SCP Founder in Nasuverse (SCP×Fate)

Secure. Contain. Protect. The SCP foundation's sole purpose is to contain 'anomalies' that pose a threat to humanity. This is a tale of an SCP-fanatic with little to no knowledge of the Nasuverse thrust into Nasuverse (in ancient times of the dinosaurs). ...What can possibly go wrong?

If the 'weakest' member of the O5 council was summoned in the Fourth Fuyuki War (A)

[AN]

[As a dear reader has mentioned, I post this on several fanfiction sites, though since this is the newest/most recently edited one, I recommend you all to read this version of my fic first.]

[PS. From this chapter, new 'sub' main characters/different POVs shall be introduced! I know this might get a mixed response since a new direction is always controversial and all that, but...meh. I'm writing this for fun and self-satisfaction, not for cash as a professional! Hope you enjoy!]

[PS. 2. What technical error?? What do you mean by 3812??]

[PS. 3. New Cover / Image Art (Nanku of the Samsara squad, model from Ghost in the Shell) ]

[WARNING: WATCH OUT FOR COMICAL OVERDOSE IN UPCOMING CHAPTERS. WEEB PROFESSIONALISM IS ADVISED. REMEMBER COMRADES, GOOFINESS IS ZE KEY!]

[Operation Commence]

...

It was inside a dark, dim, yet well-lit room.

In the middle, sat a humungous round table made of polished texture foreign to planet Earth.

13 seats surrounded the round table, with 1 vacant one stowed away in the far corner.

13...existences were evenly seated in a large circle.

Every man or woman, human or non-human sitting at the round table was utterly indistinguishable.

Their faces were shrouded in an almost unnatural shade of black as if a shadowy filter was surrounding their faces, disrupting the cognition of anyone who might see them.

A gigantic panel was lit behind them, with the logo of the three arrows presented proudly on the screen, declaring the unquestionable finality of the Foundation's absolute control.

"We shall begin.", a voice said.

It was O5-1, the Founder and Administrator of the Foundation itself. The Disciplining Father of All Anomalies.

"A Euclid class anomaly has been confirmed. A K-class scenario is imminent, by none other than the magus community itself. The Three Moons Initiative Hub of that world branch has reached out to me, notifying me that it could range from an AK to EK-class end-of-the-world scenario, with the possible materialization of the Soul, bypassing connections with the ROOT, Divine Spiritual Incarnation among other things."

With a wave of his arm, a holographic image appeared above the center of the round table. It was what seemed like a Holy Grail, except that Black Mud was overflowing like an endless tide.

"I named it the Black Grail. The peculiar thing about this anomaly is that it's growing by consumption of the Leylines."

"Well, an artificial tumor. That is mild. We can send one of the Samsara to easily deal with it. Or a team from Red Right Hand.", O5-4 quipped.

"Hmm...soul material and spiritual Incarnation...so that's why the Three Moons found the anomaly first. We need to upgrade our Corbenic detection devices...more reports from the Afterlife Department...again.", O5-11 muttered.

"If I may, dear Founder!", one of the O5 council said. His voice was young, enthusiastic, and cheerful. Only one could act that way.

"Yes, you may.", nodded O5-1. The man, Dr. Bright, smiled.

"I would like to propose this: Please dispatch me with my true physical body! There is a new limited edition figure-I mean, an anomaly of great danger in Fuyuki-05674R!"

"Cabin fever?", O5-2 scoffed. Dr. Bright ignored her, his eyes trained on O5-1's every move. Several seconds passed as the Founder considered the options and Dr. Bright waited with bated breath.

Finally, O5-1 cocked his head to the side.

"You have the utmost confidence in containing this Object?"

"Yes!", Dr. Bright immediately replied. O5-1 nodded.

"Very well. You have my permission."

They smiled at each other.

The exact same smile.

The council started clapping as one.

"Congratulations." said the O5 council.

Then, the clapping stopped.

At the exact same time, with the exact same number of claps.

If a sane person were to stand in their midst, they would have felt a most unexplainable chilling sensation creep up their spine. They were acting like individuals just a few moments ago, and now they were acting as if they were a single entity all along.

Alas, sanity was not a requirement for the council. No sane person could ever sit on its seats for long. After all, human emotions such as empathy, sentimentality, fear, and rage held no importance.

Only SCP Objects.

The council was one entity with one purpose, and loyalty was not a question.

Dr. Bright glanced at the other council members, winked, and gave them a thumbs-up while flashing a small grin.

An incandescent spark bathed the entire room in a white purifying light.

When the darkness returned, Dr. Bright was no longer there.

After a brief pause, O5-1 continued on as if nothing had happened.

"Now, since we finished sending off ...let us process the remaining issues..."

A day in the SCP Foundation is neverending and unrelenting.

As a matter of fact...it was almost as if...

As if it lasts for an eternity.

"From the Seventh Heaven, attended to by three great words of power-"

There was a sensation. A feeling of success, a feeling that cannot be described by words. As if a harbinger of a mighty spirit, an azure bolt of lightning shot out from the magic circle that was said to summon heroes of the dead to this world.

"-Come forth from the ring of restraints, O' Holy Protector of Balance! "

The mana was rapidly being sucked out of his body. As if to compensate for it, the foul insects in his body run rampant, devouring his flesh in a frenzied glee. The torture was so intense that it was difficult to even describe it as pain, so grueling that he came close to death from the sensation alone.

However, the price was certainly worth it. As his consciousness and vision faded, he saw someone standing in front of him. A man, that was not there a moment ago.

"It's a success...!"

That was all he managed to say. Even though he has yet to set foot on the battlefield, his body was already so worn out that he couldn't even twitch.

He planted the palms of his hands onto the floor and desperately tried to stand up, only to fail miserably. As he fell to the ground, his chest slammed against the cold stone floor, knocking out a mouthful of blood from his lungs.

"Hmm...it seems like you indeed succeeded in summoning something..."

Zouken, who has been observing the entire spectacle from behind until now, stepped forward with a sick smile plastered onto his withered pale face. The ancient man glanced at the heroic spirit still hidden in the smoke with a look of scrutiny, then shook his head with a sigh of disappointment.

"I can't feel any power from this thing. A third-rate mage would fare...the fuck?"

At these words, Kariya's mind turned blank for a moment. No way, did he fail? No, the summoning was definitely done. If so, why...?

Wait. Did that old monster just say 'the fuck'?

Kariya forced his face up to look at his servant...

"Hmm...I see. It is true that I am no different from a mere mortal right now. That vermin...his curses still linger upon me, even in death! ...Ahhh, I've always wanted to say this line!"

The summoned hero waved his fist at the air, striking a pose as he glared at the damp cellar ceiling.

The man was dressed in a White trenchcoat fashioned like a lab coat, white pants, and a black domino mask with...sunglasses worn over it.

To top it all off, he wore a cowboy hat with the words: 'I LUV Fuyuki!' etched on it in glittering gold letters.

The glasses suddenly let out an infuriatingly comical DOOT as two air-inflated mustaches popped out from each side of his nose...wait, WERE THOSE FREAKING PARTY GLASSES!?

A domino mask with party glasses. And a lab coat. Aaaand a cowboy hat.

The sheer absurdity of it all was so over the top, Kariya felt like it was some attempt at a psychic attack.

There were a gazillion thoughts running through Kariya's mind at this very moment, the main thing being this;

What the fuck have I summoned?

Foundation Notes:

The O5-Council members are said to reside in the「 」 of their own free will alongside the Founder. Only a waned, diminished, and evanescent shard of their existence is allowed by GAIA to be summoned through the「 」...if they didn't come out themselves.

Evangelion×Cthulhu vibes from the O5 council right there. The summoning to our poor cuck boi Kariya.

R.I.P Makili Zolken. You were an aspiring hero when you were young...

Deja Vu? What Deja Vu? I don't know what you are talking about...anyway, this is the Founder's version of Dr. Bright. Charming, isn't he? Gotta stay groovy if you are immortal.

Likely the last chap for this month, so gimme those lifesaving reviews! Ideas and thoughts are welcome too!
