The Hospital - next day

"Ben,"

"Yes, Little Bud,"

"Why were you in the hospital?"

"Hmm.. well Maverick was attacked by someone and he's in critical condition,"

"OH my,"

"We don't know who it is and why they did it. So remember you are not going anywhere without the security team or me till we figure this out,"

"hmm.." she nodded agreeing.

"Paul and the team with us, are working hard to find out more about the people and get them arrested. We are trying to get this done before, Miss Tom boy goes abroad,"

"I know you guys can do it," was all she said looking at me.

The next morning, Sarah had made a basket of food and hot coffee for me to take to Liam. Who she said needs more support with everything happening around him.

I hugged her and let Markus' team take care of Sarah and the home. Later her parents will accompany us here till all this is sorted out. Alex had made similar arrangements with his in-laws.

Having all our parents living next to us and living on the same street is a lucky thing in times like this.

"Good Morning,"

"Good Morning Alex,"

"What did you bring?" he asked looking at the basket.

"Sarah send some breakfast to Liam. Her parents are coming in the evening,"

"Meg's parents are still abroad but I make them know that this is an emergency and my team will come to pick them up,"

"So you sent the little jet?"

"Yes, sorry for not asking before. Uncle gave an ok,"

"It's ok,"

We went to see Liam seated outside with his head in his hands.

"Hi, how is he?" I asked.

"hmm... he had another episode last night,"

"How are you holding up?" asked Alex.

"Hmm..."

"OK, Sarah send some breakfast for you. Here have this. You need to have the strength to face all this,"

At the same time, the doctor came out of Maverick's room.

"He's stable now, but I am not sure how long it will take him to wake up. Try talking to him and encourage him to wake up,"

"Thank you,"

"After he wakes up only we can access his brain functions. For now, everything seems normal,"

"Ok Doctor,"

"You try to hold on. Senior Alexander's doctor called me and told me about Marverick's background,"

Liam looked shocked and looked at us. But nodded ok to the doctor.

"Liam is everything ok?" I asked.

"I never informed our family physician about any of this. Actually, I never contacted him after grandfather passed away,"

"What, that's too strange. Which means someone is monitoring you," I said with a worried expression.

The situation is worse than I thought.

"Alex, can we ask Meg's chief to see if we can transfer him to the VIP section - I mean the restricted area,"

"I can get to it, but how will we do that? They seem to be here invisible to us,"

"First we'll see if we can get it done?"

"Liam I want you to ask a few more of your team to keep an eye on anyone suspicious that comes to see Maverick,"

"Ok, I understand,"

Meanwhile, Alex contacted Meg and she got her chief to contact Marvick's doctor in charge. We went to meet them in the chief's office.

"Well it's not a good thing to move him at this moment," said his doctor.

"But with what Ben told me it's necessary for the patient's safety. And with what you said, you all are in a dangerous situation," said the chief going through the records.

"Then what we can do?" asked Liam.

"And Doctor are you sure the person who called you is Senior Alexander's doctor?" I asked.

"yes, he called from his number itself," the doctor looked worried.

"The problem is no one apart from us, you all, and the teams, I haven't informed to anyone else. Because I was worried about the safety," explained Liam.

"Can I have the number so we can get it checked and the time you got the call?" asked Alex.

"Yes sure,"

While he jotted them down, the chief looked at us.

"We'll see his stats in the evening and if they are stable as now, we'll secretly get him moved to the restricted area,"

"Thank you, doctor,"

In the night we all got together at the hospital. Maverick's condition was stable but we planned to create a scene of an emergency and then transfer him to the restricted area. Which we got done within an hour.

And for the phone call. The call was actually given by the family physician but how he got to know about this situation was a mystery, as we were unable to contact him after this. With this happening, Liam sends his security to check on the doctor.

They had found the doctor tied up in his garage after the call was made and his mobile was smashed into pieces. We were unable to get any details on what happened as he was in a state of shock and was not clear-headed.

Sarah called me to inform me that Meg's parents have arrived. So Alex and I excused ourselves and left home with our team. Even though Sarah's parents were able to handle what was happening, Meg's parents were worried. So I asked my father and Alex's dad to clam them and explain what is going on till we young ones got together to make dinner.
