Part 68:

Caroline's POV

I smiled as I carefully boarded on the plane. The stewardesses of Harvey's private jet were very careful and genuinely friendly. The pilot welcomed me at the door of the plane and I made my way to the window seat of the jet.

I looked around the airport and see other families go to their plane and board. I fastened my seatbelts and wrapped a fluffy blanket the cabin crew gave me.

"The boss is here!" one of the crew whispered as they obediently fall in line. I smiled as Harvey comes into view and bows respectfully at the pilot and at the crew. He looked at me with a sad smile at sat at the opposite row of the jet.

I looked at him in confusion as he stares blankly out the window.

I took off my fluffy blanket and went to the other side of the jet and sat next to him. I tried to touch his hand but he avoided my touch.

"Since when did you become the moody girl in this relationship?" I tried to joke but he looked at me with another sad smile.

He sighed. "I just didn't want you to feel uncomfortable. I'm...a guys after all."

"Aww don't be like that." I said as I hugged him.

He shook his head as he finally let's me hug him. "I failed you. I promised you before that no one would ever do that to you ever again."

"You saved, Harvey. That's all that matters. You siren boy saved me." I said as I leaned on his shoulder.

He finally smiled genuinely and wrapped an arm around my shoulder. "It's Destiny."

"Of course, siren boy."

He laughed.

The crew announced that we are about to take flight and Harvey fastened my seatbelts for me.

I smiled as we take flight. I glanced at the view outside one last time before I closed the window with the cover.

I hope that when we move in to the other country, we would have a fresh start.

Just a few hours from now, I'll change my life to a better one.
