Over my dead body

Ask sinister.

Ask sinister.

Those words kept ringing in my head all through the night that I could barely sleep. How do I ask that son of a buffalo for an answer when he hated me to the core?

I stood up and made my way to the Library to maybe read a book and clear my head. Getting there, no one was around the room. Thank God!

Because I couldn't stand to look at any of them.

I dragged my fingers through the bookshelf with my eyes tracing the books. Life in space, this could be interesting. I took the book and as I was about to turn, my elbow hit the side of the shelf and something fell out.

Good Lord!

Is that…. A gun?

My body froze in utter fear staring at what fell. I couldn't believe it. With a shaking hands, I stared at the ice cold gun. I brain shot back to the time I was taken and how they had killed that guy without remorse.

Where was I? Oh God I had to get out of this house.

"What a beautiful scene." A voice called out from behind and I froze once more. My heart was beating a more accelerated rate. Am I going to die?

"Seems as though you find the bookshelf to be a world full of chocolates and cakes, no?" His voice continued, sinister.

I turned around, blanketing my nervousness and caution towards him. He took a step towards me and I felt myself shift back. I was scared and I couldn't deny that. Somehow, I could tell he knew I saw the gun, his eyes seemed even darker.

"S-" I couldn't get my words together, even my nerves weren't working at this point.

"Even with staring at the bookshelf for hours, you are still dumb." He smirked. Moving closer to me.

Taking another step back, my back hit against the wall and I dropped the book in my hand. He stopped to the ground where the book was and instead of going for the book, his fingers brushed on my leg. It sent the most electrifying tingly throughout my body. I wanted to kick him away but I couldn't. I was frozen, unsure of how to respond physically nor mentally to this. His lips suddenly graced softly against the warm part of my calf while he muttered something in Russian with a kiss. And it wasn't helping that his facial hair rubbed pleasurably against my untouchable skin. His hands slowly walked up to my leg tauntingly as it found its way to my hip. Keeping his hands there, he rose towering above me as I tightened my hands.

"Look at me zaychik."

I didn't.

"Look at me." He stated again, this time in a rough time of voice.

Forcefully, I opened my eyes to stared at the Adam ehose lips were stapled in a thin straight line and a facial expression as hard yet beautiful as a diamond.

I didn't know where I got the strength from, but I found my soft aching voice somehow," what do you want?"

Almost as if he was awaiting that question, the edge of his lips formed a wicked curve, " The same thing you want Suka."

"W-what?" I asked in a sore voice.

I suddenly felt a cold metal at the side of my neck. He pressed the gun hard against my skin and whispered in that soft beautiful voice, "How about we make a deal Becca?"

"It's Becky!" I growled at him.

"I don't care." I tried to get away from him but I couldn't. This Adam was a solid, hard core rock on top of me.

"Don't move," he frowned, " I don't want to kill you yet."

God. I've been living under the same roof with monsters.

With a sigh, I stopped and stared right into his deep blue eyes, " What kind of deal do you want from me?"

"Your brother- you want to find him and so do I." His voice seemed to turn into a murderous kind of tone.

"But I don't understand, what does my brother have to do with you? Why do you want to find him?"

"For someone who has a gun aimed at her head, you sure are sweet enough to ask so many questions. Do you want me to blow your pretty brains out?" He sneered, "Dont act like a four year old."

"Do I look like a four year old?" I sassed a little too boldly.

"Well, why don't you take your clothes off and I'll be the judge of that." He grinned wickedness as he released me and took a step back.

The arrogant devil.

Did he really say that? What the hell.

"You didn't answer me," I continued.

"I answer to no one angel. Know your limits with me."

A sudden rush of logic rushed over me. This Adam was right . He was dangerous, and if he didn't need something from me he wouldn't have saved me from those masked men.

Maybe I was a fool to his game.

"That shitty brother of yours had the guts to run away without repaying me, miss Becca."

"It's Becky!"

"I still don't care."

" I don't see how I should be involved in your deal with my brother." I screamed at him.

"Fool, don't the same blood flow in your vein? If that wasn't so, you would have been nonexistent by now." He gave me a glare, "Son-of-a-bitch sabotaged a deal, broke the code and took for the hills after that."

"I still don't see how I can be involved in that," I tried to reason, " If anything, I'm still in search of him. I came here mainly to find him!"

With his gaze burning on me, he slowly curved the edge of his lips upward, as though attempting a smile?

"Sweetheart, you are going to help me find him faster. "

What?!

He wants to lure my brother out using me?

"You want me to help you find my brother so that you can kill him?" I arched my eyebrow," over my dead body."

"That can be arranged." He quickly retorted.
