Chapter-8

Y/n went to Kaya and told her of what happened and showed him a knocked out Jango. She was relieved and wanted to go back to Usopp was. Y/n stopped her though. If she went back there now, Kuro might use her as a hostage. She couldn't take that chance. So she took Kaya and the children back to the mansion. After this she went back to the slope.

She met up with Usopp and Zoro on her way there so she told what happened. They seemed relieved and tired, so she told them to go to the mansion where Kaya and the kids and rest up. They obliged and went back there.

Luffy had defeated Clahador.

"TO THE NEW SHIP AND NEW CREWMATE!!! CHEERS!!!!!"-Everyone

"Alright!!! Our pirate flag is done!!!!"-Luffy

Everyone just sweat dropped at Luffy's drawing and Usopp volunteered to do it for them.

"You completely changed the symbol!"-Zoro, Y/n and Luffy

Soon the flag was finished. It turned out great with Usopp's drawing skills. Luffy then decided it would be a good time to test out the canon. He couldn't get it to aim at where he wanted so Usopp decided he would give it a try as well. He hit the rock on the first try. The group headed inside and discussed about the other important position on the ship that they'd need to fill in.

"... A musician!"-Luffy

"ARE YOU RETARDED?!"

"AND HERE I THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO SAY SOMETHING SMART FOR ONCE!"

"DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT IT'S LIKE SAILING ON THESE SEAS?!"

"B-but a pirate's gotta sing!"

Suddenly, Johnny came with a sword in hand and started to wreck the ship. He seemed pissed but Luffy instantly defeated him. When he saw Zoro he told him how Yosaku was sick and it only seemed to get worse. Nami then came in the scene and told Luffy and Usopp to bring limes from the kitchen.

"Limes...?"

"He's afflicted with Scurvy. If we're not too late he'll be fine in a few days or so."-Y/n

"ARE YOU TELLING THE TRUTH SIS?!"-Johnny

Nami then went on to explain how in the past it was basically a death sentence for sailors and how it would be the cause of lack of nutrition. The crew then discussed about how important a chef when you're out in the sea.

"There's a restaurant on the sea around here that we could go check out. Although recruiting one of them would be quite hard. It's name is Baratie."-Y/n

The crew headed for the restaurant located on the sea. They found themselves right next to a marine ship and the brothers went to attack the lieutenant because of his insults. They were beaten quite easily. Some bounty posters slipped out from their pockets. Y/n only needed to glance at Nami to find out what was going on. She saw Arlong's poster. Y/n was very angry but remained calm on the outside. She knew her suffering would end soon so she kept herself from doing anything and just stood still.

Y/n hopped off the ship saying she was going to get some food and went inside. She saw a bloodied Lieutenant in Sanji's hands. She was fangirling quite hard on the inside but kept up a poker face. Soon things became a mess especially after Luffy joined.

Suddenly, Don Krieg's underling came and demanded for food. Since he had no money Patty crushed him with just his fists. He was kicked out but Sanji went to feed him anyway.

"Looks like I found a good cook!"-Luffy

"Damn right you did. You'd better bring him back with us!"-Y/n

"Heh, sure!"-Luffy
