"Who are you?" Caroline felt her heart break. She felt hurt, betrayed, pain, and anger towards the man in front of her. "Who...are you?" Her voice started to break. The man sighed deeply. He stared into the eyes of the person he loved the most in his life and whispered. "I am your Harvey-" Caroline pushed him but failed to make him budge. "Harvey would not lie to me this much." every word was filled with hurt. The man held her in a tight hug that prevented her to escape from his arms. "I have relied on you for so long. I followed what you said and learned everything that I know." She sobbed. "You know me...but I do not know you." The man held her even tighter. "I am still the one who loves you with all my life. Please, don't leave me." She felt helpless. "Was I just a doll that you carry around? Was I a toy that you groomed and played with?" She gritted her teeth. "Was I just your little doll?" She whispered in disbelief to her own realization. "A little doll that you toyed with." The man shook his head as he hugged her even tighter. Meanwhile in the depth of the oceans, a war is brewing and a new heir will rise. A young merman named Kosair roams the human world to stay away from his duties. However, as the war draws near and threatens the whole ocean, it triggers a fire inside him. As it is written by Destiny, he'll fulfill the role as the heir and fight for the ocean and its people. As they find each other, Destiny intervenes. Who's Destiny? The sirens tried to find his identity for centuries and finally, will they be able to find him? Part 10

Caroline's POV

I wake up to Harvey placing butterfly kisses on my face. "Stooopppp"

Harvey chuckles and effortlessly picks me up, taking me somehwere. Eventually I start to fall asleep and then after a few minutes, I was dumped into a body of water.

I opened my eyes and it was the sea. HARVEY!

I transformed my legs into my tail and see Harvey smirking, trying not to laugh.

"Hmph!" I turned my back towards him and swam to the open ocean.

I could hear Harvey laughing as he tries to catch up with me.

Damn Bastard. Can't leave me to sleep in peace.

Harvey took my hand and we went to a coral field full of colorful sea life and at the center was a circle filled with glowing marble. I assume its his doing.

"Caroline...it's nice to see you again."

I hear Earth Siren and I look up to greet her and then saw another person with her. "Hello Earth siren...and..."

I turn to lok at Harvey with a 'help me' glance.

Harvey noticed and smiled at me. "That is our new Song of the Sea."

I look at him with beaming eyes. Finally! I quickly swam up to him to give him a big hug., "Oh thank you! You don't know how much your presence is! Finally!"

I hear Harvey clear out his throat behind me.

I break away from him and bowed at the siren. "Sorry...I assume you're the siren Earth siren was always talking about." I looked at Earth Siren with a grin and her face flushed and turned red.

"This is NIle." was the only sentence she could say.

The Siren could only laugh at the tension that was happening.

We went to the circle of marble and everyone was at their places.

at the center was Nile and facing him was me and Harvey. Earth siren could only watch at the side because it would not work if she'd be inside the circle.

Harvey held my hand tightly as I examined Nile's face. Why does he look younger than Earth Siren?

Harvey bit my earlobe and I glared at him. "What was that for?" I hissed.

Harvey looked away. "Hugging other men in front of me."

I laugh in the inside. "I never saw you this jealous before."

Harvey growled. "Intense training near Mariana trench, agility and swimming against the tide for ten hours."

My mouth opened. "hey wait a second'"

"Let the ceremony begin." Harvey said in a loud voice and held my hand in his. I rolled my eyes at him and see Earth siren shake her head with laughter.

"Song of the Sea..." Harvey leaned into my ear. "Get ready for this one. I owe you big time." his purple eyes start to glow. "The Song...of the sea." He started to sing.

"What do you mean-" My body stiffened and I closed my eyes. I feel the life essence emit from my body and opened my eyes to see Nile surrounded by white clouds.

Unconsciiously, I began to sing. It was not forced. it felt right...like I have to do it for the ocean.

I humm the tune and the song started to come out of my mouth.

"Melody in the depths of the ocean...

flooded my heart and soul

The call and the tide beckon

to the song

of the sea"

Nile's bpdy began to shine and light ebedded his skin like a beautiful tattoo. His eyes watched me with respect.

I continue.

"La la la...la la...la la

La la la...la la...la la

I command you to listen

The song of the siren

the call of the sea..."

I suddenly felt weak and I see Nile emit a powerful aura and sang the last line of the song.

"The Song of the Sea."

I body fell limp and immediately Harvey caught me in his arms. "Thank you, my love. We now have the Song of the Sea."

I smile softly, closing my eyes.

Earth Siren comes to the marbled circle with a big smile. "Song of the Sea." she addressed Nile.

Nile bowed at the greeting. He turned to look at Caroline with worry. "The transfer of power was so strong. Is she alright?"

"Who do you care, punk?" He aggressively answered. NIle laughed, they were the best of friends and he never saw Destiny get jealous or possessive of a person before.
