A week later,

Jimin had woken up with a smile on his face as he wasn't having any nightmare about the basement nor Sunmi had appeared since the day she had attacked Mr. And Mrs. Kim.

He stretched his body before looking at the clock rubbed his eyes to clear his vision.

"Good morning Jimin," Chaerin greeted entered the room put the cup of coffee on the table near his bed. She took off the blinds and the sunlight streamed through the window made her pounder when she saw Jimin cuddling in the blanket as the sunlight was kissing his glowing honey skin and he was looking like an angel who came from heaven.

She made herself sit beside him pulled the blanket from his face and let the sunlight touch his bare face again, "You should have wake up now it's already noon Jimin" Chaerin said.

"I want to sleep more I don't even remember when the last time I had a good sleep like this," Jimin crooned. His eyes met with hers as soon he opened them and for the very first time, his heart was beating faster. "Did you sleep well," He asked in a slow smoky voice?

"Of course I did," Chaerin shortly replied. She extended her hand towards his hair caressed her long fingers in his soft messy hair. A beaming smile appeared on the corner of his lips and he hold her got up on his bed. "Thank you Chaerin," He said, still holding her hand.

"Thanks for what?" Chaerin asked surprisingly.

"For being on my side I don't know what would I've done without you," Jimin said his voice was filled with pain his eyes were exposing his feelings. "Jimin I will always be on your side because I," Chaerin was stopped in the mid while Jimin wasn't able to look in her eyes, and the room was filled with the awkward silence, "I love you so much Jimin, I can go against my parents but I can't see you in pain, You're my biggest weakness," Chaerin said caressed her hand on his cheek.

Jimin was feeling guilty for not having desires for her but deep down he knew how much he would love her. However, something had changed in him her touch was soothing her confession sounded so beautiful to his ears. He had never imagined that one day he would be able to be loved by someone as he had never seen himself as a guy who should fall in love with someone.

With the vague smile on his face, Jimin cupped her face and put his soft plump lips on her forehead. Chaerin felt goosebumps her entire body reacted to his peck she was glad as being this close to him had been a dream for her since she was just fifteen years old but the time never allowed them to cross the limits but today it was like breaking the wall their fate and the time had created amid them.

"Oh how can I forget about that," Chaerin said detached herself from him she rashly got up from the bed and opened the drawers.

"What happened?" Jimin asked wondering the reason for her sudden act.

"I had to dress your wound first and then you have to take your medicines," Chaerin said taking out the first aid box from the drawers.

"I'm perfectly fine you don't need to worry about me," Jimin replied tired to stop her but Chaerin was a stubborn girl who was unbeatable.

"Shh, I didn't ask you if you're alright or not you have to follow my orders," Chaerin said putting her pointer finger on his lips, "and why I shouldn't worry about you, Your hand is fractured and you're in pain and you need your medicine on time," Chaerin continued to scold Jimin while he was looking at her with his eyes filled with love and passion for her. "Okay Ms. Chaerin I will follow your order," Jimin said. Chuckled lightly.

Chaerin took out cotton and put the ointment on his neck, "Stop getting hurt again and again," She said exhaling a cold breath on his wound to save him from burning sensation. Jimin could hear every throb of his heart echoing in his ears. He took a deep breath to feel her sweet caramel cologne. Her warm breath was brushing his neck and every touch of her was so soothing for him.

"You guys are already looking like a married couple" It was Taehyung who had interrupted them. He entered the room with a smirk on his face grabbed the cup of coffee from the table and threw himself on the couch placed in front of the bed.

Chaerin detached herself, Jimin cleared his throat in nervousness, "It's nothing like that Jimin needed someone to dress his wound so I came here to help him," Chaerin said once again she shifted her attention on Jimin, "Did–did you took your medicines?" She asked while stuttering.

"No, I–I didn't take my medicines," Jimin replied he was too nervous to look at Taehyung while Taehyung was smirking as he was having the best moment of his life, "Like I don't know anything," Taehyung said took a small sip from the cup he clenched his teeth as he hated the taste.

"You will never change Tae," Chaerin threw a cushion on him but Taehyung rescued himself through his elbow burst out in a laugh. "No, I won't," He said in a baby voice.

"why you're drinking that coffee when you don't like it?" Jimin asked trying to change the topic as he was blushing his cheek were turned in a rosy shade and he was shyly smiling.

"Jungkook, like the coffee so much so I'm trying to make my habit," Taehyung said winked at her. "Oh yes, I had something to tell you," Taehyung resumed.

"What is it? you looked excited" Jimin asked as he observed Taehyung's twinkling eyes. He got up from the bed as his dressing had completed he now headed towards the wardrobe.

"I have two good news, first Jungkook came to know something about Sunmi and Dad allowed you to join the company," Taehyung said his lips moved in a wide smile as he was glad that finally, Jimin was going to join the company Chaerin was Surprisingly staring at Taehyung while Jimin was shocked after hearing the sudden step by Mr. Kim he couldn't understand should he celebrate the news or should he get afraid. "But Taehyung I don't know anything about business," Jimin said hesitantly.

"Taehyung will teach you everything and Jin Oppa Namjoon Oppa will be there as well, They will help you to learn everything Jimin it's a great opportunity for you don't miss that chance," Chaerin said in excitement.

"What you're thinking about you're joining the company since today," Taehyung said pushed him towards the restroom. "Go get yourself fresh," He said. Jimin went to the restroom without having any further argument as Taehyung was happy and he didn't want to ruin his mood.

"But Tae he can't even move his hand he needs to rest at least for two more weeks," Chaerin showed her concern for Jimin. She was happy that finally, Jimin was going to join the company as he deserved but she was worried as his hand was still fractured.

"Dad finally gives his permission and he should join today so that he could prove him he's determined to work," Taehyung said, "I want him to take his company back and for that, he has to prove himself," He resumed.

"But he's already disturbed I don't think he's able to take this much pressure," Chaerin said crossing her hands around her chest she sighed in worry.

Taehyung patted her head, "I know you're worried for him but don't worry I will take care of him okay," Taehyung said he was about to leave the room when Jimin's phone ring made him stop at the doorway.

"Hello..." Chaerin rashly picked up the phone but there was a feel silence on the other side.

"Are you not going to speak?" Chaerin said but the person cut the call.

"Weirdo," Chaerin murmured.

"What happened who call him this early and why?" Taehyung asked curiously.

"I don't know nobody answered me," Chaerin said.

"It must be a wrong number then," Taehyung said he then headed to his room while Chaerin walked back towards the wardrobe and took out his clothes for the office she had chosen a grey blazer with matching pants paired with a white shirt and Maroon tie. Once again the phone bell rang again and Chaerin took the phone It was the same number who had called earlier. She picked up the call but once there was a strange silence "If you're not going to talk then why waste our time, crazy jerk?" Chaerin yelled at this time and cut the call.

"What happened?" Jimin asked as he emerged himself out of the restroom.

"Someone is calling you but don't reply when I picked the calls," Chaerin said extending the phone to him. "I think she's might only talk to you" She teased Jimin. "I'm getting blank calls through the different numbers since few days I was thinking to change my number," Jimin said he then switched off his phone.
