Who could it be?

After the Shareholder's meeting, everyone looked confused. Who could this person be?

The shareholders were happy with the marriage of both of me and Alex. They especially thought that having Sarah was a big asset to the company. But they wanted to know more about the accident.

"From what he said this thing had been happening for some time,"

"Yes, I also felt that. Who could it be? One of our associates?"

"But what happened to Sarah is sad, I really hope she can recover,"

"Do you think we will get to know what really happened?"

"Ben said he will talk with the investigator,"

"From what I gathered, I think whatever happened or is happening must be big,"

Were all they talked about during the lunch outing my father arranged for them. He even went out to explain some of the earlier problems we had due to the same person.

While my father entertained them, Jason, and I met up with the design team to discuss future projects. We had got a few new projects but some had decided to take a bit of time to think about whether they wanted to proceed or not. It's true the recent news and the rumors were upsetting and meant to have predicted the shareholders might want a change.

"Hi, Paul,"

"I was about to call you, Ben,"

"May I know why?"

"It's about Megan, do you know any information about her personal interactions with others by chance?"

"Hmm, no way. But why do you ask me that? Doesn't her parents know anything?"

"They don't know anyone she had been in touch with as if they had abandoned her many years ago,"

"I guess uncle McClarie was, very disappointed in her many years ago. He hoped she would change after starting the business but she choose the wrong path,"

"Feel sorry for the parents. They were good people except she turned out to be bad. So why were you looking for me?"

"Well the board met with me and they were ok with whatever rumors were going on. But they want some info on the things that happened. So I wanted to ask you if is it possible?"

"Well you cannot disclose a lot as we still investigate the case, but maybe we can tell them a few stories about the past things," said Paul after thinking for a while.

"Hmm....I was hoping you would be able to meet with them and explain,"

"Oh ok... hmm how about Thursday morning?"

"Thanks, Paul, I will arrange it,"

Meanwhile, the shareholders and Mr.Cliffords,

"I heard there's a rumor going on saying we are stepping down Ben," said one of them to Clifford.

"Well, we are not doing such a thing, do you think we need to clarify it?"

"In that case, you guys can issue a press release explaining, what they predict is wrong?" said Clifford.

"Yes we will get on to doing it, if not we might have issues with our trusted, clients,"

That evening the shareholders issued a statement regarding no shift of the CEO position as they all believed in Ben's decision and his private life will not be affected by work-related matters. And they all believe that Sarah's design capabilities are an added value to the company.

This made a real buzz in the business field. Many, expected some drama to unfold and the get more information regarding the so-called hash stories. Specially the competitive firms had been excepting a downfall after the rumors. But the opposite seems to happened.
