SAVE ME, SIREN!

"Who are you?" Caroline felt her heart break. She felt hurt, betrayed, pain, and anger towards the man in front of her. "Who...are you?" Her voice started to break. The man sighed deeply. He stared into the eyes of the person he loved the most in his life and whispered. "I am your Harvey-" Caroline pushed him but failed to make him budge. "Harvey would not lie to me this much." every word was filled with hurt. The man held her in a tight hug that prevented her to escape from his arms. "I have relied on you for so long. I followed what you said and learned everything that I know." She sobbed. "You know me...but I do not know you." The man held her even tighter. "I am still the one who loves you with all my life. Please, don't leave me." She felt helpless. "Was I just a doll that you carry around? Was I a toy that you groomed and played with?" She gritted her teeth. "Was I just your little doll?" She whispered in disbelief to her own realization. "A little doll that you toyed with." The man shook his head as he hugged her even tighter. Part 27: Abilities

Kosair took my hand and led me to a small abandoned hut and sat me down. "Royal siren family members have special abilities that are granted if and only if they have royal blood running in their veins." Kosair started. "In this case, Kole can create and manipulate sound waves."

"It causes to lose your senses for a bit?" I questioned.

"It makes us sirens disoriented and if Kole wanted to, he could've hypnotized us or caused us serious harm like damaging eardrums and permanent brain damage." Kosair finished.

I fiddled with my hands. "What's the rest of you guys' abilities?" I asked, seeing him visibly sigh deeply and looked at the horizon.

Kosair answered. "My father has the ability to control all sea life to his command to the extent that he can create an army of both sirens and sea creatures. Not only that but he can also control water and anything liquid like how he carried off Kole inside a water sphere."

"Mother, although not a royal by birth, has been granted an ability after the marriage between her and father and that ability is more like of a duty to be done by females specifically which is creating this ghostly matter that glows in the darkness and gives life to all the seas and oceans in this planet. She can also concentrate her power to the extent that she can revive dead coral beds, dead sea creatures and anything alike."

"Now mine...is kind of not related to water. I control air but mainly oxygen. My roles are more on recovery, life and defense which is not like Kole's or my father's...but...I can do this." Kosair looked at me with an expressionless face.

I can't read him nor predict his next move or speech.

"What's the matter-ghh!" My eyes widened as all the air from my lungs was taken away. I can't hold a breath at all and I can expect that my heart is going to stop if I don't breathe sooner or later. I looked at Kosair with fear. Is he really going to kill me?

I dropped to the ground, gasping but not at all breathing in anything.

After a few seconds, I got a deep breath of air fill my lungs and it sent my body into shock. I kept couching hard on the ground and heard Kosair sigh.

"I bet you're now scared of me."

No...I'm not.

"I bet you'll avoid me after this."

No...I won't.

"I bet you'll run away."

I got up on my feet and punched him on the jaw, making him turn his head right. "I WON'T!" I gasped as I still struggle to breathe. "...run away..." I continued. "You idiot."

Kosair slowly looked at me with that blank expression still on his stupid face.

"Don't you get it?" I asked in as I stared into his eyes. "I care for you!"

Kosair furrowed his brows. "Why-"

I started to get annoyed. "You wanna know why?!"
