races under her banner as Demons was one of the strongest people in the Primordial Era and Arthur Pendragon, the founder of the Eternal Human Empire, was another being from that era.

After finding a Primordial Ruin, no-one knows what happened to Vayne in that Primordial Ruin, however Vayne left the Primordial Ruin immensely stronger than he had entered. He started off by single handedly slaughtering the entire Luminous Empire and announced himself to the world as the Eternal King.

Then, Vayne travelled across the land, slaughtering Empire's and Kingdoms effortlessly while increasing his power more and more, growing a fanatical group of followers along the way. In the end, it took the combined efforts of the Dragon Race, Human Race and various other superpowers to defeat Vayne and exterminate his followers.

Damon was surprised that Vayne was his opponent, as Vayne was supposedly killed in that battle, but Damon was also wondering about how he would actually defeat Vayne. Although Damon would imagine that Vayne's power would be suppressed since it would be impossible for Younger Generational Persons to defeat him, this still meant that Vayne would keep his immense spell collection, and battle knowledge, which massively outclassed Damon.

Damon decided to move on, walking on the path that had been set out in front of him as he searched for where the Eternal King could be located. Feyola and Elanore had walked behind Damon. He had told them to stand back whenever he got into battle so they would not be a hinderence or get injured themselves.

Damon walked through the pathway, killing a variety of weaker monsters on his way. However, the further and further Damon had walked, the more powerful the enemies he was battling had become. The further he walked, the quieter and eerier the surroundings became, and darkness had completely covered the sky.

As Damon walked further and further, he arrived at his destination. In the middle of the darkness held a massive Palace which was surrounded by a Chinese Style Courtyard. In the courtyard were various monsters sprawling about, all seemingly defending the courtyard from threats.

" Αόρατο." Damon casted softly, his body alongside the body of Feyola and Elanore all getting harder to see as the trio flashed through the surrounding area, rapidly approaching the Palace as Damon looked for a place where they could rest and analyze the situation.

"Hmm?"

As soon as Damon, Feyola and Elanore had entered the courtyard while held the Palace, a powerful Primordial Aura immediately wrapped around their body, suppressing their power and striking fear into their hearts.

"Primordial Might!" Damon said in his head as he realized what this aura was. Primordial Might was an Aura that surrounded items or beings from the Primordial Era. It was essentially the remnant of the energies left by the Primordial Era Beings and it was immensely powerful and had a strong suppressive power.

Judging by how dense and powerful the Primordial Might was in this entire surrounding area, Damon had deduced that this entire Palace and Courtyard was left behind from the Primordial Era. This shocked Damon as he had never heard any stories about Primordial Might in any of the Obsidian Domains, and that made him very curious.

Damon walked through the Courtyard, his <Eyes Of Oblivion> spotting any traps that were in the Courtyard and also spotting any Monsters that could potentially be in Damon's path. With his power, Damon would definitely be able to defeat the Monsters, however, he didn't want to be swarmed by an overwhelming amount of them. Or worse, alert the Eternal King.

Damon lead Feyola and Elanore through the Courtyard. Truth be told, he saw the two of them more as dead weight and afterthoughts, yet he had uses for them in the future once he left the Obsidian Domain and thus didn't want them to die.

Travelling around the Courtyard, Damon had found a Medicinal Garden that housed a variety of Herbs, Flowers and Plants that were all in very good health. The best part was Damon had spotted some Medicinal Plants that had existed even in the Primordial Era. One should know that all treasures from that Era were much more powerful and useful than treasures and herbs from this current era.

The Garden also contained rare and powerful herbs such as the Flower of Immortality, which could increaese someones lifespan by 2000 years when made into a Potion and also the Grass of Purity, which could Purify most known Curses.. Even in top tier Alchemy Empires, one would be hard-pressed to find these kinds of herbs, and unfortunately, no one knew how to grow them either. But with his system, Damon had the ability to grow and reproduce these Herbs and Plants.

"Soul Flowers." Feyola called out softly, but loud enough for Damon to hear, pointing towards a particular Purple and Pink Flower with multiple beautiful petals.

They were all Soul Flowers, which were no less valuable than the Flowers of Immortality, even more valuable. Soul Flowers were so valuable because they were one of the very very few things that had the ability to heal Souls.

Only a Demi-God World Spiritist could Heal Souls, and even then, the Demi-God World Spiritist would need to know incredibly powerful Soul Healing Techniques. Aside from that, the only other way to Heal and injured Soul was the Fountain of Immortality, which was present in the Elven Empire and asking the Church of Light's Saintess to heal you, both of which were near impossible without heavy connections.

Unfortunately, Damon couldn't pluck all these luxurious plants as of yet. Damon could tell that there was a Spirit Formation placed around the Garden that would alert if any plants were stolen, and Damon didn't doubt for a second that the formation was set by the Eternal King Vayne. Thus, Damon would definitely need to kill Vayne before ever beginning to get access to the Garden.

Damon nodded towards Feyola and Elanore, silently turning towards the entrance of the Palace, knowing that inside of that Palace he would meet Vayne.

The Search for the Terrifying Tyrant had Begun!
