Yeah! Here's the new chapter!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Marcel's diary continued to tell about his life until his final year at Hogwarts, talking about Marcel graduating from Hogwarts with above average grades, with me knowing he could very well have gotten the best grade of his year.

The other information that was in the diary talked about how Marcel lived his life after Hogwarts, and happily he managed to get away from that goddamn adoptive "family" of his, and he began his search for his mother.

Knowing his mother's name should help in his quest, but apparently either she was really a little-known foreign witch, or Marcel's father somehow managed to erase any information about her existence.

Judging by the dirty information Marcel found out about his father, I'm leaning more towards the second option.

All the things Marcel's father did on the sly, in my mind, made me think he might as well have become a Death Eater or an Acolyte of Grindelwald had he been born in another time.

'Heh, and to think that the wizarding government has been corrupt and dirty since ancient times' I thought, not able and not even trying to contain my contempt.

I then went back to reading the diary, only to my confusion the next page was all blank.

"Huh? What the hell?" I muttered.

I went to the next page, and just like the previous one, it was also blank. I then leafed through the diary, and saw that all the following pages were also blank.

'Has Marcel stopped writing in his diary? What happened?' I mentally asked myself.

Just as I was going to reach for my wand to see if there were any concealment spells in the diary, I felt some magical fluctuations coming from the blank pages.

With a look of curiosity on my face, I turned on my Magic Vision, and with it I could see that those blank pages were actually enchanted, and the magic in them was so strong that it made me realize that all the magic I had felt from the diary came from them.

"What did you do Marcel?" I asked no one in particular.

'Why did Marcel enchant only these pages? What is so different and special about them?' I wondered.

Before I could think of an answer, before my eyes and with my Magic Vision on, I saw the blank pages of the diary turn pitch black, and then I felt a sensation of being pulled into the diary.

'Wait! Is that diary a Horcrux?!' I thought, closing my eyes and breaking the connection to the diary.

I then, without much thought, threw the diary away.

As soon as I felt the connection break, and felt my magic settle, I looked down at the journal I'd thrown on the floor.

'Damn, that was close' I thought, but then my mind started working and I realized something.

'Wait, it doesn't make sense and it's not even possible that this diary is a Horcrux' I thought, realizing that I was a bit hasty with my actions, mainly because of my last encounter with a Horcrux, 'The diary doesn't have the same corrupted magic from the Horcruxes, and I had no reaction to touching it in all this time, and besides, my senses didn't alert me to any danger coming from the diary, quite the opposite'

Towards the end of my analysis, I went back to looking at the diary on the floor, and getting up from my bed I began to cautiously approach him.

When I was in front of the diary, I reached my hand out to it, with my Magic Vision turned on just in case.

And just as I expected, nothing bad or strange happened, and even Marcel's magic in the diary remained the same.

'Well, while Marcel's magic isn't the most pure, clear, and light magic I've ever seen, it's also far from the most corrupt, dirty, and dark, at least not at the level of someone who made a Horcrux' I thought, picking up the diary and holding it in my hands.

Returning then to my bed, I opened the diary curiously. Since now I knew the diary didn't pose any danger to me, I was curious to know what that feeling of being pulled was all about.

Opening the diary to the blank pages, I held it up and looked at it, but strangely nothing happened.

'Funny to think that the weird thing here is the diary isn't trying to pull me into it' I thought.

I then thought of something and decided to turn on my Magic Vision, and just then the same phenomenon happened, with the pages being completely dyed black and me feeling myself being pulled into the diary.

This time, I didn't try to break the connection and let the enchantment on the diary continue.

With a small feeling of dizziness and lightness hitting me, I saw the world around me spin with flashes of white and black lights, and as soon as those flashes stopped I suddenly found myself standing in a large circular room with many bookshelves on the wall, with parchment and other magic items thrown around the room.

"Oh...I think I already know what enchantment Marcel used to enchant the diary" I muttered to myself, watching my hand go inside a lamp and blur it, as if it were a mist.

"I'm in a memory, like in Riddle's diary… No, like in a Pensieve," I said, looking around carefully.

"The last pages are not Marcel's everyday notes or information, they are Marcel's memories!" I said, surprised that I didn't know such an enchantment existed, but even more surprised to find that Marcel knows about it and used it in his diary.

"Urg! Damn headache" I heard someone grumble, and looking in the direction of the sound I saw a tall man with curly black hair that reached his shoulder length.

This man also had a long beard and dark circles under his eyes, highlighting his gray eyes.

The man wore shabby, baggy clothes, and if I hadn't noticed his dragonhide boots or caught a glimpse of the wand holster on his wrist, I'd have thought this man was homeless.

The man approached a half-open box that sat on a table next to several dirty cups of coffee.

"Damn, my supply of headache potions has run out," he cursed.

The man then sat down heavily in a chair and pulled his wand from its holster, and with it he summoned one of the few clean cups that were in the cupboard and a kettle that was on the fireplace.

Approaching the man I stopped in front of him, looking at him with analytical, curious eyes.

"Marcel?" I said, and the man raised his head.

"Huh?" I said eloquently, pulling away from Marcel, "Can he hear me?" I wondered, but then I saw him get up from his chair and walk over to me, and when I was ready to pull out my wand I heard the man speak again.

"Finally you're here you stupid bird" Marcel said, passing through my body and becoming a blur of mist, taking shape as he passed me.

Looking back I saw that he was actually talking to an owl, which was carrying a large package.

"If I'd known it would take so long to arrive, I would have ordered elsewhere" Marcel grumbled, picking up the package and handing some pieces of bread to the owl, which took off right away.

Marcel then unwrapped the package, and placing its contents on the table, I saw that Marcel had bought several things.

3 books, various potion ingredients, a few other items I didn't know what they were or what they were for, a wand, and vials containing some types of liquids.

'What the fuck is Marcel trying to do?' I wondered, with an odd look on my face looking at two of the vials I recognized, knowing they were unicorn blood and some other creature's blood.

Leaving these items on the table, Marcel picked up one of the 3 books that had a dark red cover and approached his bookshelf, where he picked up a journal and a quill, with his coffee cup levitating behind him.

He then began to look at the book with concentration.

"Hmm... This book is written in another language, and I don't know this one" he muttered, and then to my surprise I saw his eyes light up.

Right after that, I heard him speak, but he wasn't speaking English anymore, and it didn't take a genius to find out that he was actually speaking the language that was written in the book, and the surprising thing was that he learned this new language in seconds just by looking at a book.

'Does he also have the Magic Insight? But how did he learn a new language so easily? Is he just like me and also has a special ability?' I asked myself surprised.

End.
