Part 58: Then

After a short while, Olivia carefully snuck out of Caroline's property and retreated back to the Siren Palace where the Earth siren and Malnivero were waiting for her.

The Earth siren observed the queen's tiredness and asked her. "What happened?"

Olivia shook her head. "I did it. It was a matter time too since I almost got caught by Destiny." She tries to catch her breath. "When he arrived, I hid nearby. He got upset and my heart stopped for a full minute."

Malnivero nodded. "That must've been very tough to endure. A normal siren would've died on the spot." He glanced to look at the queen. "Best to visit your son tomorrow, by the way...he's not doing well."

Olivia raised her head with fear. "What? I thought I did it all correct?" She started to panic but Malnivero calmed her down.

"No, not that. He's...just not taking it well." Malnivero sighed. "He felt the bond disappear."

The Earth siren shook her head. "Tsk. tsk. poor boy. Destiny is cruel on him."

Olivia frowned in guilt. "I'll talk to Kosair..." she took a deep breath as she left the room, leaving Malnivero and the Earth Siren.

Malnivero sighed as he looked at the Earth Siren. "I feel bad for the prince. I understand Destiny but-"

Galleria, the Earth Siren, smirks. "That what she gets. Destiny will be the victor in this event and I will help him be just that."

Malnivero sighed. "It's been twenty years, Galleria. Is there still great hatred in your heart til this day?"

The Earth Siren nodded. "My furry will burn eternal. Soon, I will see their family cry and crumble apart. This kingdom will go down like Destiny's old friends."

Malnivero frowned as he looked at her. "You know that Destiny doesn't want to hear that. He loved that old kingdom. It's just unfortunate that they went into war-"

"Murder!" Galleria said through gritted teeth. "Not only did they murder the whole kingdom of Oceanica, they killed our family!" Galleria's tears of gold start to flow through the waters around them. Her golden tears are tears of great love and emotion. "Poor Destiny and I were in tears when we saw the ruins. My poor prince was at the gates crushed by a boulder. Poor Destiny's friends and adoptive mother were found stabbed to death in their houses."

Malnivero signals her to keep her voice down. "Please, Galleria. It's okay to be upset. Let's just take this somewhere else." He calmly takes her outside the palace. "Let's race a swordfish like the old times."

As they swim to the open ocean, a golden tears were trailing them as Galleria continued to cry. She will never forget the love of her prince.

A bright smile greeted Galleria as she enters the palace. His warm brown hair was unruly but she found it cute.

Galleria bowed in respect. "Your highness, I brought what you asked me."
