-In the stands-

"I swear, this boy wants to give me a heart attack" my mom said, sighing in relief after seeing that I had protected myself from the dragon's fire.

"Yes, for a second I thought he had become a grilled wizard" Dora joked, shutting up as soon as she received a dry look from her mother.

"I knew he wouldn't be defeated by a simple flame" Sirius said, crossing his arms with a confident smile.

"That was obvious. There are many defensive spells that serve to protect yourself from fire" Nick said, looking with a calm and analytical look at the enclosure.

And those in the group who heard him nodded, knowing this was true.

"Err… Why is he smiling?" Lupine asked with a strange look, seeing that even in front of an angry dragon I was smiling almost maniacally.

"Because he's crazy" was Sirius' response.

"Huh?" Lupine looked at him confused, before turning around and seeing that my parents and the rest of the group were nodding their heads, agreeing with Sirius' words.

'That's your answer?!' he asked himself sweatily.

Back in the enclosure I was still staring defiantly at the Hungarian Horntail, waiting for her to make her next move.

She, knowing that her flames were not that effective against me, decided that she would try to attack me with physical blows.

The large black dragon then turned, and I saw her tail rise, with she ready to begin her attack, and even though she hadn't attacked me yet I could already tell that there was a tremendous force behind that blow.

And learning my lesson from my confrontation with the basilisk, I knew that the best option now would not be to defend myself from this blow, but rather to dodge it.

But of course, that would be the case if I hadn't learned a few new tricks.

"Why is he standing still!?" Ted asked in panic, seeing that the dragon began to raise its tail full of obviously deadly spines.

"He doesn't think a shield spell will protect him from this blow, right?" Dora asked with a worried expression.

And the rest of the group also showed an expression of concern, with my mom squeezing my dad's arm tightly as he looked at the Hungarian Horntail and me in fear.

'Come on son, move!' he thought.

The Horntail, which was staring at me predatorily, dropped ithers tail, with it coming towards me at tremendous speeds.

And seeing this large deadly limb coming towards me I concentrated, feeling the magic circulate through my body before a lightness took over me.

And before everyone's eyes, the dragon's tail hit me, making the crowd watching gasp in shock, already wondering if this would be the first casualty of the tournament.

Only instead of blood and broken bones, what everyone saw was a dark mist appear when the cause hit me.

And before everyone's astonished gaze, the mist began to gather and reshape itself into a humanoid shape, and a few seconds later they could see me completely intact and without any injuries.

And the Horntail who thought she had hit me also looked at me blankly, and I smiled cheekily at her.

"Well, it seems that neither your flames nor your blows can reach me" I said in the language of dragons, "So... What are you going to do now?"

And this time the black dragon didn't even react to my provocation, looking between me and her tail with a confused expression.

'Heh, all my time training with this mist form was worth it' I thought in satisfaction.

"It's official, when he comes home he will be grounded" my mom said, sighing with relief.

"Papa! Papa! The dragon went voom and big brother went poof, and then he turned into strange smoke!" Cele said excitedly, pulling our dad's arms.

"Yes princess, I saw it" he said with a tight smile.

'Hmm, it's the first time I've seen him use this magic' Nick thought, rubbing his chin with interest.

And he wasn't the only one who was interested in this mist form of mine, but the people who were most focused on it had different thoughts than him.

And those thoughts weren't all that positive, and the vast majority came from pureblood supremacist wizards, more specifically those in Riddle's inner circle, who felt that my magic felt strangely familiar.

'That mist form... That arrogant look... Why does it remind me so much of him?' the Headmaster wondered, frowning.

And it was no surprise that they remembered Voldemort when they saw my mist form, since I created it taking inspiration from his Unsupported Flight.

But without knowing their thoughts, I kept looking at the black dragon, waiting for she to react.

And after a few seconds of her looking at her tail she seemed to snap out of her dazed state.

'He managed to survive again...' she thought with a growl, 'This human boy has a lot of hidden tricks'

She then looked at me, noticing my arrogant and mocking smile, and it made her blood boil, with her feeling her draconic pride being attacked.

'He may know some spells, but a weak human will always be a weak human' the Horntail thought, narrowing her eyes before roaring.

And faster than before she attacked me again, this time coming towards me with her mouth open ready to devour me.

"I think you missed" I said, turning into mist and appearing on the other side of her.

But she didn't even pay attention to my words, continuing her attack in a savage and angry manner.

But no matter how much she tried to attack me, I always escaped her attacks or used some other spell to defend myself.

"Stay still you cowardly insect!" she screamed, trying to rip me apart with her claws.

"Yes of course. That would be a great strategy" I scoffed, creating a barrier of ice, which she broke only to be surprised with a spray of mud in her eyes.

"ARGH!" she grunted, stumbling backwards as she shook her face.

And taking advantage of this moment I stopped running away, getting into a duel position while pointing my wand at her.

"Well, I'm done defending myself" I said, before smiling mischievously "Now it's my turn to attack"

And I didn't even give the Horntail a chance to recover after being temporarily blinded, as I started launching a barrage of spells at her.

Offensive spells would normally do nothing but irritate a dragon, as its skin and scales were super resistant to magic and attacks in general.

However, I have fought against a basilisk and a troll, which are also known for having tough skin, so I knew that no matter how tough a dragon's skin was, if it continued to receive many powerful attacks uninterruptedly it would eventually receive some damage.

However, I didn't want to hurt or kill the Hungarian Horntail, and for that reason my spells weren't full power, and I was just using them as a distraction from the real plan.

"I may not be able to hit you, but you can't hurt me either, you fool!" the Horntail roared, charging at me while ignoring a cutting spell I cast at her.

"I think you forgot about the lightning I threw at you at the beginning" I joked, dodging her tail, "And besides, my intention is not to hurt you... But to make you submit to me"

And saying that my eyes shone with a dangerous glow full of power, and everyone could feel that something was wrong, especially when the ground started to shake.

Since the beginning of the confrontation I wasn't using all my strength as I was letting most of my magic leak out of my body into the environment and onto the ground.

And now that I felt everything was ready I modeled my magic, and with a concentrated look I raised my wand arm.

And then from the ground, before everyone's eyes, large and thick iron chains with an electrifying blue glow appeared, swinging in the air like snakes ready to strike.

"What the..." Terry started to say.

"...Fuck?" and Stephen finished for him, with the two boys and the other people in the audience looking in stunned amazement at the show in front of them.

Inside the enclosure, in a great display of skill and magical power, was me, staring predatorily at a surprised dragon as dozens of chains made of magic swung around me.

'Let's see how tough and strong a dragon is' I thought with a smile, feeling more alive and free than ever.

End.
