Please, don't leave me." She felt helpless. "Was I just a doll that you carry around? Was I a toy that you groomed and played with?" She gritted her teeth. "Was I just your little doll?" Part 25: Kole Phoenix Siren

"I'm sorry you had to see that. Forgive me, Caroline." Sir Krum said and I stopped him from apologizing any further.

"It's nothing, pops. I fell on him which was really my fault."

"You called me pops." Sir Krum's face immediately lit up and looked out the window with a smile on his face. After a moment, Miss Olivia came rushing in with a worried look.

"I heard screaming." She said, breathing heavily from running.

Kosair supported me while I stood because my back still hurts.

"It was Kole." He said plainly.

Miss Olivia sighed. "Be patient with your brother. You know how he is."

Miss Olivia helped treat a bruise that was on my back while Kosair was talking about the kill list with his father.

Miss Olivia sighed as she tends to my bruise. "I didn't expect Kole to treat you like this."

I shook my head. "I was a stranger, Miss Olivia. It's understandable. I also heard that he got attacked by Sholters if I remember correctly. I got concerned to what attacked him."

Miss Olivia looked at me with nervousness on her face. "You don't have to worry about that. It's nothing." She looked at me with a sweet smile.

"Was it really nothing, mother?"

Me and Miss Olivia froze in place as we heard his broken voice.

"Do you even care for me?" We looked at Kole who was standing in the doorway, making his way in front of us. "This is a very serious matter and you should take it seriously, mother." He asserted.

Kole looked at me and sneered. "And why the hell would you care about something attacking me? You're not family!" He yelled.

Sir Krum and Kosair came running into the room and they both try to make him calm down but they both failed.

"I'm sorry but I wasn't trying to pick my nose into your family. I was just really concerned for you and I care for your family as well." I said genuinely but I know that it will fail to reach Kole's heart.

"You don't get it. It's not just some stupid problem between a petty misunderstanding between me and you." He said with venom coming out of his voice.

"I'm sorry if I made you feel that way." I said with my self-esteem already six-feet under.

Kosair grabbed his twin's arm and try to pull him out of the room.

"Kole. Let's cool down." Kosair offered.

Kole pulled his arm out of Kosair's hold violently. "COOL DOWN?!?!" He yelled, his voice starting to sound like a speaker grounding from the loudness of the volume.

"Kole, we'll talk later about this, son." Sir Krum said as he laid a hand on his shoulder but Kole's eyes widened in anger.

He yelled. "I don't care if she's human or shit! She's Kosair's mate, right?! Then she is fricking part of this so called 'family problem'!

Kole turned to me and practically screamed in my face.

"Guess what, princess? WE'RE ALL SIRENS!"

I got speechless. I can't handle it when someone yells at me with anger. My heart just can't handle situations like this. "...sirens?" I asked myself unconsciously.

Kole clenched his jaw and laughed hysterically while Kosair, sir Krum, and Miss Olivia looked at the both of us, not knowing what to do.

"MERMAN, MERMAIDS, SEA FOLK. Whatever mermaid story you grew up with." He started to calm down but to my surprise, he hurriedly grabbed my arms tightly and dragged me out of the room. Kosair, Sir Krum and Miss Olivia were screaming at him to let me go but Kole moved fast and locked them in the room.

Kole also locked them in the library which made me scared. My arm was now hurting from hid hold. "Kole, my arm hurts." I said in pain.

Kole laughed. "Haha. I thought you'd ask me to let you go...but you're different...just like they say." He said with spite.

Kole dragged me to a lake that was far away from their house but still part of the property that they lived in.

Kole suddenly grabbed my waist and held me at the corner of the lake.

He whispered with a smile on his face. "Time for you to drown."
