Percy & Annabeth || engagement

Two heroes of Olympus lounged together in a hammock at Camp Half-Blood. "Annabeth?" Percy called out. Annabeth reclined in the hammock, basking in the pleasant day with her eyes closed.

"Yes, Seaweed Brain?" she responded

."How do you feel about the name Annabeth Jackson?" Percy inquired, a faint smile gracing his lips.

Opening her eyes, Annabeth turned to face her boyfriend, sensing his anticipation. She shrugged casually. "It has a nice ring to it. Why do you ask?" she inquired.

"Great!" Percy exclaimed, springing up from the hammock with excitement.

Annabeth moved to follow suit, but Percy halted her with a gesture. "Wait! Stay right there," he instructed.

Confusion clouded Annabeth's gray eyes as she settled back into the hammock, one eyebrow raised in curiosity. "Why?" she questioned.

Percy simply smiled at her, his eyes sparkling with determination, before dropping to one knee before her. Annabeth's breath caught in her throat as she watched him, her words trailing off when she noticed the small box he produced. With trembling hands, Percy opened the box, revealing a simple diamond ring.

Annabeth gasped in astonishment at the sight. "Annabeth Chase," Percy began, his voice steady and filled with emotion. "I've known you since I was twelve, and we've been through so much together. I love you more than anything. Will you marry me?" he asked, gazing up at her with unwavering confidence and love shining in his eyes.

Annabeth gazed at him for a moment before a radiant smile spread across her face. "Yes," she answered, her voice filled with joy. Percy's grin widened even further.

"Great!" he exclaimed happily. Without hesitation, Percy slipped the ring onto Annabeth's finger, and she leaned in to kiss him passionately. Then, with a burst of excitement, she threw herself at him, enveloping him in a tight hug and causing them both to tumble to the ground.

Percy chuckled warmly, returning her embrace as they lay there together, reveling in the moment of their newfound engagement.
