Soy Sauce San
protagonist OP from the beginning... brain filled with women...., his solutions were very weak ,invisibility and dancing in front the others? I don't think there will be any strong enemies for him...I thought this novel has a good potential from the title but...of course there were people who like this kind of novel** everyone has his own taste** ( I'm really disappointed, I loved the title so much, after reading few chapters my hope got crushed)
The Story is a complete disappointment, the author seems to forget what the story is about at certain points and just starts a completely different story with the same main character. It starts as a Rune Magic story, then turns into a Beast Tamer story and after that changes once again and every time it is like the MC completely forgets everything they knew about the world and his friends. It is best to just skip this story and save your money
Man, I hate that I'm doing this, but here I am. A review, Honestly It starts slow from Chp. 1 to 25. Then it picks up, and I'm really compelled to read more. It's a fantastic story from then on; very compelling, and it builds the foundation to what could be a really cool story and world from 25 to 100 is Very interesting. But, from what I've read from other reviews and my own opinion, “The higher they are; the harder they fall.” from then on it's riddled with contractions, bad grammar, and a plot that just goes off the railing. I'm on Chp. 131 And it is with my great displeasure to say I'm dropping this. I'd hope it gets better, but I don't see it doing that. I'm ending here, so it doesn't completely ruin my view of the book. Overall It's repetitive, shallow, and gets a little boring. I really wish the writer actually cared about his project to the amount of effort he did to chp. 25 to 100. My advice, don't read it. You're unfortunately setting yourself up for disappointment...
I had reservations about the novel, especially as it went premium so early. The limited available chapters didn’t provide enough insight into character, plot, and world development to make a commitment. Regardless, I gave it a shot and have read through the first two arcs of the story. I’m not a personal fan of how the author objectifies women and emphasizes certain stereotypes, but it’s not unusual with this particular genre. It felt more abrasive at the onset of the novel, but becomes mere background noise that one can just roll their eyes at and gloss over. In regards to the protagonist, he is arrogant, and although we’re told he’s brilliant (and at times acts in a scheming fashion), he doesn’t exploit his system or plot armor well. Even so, he’s not someone I hated, but maintained my curiosity on how he would develop. Honestly, the rune-based magic system is what hooked me, and although the MC could have just “downloaded” any rune he imaginable, he just settles for eight, which felt odd. There didn’t seem to be any restrictions that would limit him from downloading an infinite amount of runes, which would have been fine, as long as the author leaned into a more strategic usage of his OP-ness. In other words, I know it’s fantasy and logic and common-sense can be suspended to a degree, I had just hoped for more well-thought out and utilized magic-system. In light of this, I’m not surprised that when the school-arc started the author abandoned his run-based magic system and changed to beast-taming. The switch happened so fast that I continued reading for another 100 chapters refusing to believe that an author would do something so literarily ludicrous … but they did. Overall, despite the faults, it has been a fun read, but I just cannot continue reading the novel. It’s a bait-and-switch, which has annulled any trust I have in the author’s vision of their novel and the ability to finish it, let alone create a satisfying and coherent experience. It’s a genuine tragedy. Still, I hope the best for the author, that they might grow from this experience, develop their craft, and create a thrilling subsequent novel.
Ok I’m marking it. The final chapter I’m going to read this book is 357. I was interested in the SUmmary of the book. the beginning to Ch 106 was great. They correlated to what was written in the summary, however, after ch 106 it became a battle tamer story. The concepts of runes, backstory, and systeMs that were established in the first 106 chapters was just gone. Also, characters that were Introduced in the earlier chApterS were Never used again. I’ll give the Author the benefit of the doubt, if the author is going to use the characters later down In the novel like other novels do, however i hight doubt that. Arround ch 330 the author Adds more systems and magical abailities that make this novel more confusing. It seems like the author is wrIting 3 different nOvels in the same novel. the author is gEtting better, however, its getting confusing at this poInt.
The title is a little misleading, it should be "Shock! I change the premise of the story as soon as MC starts at the academy" Why did his loyal servant abandon him for a mysterious cult? what happened to the love rune obsessed beauty? What happened to runes in general? All these questions but I still need to ask why the MC literally stole his classmates family after meeting them twice?
At this point I’m far more interested in reading the author’s explanation on how this story got so wonky. It’s the first time I’ve reading a novel that completely scraps its original story 80 chapters in and then creates a new world (“pet system”) but keeps it under the same novel. Why not just create a new novel. The title don’t even make sense now. The story is still good, its just weird. Wouldn’t be surprised if the author/translator is trolling us by copy and pasting an entirely different story and waiting for us to figure out that the story ended at chapter 80
Lets see, stArting idea is okay, its composed of two different stories that get smashed together and honestly its kindof off putting to have two novels smashed together. he completely reforges it into a pokemon beast system story. altho the beast system isnt bad the face that he changes the whole story and is reconstructing a world he already started to make is a massive joke. we have beast takers at the beginning and he slaughtered them now it seems like he could no longer do that because beast tamers are incredible. anyone using runes is a joke and is simply laughed at by a beast tamer. there is no one who uses runes anywhere else in the world not even the main character.
It basically lost its meaning!! it went from an Mc reading Runes and translating them into English words into Mc cultivating Pets and using their powers while they are in a Tattoo form. The entire Runes systems seems to be forgotten or comepletely erased. Mans had a golden colour rune that had time as its power. He also had a lot of these powerfuls runes (Purple level and Gold level runes). It was good in the beginning, but it eventually fell apart.
