--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After spending the rest of the entire afternoon with Luna on a fun and exciting walk, and after fulfilling my promise to Marcel by making a headstone for his mother, I was able to happily relax, waiting for the 1st of September to arrive.

I had already received my letter from Hogwarts with my list of materials a few days ago, and I had already gone to Diagon Alley to buy these materials, not that I needed to, since I had basically everything that was asked for, especially the books.

However, one of the things on the list that caught my parents' attention was the dress robes, but I knew that these robes were for students to wear at the Yule Ball that would take place before the second task of the Triwizard Tournament.

And I chose my robes myself, obviously with a little help from my mom and a few words from my dad... Okay, my mom basically took care of everything while I just put on the robes and posed, while my father watched silently, amused by my predicament.

But in the end I still got to choose the robes I liked the most, and now I had a formal dress worthy of me, Ethan Night.

But these robes reminded me of something very important, and that was the Triwizard tournament, or more precisely the age line that the Headmaster would place to stop younger students from registering for the tournament.

And my problem was that I still didn't know how I was going to cross that line.

Of course, I had some plans in mind, but I wasn't sure they would work.

But I didn't see any reason to think about it too much, as I wouldn't know for sure if my plans would work until I saw the line in front of me, which meant I had to wait to get back to Hogwarts and wait for the other two schools to arrive, where then the Goblet of Fire would be exposed to us.

Also, only after analyzing the age line will I be able to get any ideas on how to go about crossing it and registering for the tournament.

So basically it came down to waiting.

And that's what I did. I waited, and now it was time for me to go back to my magical, dangerous and mysterious school called Hogwarts, prepared for another crazy year full of situations that could lead to my death.

-September 1 – On the Train to Hogwarts-

"Man, I'm telling you, something is going to happen this year!" Anthony said to Michael, who was looking at him with a mocking look.

"Oh, and what will happen, since you seem so informed?" Michael asked.

"I don't know" Anthony replied, "But my brother told me to prepare for something that would happen at Hogwarts"

"So all your certainty comes from the fact that your brother told you that?" Michael looked at Anthony with a raised eyebrow, and he just nodded.

"Actually, I also think something will happen this year" Padma said, drawing attention to her.

"And what makes you say that?" Lisa asked.

"Well, first I overheard some Slytherin boys talking about some event at Hogwarts when I was looking for our compartment, and second, that if there really is going to be an event then that would explain why dress robes were on our materials list" she replied, and that got the others thinking.

"Hmm, now that you say that, it really would make sense if the dress robes were for this mysterious event" Stephen commented.

"Well, the question now is, what event is this?" Sue asked, which caused everyone to fall into a pensive moment again.

And seeing all of them reflecting and wondering what event was going to happen at school I just smiled softly, imagining their reaction when the Headmaster talks about the tournament.

Leaving them talking about the mysterious event, I looked to the compartment window, seeing the scenery outside passing by quickly.

'Hmm, I already plan to participate in the tournament, and I have a lot of ideas on how to complete the tasks' I thought, 'But there's something I missed... How am I going to deal with Skeeter?' I wondered, frowning.

'I know that her main target will be Harry and also Fleur to a lesser extent, but as I've already made up my mind that I'd show some skills in the tournament to impress everyone and build a reputation, then the chances of her turning her poisonous quill to me are also high'

And with an even more furrowed brow, I placed my elbow on the windowsill, resting my cheek on my hand as I continued to look outside, realizing that it was getting dark.

'Maybe I should threaten Skeeter with the information that I know she is an illegal Animagus?' I reflected.

'Or should I wait for her to turn into a beetle and follow me so I can crush her? That way I would be preventing myself from any future problems she might cause me or my friends' and I thought about it for a few seconds before sighing.

'No, I don't know if I would be able to kill her. Killing a Death Eater is different from killing a sensationalist journalist, even if that journalist is a venomous and greedy person who wouldn't think twice about destroying someone's life with her articles'

...

...

...

'And with all this, I'm starting to think that killing her wouldn't be so bad...'

When I read the books and watched the movies of the saga there were only two people I really disliked and even hated, and those people were Skeeter and Umbridge, and that said a lot when we had someone like Pettigrew and Voldemort in the story.

But now that I'm inside this world, which is totally real, I don't know if I should continue with this hatred of mine.

Of course, that only goes for Skeeter, who I've seen and even manipulated to help me get rid of Lockhart, but I didn't talk to her so I could draw better conclusions.

Now Umbridge I really don't intend to give her any chance. Whether I hate her because of her character in the book or not makes no difference to me, as she is someone I really want and intend to kill.

Just the things I read in the Daily Prophet about the laws she wanted to create made me realize that she's just as despicable here as she is in the books.

Feeling some irritation rise inside me I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself, and getting the rose toad out of my mind, I went back to thinking about the problem with Skeeter.

And while I was thinking about this the door of the compartment I was in was opened, and in front of it was Susan.

"Hi everyone," she said, before looking up at me and smiling softly, nodding her head.

"Hi" "Hey" "Good to see you Susan" the others greeted her.

And as my friends spoke to Susan, I blinked slightly.

'Wait...' I stopped, and an imaginary light bulb could be seen lighting up above my head.

''Why should I bother threatening Skeeter if I can just get rid of her by handing her over to the head of DMLE for her crime?' I asked no one in particular.

And realizing that I could easily solve one of my problems a small smile started to creep onto my face, which I hid by turning my face towards the window.

'A threat only works if I want the threatened person around to control them or if I can't get rid of them, but that's not the case with Skeeter' I thought, with a twinkle in my eyes.

'The sooner I get rid of this woman and put her in prison, the less I have to worry about her dishonest and false articles' and a smile that could scare most people came across my face.

And while these many thoughts were running through my mind, Susan, who noticed that I turned my face away as soon as I saw her, started looking at me with concern.

'Huh? Did I do something to piss him off?' she asked herself a little worriedly, not knowing that she had actually just helped me solve a problem.

And so the rest of the trip followed, with a boy looking at the window with a machiavellian smile while a red-haired girl looked at him worried and a little nervous.

End.
