Part 67:

I closed my eyes as tight as I could as everything around me was so quiet. a piece of cloth was wrapped around me and I was picked up from the ground. I thrashed against the person carrying me as my hands and feet were still bound.

The echoes of his footsteps and my crying were the only audible sounds int his area.

From what seemed like forever, I was set on a bed and the bounds of my feet and hands were cut off. My eyes were still closed and the gag on my mouth was taken off.

I yelled and cried as I backed to the corner of the bed, hugging myself and shielding myself.

I start to cry louder when somebody wrapped his arms around my waist. I try to scratch them away as I scream and and cry. I tried to hit the person as hard as I can but I gave up and slumped my body to the corner and the person hugged me tighter.

I cried until I couldn't cry anymore and when I opened my mouth, no sound would come out from me but only tears were streaming from my still shut eyes.

I put a hand on my face as I feel disappointed in myself. I froze when a heard sobbing from the person who hugged me.

His soft cries were audible and his hold around me never loosened.

At that second, I realized it was Harvey.

AI soflty opened my eyes to see Harvey's arms wrapped around me and he is sobbing uncontrollably against my back.

"Harvey...Harvey...Harvey." I whispered his name over and over again. His grip loosened and I turned around to hug him tightly. "Harvey" I said his name over and over again as I hugged him tightly.

His broken hearted sobs broke my heart as he whispers over and over again. "I'm sorry..." He repeated over and over again. "I'm sorry." He repeated over and over and over again. "I'M SORRY." Hecried as he hugged me like it would be it last time.

Now, he was the one screaming and crying in pain. This time, it was his broken heart.

The doctor sighed as the long beeping sound came. He looked at his watch. "Time of death, 12:47 am." He said as he looked at the nurses in the room. "Prepare to bring Christian Joey to the morgue."

______________

Kole takes Kosair into a room where they were far away from the queen's guest.

Kosair looked at Kole with worry. "What is it?"

Kole whispered into Kosair's ear.

Kosair froze on hearing what his brother just said to him. He looked at Kole with anger. "Is this true? Kole...tell me you're lying."

Kole whispered. "It was a close call...but help came just in time before she was-"

"Don't say it." Koair said as he brought his shaking hand up to stop Kole from saying that word. "Just...tell me...who saved her."

Kole pressed his lips together. "Harvey-"

Kosair interrupted him with a laugh. "Of course it would be Destiny!" He laughed hysterically as he threw the speaker on his armor to the wall. The force of Kosair's throw was so strong that it pierced through the ivory marble wall despite the drag of the water around them. "She's safe...isn't she?"

Kole nodded. "I made sure of that. I also made sure that Christian Joey would be revived at the hospital."

Kosair looked at his brother with no emotion left in his eyes. "Kole...get his body in the morgue and feed him to the great whites off the coast or the Mariana. They're hungry."
