Part 9:

Calista fidgeted. She was trying to distract herself from being too anxious. "What about Caroline? Does she know?"

Havrey breathed out slowly while holding the vile of life in his hand. "She must never know about this." He whispered. "I don't want to lose her...again."

Harvey faced NIle's frozen body and closed his eyes.

He starts to mutter the ritual of life, the spell that will revive him once more but not just a siren but also an immortal one.

The blue light rises from the vile and slowly makes its way to Nile's heart. Calista watches carefully as the event unfolds since she's never seen it before. She was holding back her tears knowing she'll get to see him smile again.

harvey's eyes flashed in a light purple color as the ice begins to break. The humming from his chant started to get louder and ice was circling around him

The ice breaks off and blue light surrounded Nile as it was like he was being picked up by it. His body slowly falls to the sand beneath them and Harvey closes his eyes to finish the spell with a snap of a finger.

Nile grunted as he tries to push himself off the ground. Calista covered her gaping mouth, realizing that Nile is now alive and well.

"Nile!" Callista called out as she helped him up on his fins.

Niel narrows his eyes to see both Calista and Destiny.

Niel furrows his brows. "Destiny? Calista? How...how long was I out?" Niel slowly gets his strength back as he is now an immortal. "How did I not die...from...that war?" Niel swam to Calista and put a hand on her cheek. "Calista, you're as beautiful as ever."

Destiny cleared his throat as Calista's tears started to stream away to the waters around them. "Nile...I have to tell you something."

Calista hugged Nile but nodded. "We...have something to say."

Nile's face grew with worry. "What happend? Did..we lose?"

Destiny shook his head with a smile. "We won..."

Nile looked confused. "Then...what is it?"

Calista looked at Destiny, urging him to say it.

Destiny put a hand on Nile's shoulder and smiled gently. "You're now an immortal."

Nile's eyes widen in shock. "You mean...I died? And you brought me back to life?"

Calista started to worry about what he might think of Destiny. She held Nile's hands. "Nile...I was too heartbroken. I wanted to see you again...and be with you."

Nile looked at Calista with sadness and then remembered something that made his eyes go wide in realization.

Nile turn to look at Destiny and asked in terror. "Who's life essence did you take?"

Destiny turned to look at Calista. "I'll leave you two. I need to get Caroline for the ceremony."

"Ceremony?" Nile asked as Destiny began to swim to the surface. "What Ceremony?" he turned to look at Calista with so much worry. "Callista...who died?"

Calista was now nervous. She gulped and told him the truth. "The queen."

NIle nodded and placed his head on his hands. "How did she die?"

Calista knew that lying wouldn't solve anythng. It would make things worse if she didn't tell him the truth He wouldn't trust her anymore if she did. She sighed. "I poisoned her."

Nile looked at Calista with disappointment. "It wasn't even natural causes?" Nile held Calista's shoulders firmly. "Calista do you know what happens if when the queen is kiled? What will happen to the siren kingdom? The sea? To us?"

Calista shakes with nervousness but tries to calm Nile down. "Don't worry, Nile. Destiny already has a bride and they only nee the song of the sea to keep things in the ocean in balance. The problem of the siren kingdom won't be a big deal."

Nile huffed. "Calista...I love you so much...but you need to take responsibility of the consequences that will happen. Don't worry, I'll be here t help you. I just want you to stand up if the royal family comes looking for the culprit."

Calista nodded. She lifted up her head and tries to lighten the mood up. "Come one. we need to get you ready for the ceremony,"

Nile still in confusion asks "What ceremony?"

calista smiles. "The choosing of the new Song of the Sea."

Nile froze. "You mean...Alice died?"

Calista nodded.

Nile sadly nodded. "and I'll be the new Song of the Sea?"

Calista nodded as she tugs him to the place where the ceremony will be held.
