It has been 24 hours ever since my departure to an unknown universe. At first, it does not look much different than my own. But alas, we obviously cannot see the entire continuum at once, despite my senses. We, the Etherians, were blessed with the capacity to perceive something a planetary distance away, and we can "breathe" anywhere within a universe, including the inside of black holes. But this is of no relevance now.

On this spaceship, which I had the liberty to call APOLLO, lies a peculiar artificial intelligence. It seems I am actually not alone in this journey. The AI calls itself SHARP, it seems intelligent enough to hold a casual conversation, and it possesses high analytical capabilities.

My spaceship currently has 10^3 kg of fuel. It will do for some weeks. The ship is also equipped with some weaponry that should leave me of any trouble that isn't a Hex.

My body is well-fed and there is a significant amount of supplies, for now. Even if the supply ends, I'd still have 1 month before suffering from starvation.

Now, I shall discover what to do with this.

From a box inside the spaceship, I put out an arm of a deceased Hex. It's still fresh and doesn't look like it will rot anytime soon. Or rather, it seems to be entirely artificial and not organic, to begin with.

I obtained it on the battlefield while I fought alongside my brothers and sisters. We did not win, but mighty was our will to take down at least some of them.

The arm radiates an eerie aura and presence which darkens its surroundings, and it's radioactive. Indeed, right after the Hex crossed into our world, we received massive signs of hawking radiation and antimatter components. My spaceship, for the record, is also powered by antimatter.

For now, I shall store the arm inside a Warp Cube. This cube, which is around 3 cm, can turn objects into data and store them inside itself, and later return them to reality intact whenever the user wants. It will come in handy in the space out there.

After some minutes, my spaceship detected a planet with active lifeforms at 5 astronomical units away. I got to the control panel and commanded the ship to navigate until there. It'll reach it in 5 minutes.

Now, I wait.
