"You go to her, I will call the Doctor," said Alex.

"HI, don't get up, lie down," I said to her while motioning Paul and the Captrain to take a seat.

"Ben, those people.."

"Shh... they are not here... "

"But..."

"I am here with you. No one can harm you ok,"

The doctor came with Alex. After checking her, he told it seemed she is being traumatized from the incident. And she will need some time to adjust back to her normal life. He also advised slowly introducing herself to the life she used.

Alex gave the news to our parents and Meg but advised them to not visit her for the time being. The doctors did a thorough checkup on her during the day with several tests and came up with a conclusion that nothing bad had happened except the bruising on her hands and the headaches, which occur when she tries to remember things.

I took her home after a week. But the doctor had advised her to rest for the coming week to recover. But Sarah had been insisting on, checking how the designs progress.

"Honey, can I go to the office with you?"

"Sarah, you know the doctor advised you to rest,"

"But I want to check my work,"

I know there's no way I can say no to her, so I hugged and held her tight for a while before I said ok. So I called Alex and arranged a time and the team to be ready to meet her.

The next day I arrived at the office with Sarah. The first thing I saw was the paparazzi flocking in front of the entrance. So I asked Markus to drive us from the back. Well, we fooled the paps by sending Alex and Meg in my car.

"I think you all remember the incident that happened a few days ago," I heard Alex address the media outside as we entered. "Mrs.Clifford and her condition can worse with all of you guys flocking around her. She is still in her recovery period, so I hope you will have the decency to respect her privacy and let them mind their family time,"

"If any of you are going to disturb her and if it triggers her condition, I will be the one who personally contacts the police on behalf of her," said Meg before coming in with Alex.

"Alex,"

"Hmm"

"Do you think who gave them the tip?"

"We will find out in a while," said Alex going to his office room with Meg.

I took Sarah to the team, to go through the work. But I was also skeptical about her having a rest after two hours. While Alex and Meg went about finding who leaked the news.

"So you must be Gwen?" asked Alex.

"Yes sir,"

"How long have you been with us?"

"About two years and I work in the project management team,"

With that Alex asked the project management team head to come in.

"Can you summarize her contribution to the company in the past?"

"Sir, she has been helping out with the team with the projects. She is the ...."

"Oh yes you were the one who almost cause a big mistake in the contract is it?" asked Alex.

"Yes sir," said the team head.

"Hmm... and may I know why you spread the news of Sarah's coming to the office to the media?"

"What did you do?" asked the head almost shocked.

"I didn't do such a thing, sir"

"Are you so sure? or Do you want me to show you evidence?"

At that moment, Alex showed two videos. One - when she was listening to the briefing Alex was doing earlier that day. Second - she immediately called someone to give out the news. The third was a call recording of Alex confronting a reporter named Karl, who admitted that Gwen gave the information in exchange for one hundred thousand dollars.

"So why did you need this money?" asked Meg.

"I have to pay up for my son's medication, who is in hospital," she said.

"You could have asked the company to help you out, but why didn't you?"

"I... hmm.."

"It's ok, I know you are telling the truth. But what you did was wrong. And we know your son has to go through surgery. As a company, we will pay up the operation and the aftercare fee for your son, but you will be dismissed from your post, and the company affecting from now," said Alex.

Gwen had no choice but to leave as instructed. But she was thankful for their help for her son's surgery. The only thing she didn't know was that she won't be able to get a similar job in that city again.

On the next floor,

"Ok, thank you, everyone, I hope you all are happy with the outcome?" I asked the team gathered.

"Yes sir,"

"Sarah, are you satisfied?"

"Yes, I am happy with the progress. And I am sorry I couldn't be of much help due to this situation,"

"It's ok Mama. We wish you will come back soon, so please take care of your health first," said Anthony.

With that, we dismissed the meeting after four hours.

"So what's the news?" I asked Alex.

"Done and dusted,"

"Ok, then let's head home so you can relax a little," I said looking at Sarah.

"Hmm, Ben, I booked a private dining room for Noah's brother. Well, he actually invited us after hearing the news,"

"Honey,"

"It's ok Ben, we'll go there, if not it's not nice since he's doing it with good intentions,"

With that, we all head to the Restaurant that was placed near the lake. A place with scenic views, and relaxation.
