The shocking find

A mini recorder is inside the delivery of goods. We called Paul and let them find out more.

"Paul, this is a bit out of order," I said, trying to calm Sarah, who was feeling shocked and threatened.

"Maybe some rival you have to gather info about your projects or someone connected to the revenge scheme,"

"Someone we don't know about?" said Alex.

"So they must be the ones who shift the delivery men as well," I said thinking of other possibilities.

"Must be," said Paul. "Anyway keep track and be quiet about this, for now, we'll capture the delivery guys first,"

"Ok sure,"

"Paul, can you check out the model supply room for us," asked Sarah.

"What's wrong love?"

"Hmm, I recently ordered many new things for the model room. There are some gadgets I bought to make work easier. And I fear.."

"Ok, little one don't worry I will check them out before I go,"

With that, Paul invited a few of his officers to scan and check the room. We made it look like a new line of security checks for the company. So the others in the office feel relaxed thinking it's a new procedure.

"Mama they found out"

"So our purpose is achieved,"

"Mama, will they get to us?"

"That's my purpose, I don't want to want the bad guys to contact us. With their help I know I can meet him and get him to be on the right track,"

"This is worrying me," said Alex looking around if there were any hidden gadgets in the office.

"I asked Paul to get the tech leads in and check every inch after seven tonight,"

"Who will be here?"

"Hmm, Markus and your team will be here with them,"

"Ok. How's Sarah?"

"She's calm now,"

"Who could be doing something like this? I mean would a business rival would do something like this?" said Alex looking at me.

"Hmm... I just feel like someone is trying to reach us, I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing either," I said looking out of the glass window.

"What do you mean?"

"I don't know, Alex. It's just a feeling,"

That night the CIA tech team with the help of Markus and the team searched everything and found a few gadgets. It was around three in the morning when I got a call. Checking to see if Sarah had woken up, I moved slowly not to wake her.

"IS everything ok Markus?"

"Sir we found a message in one of the recorders,"

"What!"

"Yes sir, it's addressed to you and Sir Alex,"

"hmm.. ok... you come with Paul to my home and get Alex on the way,"

I went back to bed and tucked Sarah in, so she won't feel cold later. After a soft kiss on her forehead, I went to the pantry and prepared some coffee for the guys. After about half an hour they were here. First I made them be quiet and took them to the outdoor porch.

"Alex, why on earth are you in your PJ?" I asked laughing at him.

"Well, you can't make me change when I was fast asleep. And why did you ask these morons to drag me here?" he asked still half asleep.

"Well, THey have found something addressed to us"

"WHAT!!"

"Yes Alex, we found a recording addressed to you both and guess from whom?" said Paul looking at us.

"hmmm no idea," I said looking at Alex, who was trying to figure out what was happening.

"From Liam's mother - Maria,"

We were utterly shocked. But why us?

"She seems to have studied all of you guys for some time and thought of making a connection with you,"

"But why us not Liam?" I asked.

"I have no proper idea, but she could be worried about Liam and may be found out the connection you both have had with him,"

"You mean we have been followed all this time?" asked Alex almost spilling the coffee.

"Hmmm... could be,"

"Scary.."

"BEN!!!! Where are you? " I suddenly hear Sarah woke up and look for me. I excused myself and went to her.

"Hi, sweety," I hugged her tight. She is afraid if I am not around her at night, especially after the accident she had.

"The guys have found something, so we are talking about it,"

"I am sorry I disturb you. Do you all want something to drink or eat?" she asked sleepily.

"No I made some coffee, do you want some?"

"Hmm.."

"Wait for me,"

I went back to her with coffee and waited till she had it and fell asleep. Tucking her up and adjusting the AC I went back down to see Alex snoring and the others going through some documents in hand. Paul looked at me with a question.

"After the accident, she is afraid to sleep alone at night, that's why I spend more time at home with her,"

"Really, time didn't help?"

"No, seems some side effects are permanent,"

"I know you will look after her well. Hi Alex get up" said Paul waking up the sleepy head, no the free train.

"OHHH... okkkk... let's hear that ....." he nods off again making us laugh and waking him up startled.
