Holiday Away || magnus & Alec

"Do you have everything packed?" Asked Alec, looking around the living room with his blue eyes. "I don't trust you just snapping your fingers- can I look through the suitcases again?"

Sighing, Magnus looked over at the other male, "Alec, you've already done that ten times. Don't you think that's a little excessive?" Magnus asked, amusement in his eyes as he glanced over at the time.

The two were going on their first holiday excursion together, and the younger of the two seemed to be having a very hard time not over-worrying about every little detail. They'd packed an hour and twenty minutes before Magnus had decided to say anything.

"No, I don't think it's excessive at all." Alec huffed. "We don't want to forget anything. Like phone chargers! Did you see the phone chargers anywhere?" He started digging through a bag again, eyebrows furrowing as tried to find the wires buried deep within.

Magnus sighed. "Alexander, you've already found five different phone chargers and put them in that bag 'just in case'. Come on, we're going to miss the portal." Magnus mumbled. "And I will not be opening one up again."

"Fine- but I won't be happy if you make me forget anything!" Alex warned, grabbing some of the bags in his hands.

"Alright, alright." Magnus sighed with a sigh. "You know, I can just teleport things to us once we're there. Right?" He said. Alec opened his mouth before he turned a little red from embarrassment.

They then both walked out the door. Magnus had wanted to open the portal in an alley so there was a bit more room for the portal to open.

Magnus had rented them out an entire vacation home in a "faraway, forbidden land". Alec would come to find out that the forbidden, faraway land was just Peru.

And while Peru was quite far from where he was used to residing, the only reason why the warlock considered it was forbidden, was because he was banned from going there. So, that meant they could get kicked out at any moment if they were recognized, but adding a little danger to the trip never hurt anyone. Both men thoroughly enjoyed having a bit of danger in their lives.

The vacation home was alongside a beautiful beach, and because Peru was currently in its summer season, the sun would be shining on them all week. Alec was particularly happy about that; though the winter was nice, he wasn't a big fan of having to march through the snow and walk on the ice to get to where he wanted to be. It was also nice to be able to escape the confines of the bitter cold that had kept him in New York City. Besides, a bit of summer in the holidays was enough to make anyone beam.

Magnus had planned the trip far in advance as an early Christmas present for his beloved boyfriend, so many activities would be filling their schedule. He had time for relaxing and playing alongside the beach, time for an entire day dedicated to a water park, time at a special spa he'd been to many decades ago, time for exploring the world around them, and even time to meet up with some of their old friends. The vacation would be absolutely perfect and much needed after all the battles that had gone down in the previous years.

As the two reached the alley, Magnus made sure there was no one around before he opened up a portal. They grabbed all the bags. Reaching over, Magnus reached one hand out, taking Alec's hand. Magnus smiled at Alec before he walked through the portal, pulling Alec in after him.
