Introduction:

Mika, a 12 year old girl, lived with her mother, father, and older brother. Her older brother, although all of his belongings remained in the house, was never at home. Mika missed him a lot.

Her parents work full-time, leaving Mika at home on her own during the day. She didn't go to school, so her father always left her some maths work for her to do on her own. They were never strict with her so she never ended up doing a lot of it. Mika could never understand those strange Maths terms.

Despite her hatred for Maths, she had a hunger for books. reading.

it started when she was 7.

She was exploring the house on her own and decided to go to the basement. Here she found many of her mother's old books. Most of these were damaged by water leakages but she managed to find a couple 'readable' ones

Inspired the fantasy stories her father told her every night, she decided to pick up some fantasy classics. She got hooked from here and has been reading loads since.
