Chapter 2 beginning

Shade and his mother at the party later that day.

Everyone at the party were enjoying themselves by forming different groups, the music was quite nice and calm, the food didnt taste that bad either. It was a wedding party so everyone was in a pretty good mood.

Meanwhile Shade is just sitting in the corner...

"You are sitting alone all by yourself again.. Remember i told you that i would introduce you to someone today? Come with me"

They both walk up to a gentle man wearing a navy blue coat, he was slightly bearded and looked the same age as Shades mom

"Hello uncle Conan." Says Shade with a light tone.

"Hey! you must be Shade." Says Conan while doing a handshake with Shade.

"Yes I am Shade, Its nice to meet you."

"Its nice to meet you too Shade."

They both chat around for a little and then..

"Shade, I heard you recently graduated from high school."

"Yeah that's right, I did."

"Since you are not busy these days.. I was wondering if you could come work at one of my restaurants, its kind of near your apartment building."

Shade smiles nervously while looking at his mom.

"Give me some time to discuss this with my mom first."

"Of course, take as much time as you need."

Shade and his mother Jenny starts walking.

"What the hell mom? you never said i would have to work at a restaurant."

"You are 16 already and since you are done with your school it would be great to build up some skills while you wait for your college."

"You are right but i thought i would get some time to spare~" Says Shade with a lazy tone.

"Well, you will get breaks time to time, your uncle said that he will make sure that the manager doesn't over work you so rest assured and some extra money for yourself doesnt hurt either you know. working at a restaurant might improve your social interaction with other people- "

"Okay Okay ill do it, jeez."

"Ill go discuss rest of the matter with Conan then"

"Alright"

Shades mother Jenny starts chatting with his friend Conan.

After the party they come home.

Shade rushes to his room and drops on his bed.

"Man I am worn out, these parties are really tiring if anything"

Shade falls asleep after that.
