"My mom says there are some magical creatures here that are very rare to find in Britain" Lily said holding my arm as she guided me to a large museum-like structure, and meanwhile Cele was clinging to my other arm pouting.
"Like which creatures?" I asked.
"I don't know" Lily said happily, "My mom never told me, and I never asked."
With that response from Lily I simply looked at her with a raised eyebrow, which she shrugged.
"I know you like magical creatures, so I thought you might like to see some rare creatures," she said, and I smiled at her.
"Well, maybe I like it a little," I said, and this time it was Lily's turn to look at me with a raised eyebrow.
Arriving in front of the place, I saw that there was a large decorated and colorful sign written "Zoo des créatures magiques rares et spéciales de Maître Augustine", abbreviated to ZooMA. (Master Augustine's Zoo of Rare and Special Magical Creatures)
Paying a total of 4 Galleons per person, Lily, Cele and I entered the zoo, and the first thing we noticed was that the place was more organized than expected.
The interior of the place was well lit, and had a very long corridor, and on each side of the corridors were cages, boxes, and glass cases with several animals inside.
Interestingly, for each species of animal, their cages had a different appearance to suit their narutal habitat.
Most of the creatures that were at the entrance to the zoo are common magical creatures such as Plimpys, Nifflers, Clabberts and Diricawls.
Of all the class X and XX creatures that were in the first sector of the zoo, the only ones that looked interesting were the Nifflers for their ability to find and steal anything shiny, and the Diricawls, who are known to Muggles as Dodos, and who has a teleportation ability similar to the apparition.
The deeper we went into the zoo, the more strange and interesting animals we saw.
"Look Ethan! I've read about this creature!" said Lily, pointing to a water horse.
"Hehe, yes Lily, he's a class XXX creature called the Hippocampus," I said, approaching the big glass aquarium and putting my hand on it.
With my hand close to the glass, the Hippocampus inside the aquarium seemed to have sensed me, as they approached the glass and stared at me.
With some of my Beast Talk I passed some positive feelings on to the Hippocampus, who neighed happily before they started swimming around the aquarium, as if they were dancing.
"Some people compare Hippocampus to Hippogriffs, but in fact the two are completely different. Hippocampus are also calmer and more cheerful, and easily tamed. It's a mystery to me why they're considered class XXX," I said, and I could see Lily looking back and forth between me and the Hippocampus with a look of wonder.
'How did he make them dance?!' was the question on Lily's mind.
We then continued with our tour, where we saw some Augureys, some Mooncalfs that had a habitat that was enchanted to aways be at night, and a couple of Fwoopers, who luckily were bewitched with silencing spells.
"Ethan, what creature are those?" Cele asked me, pointing to some horses with wings.
"Those are Winged Horses, and it's usually their colors that help us distinguish their race," I said, and then pointed to a brown winged horse, "That one is an Aethonan, that gray one is a Granian, and that big horse palomino with white wings is an Abraxan"
"How do you know so much about magical creatures?" Lily asked me.
"Well, I'm a Ravenclaw, known for..."
"For studying hard and being smart" Lily continued for me. She then took a look around us, "Err.. Are there only horses here?" she asked, and I laughed a little.
"Maybe this is the area for the horse-like creatures," I said with a slight smile on my face, shrugging my shoulders.
I then felt some feelings and emotions of calm and purity, and I easily recognized which animal was transmitting these feelings.
"Well, I don't know if you want to see another 'horse,' but I have a feeling you'll like this one," I said, and then started taking them to another habitat.
Arriving in front of a habitat that resembled a forest, I saw a pure white creature approaching the railings that surrounded the habitat.
"Wow, how beautiful!" Lily said in wonder.
Cele, who was beside me holding my hand, started jumping around happily with an excited smile on her face as she pointed at the creature that was in front of us.
"Brother! Brother! That's a—" she started to say, but I finished for her.
"Yes Cele, he's a Unicorn" I said, smiling at the creature, at the same time I felt sad to see him trapped in a cage, even though I know it's safer here than most forests of the world.
"An unicorn!" Cele exclaimed happily, walking to the front of the bars, but I held her back.
"Calm down Cele, Unicorns don't like to be approached so suddenly" I said, and then put Cele behind me as I calmly approached the Unicorn.
Arriving in front of him, I looked around to see if anyone was watching us, luckily finding no one. I then brought my hand closer to the bars and let the Unicorn decide whether to approach it or not.
Not a second after I stretched out my hand, the Unicorn in front of me came over and laid his head on my mom, and I started petting him.
"See, now you can get closer," I said, turning to the girls, only to see that Lily and Cele were standing next to each other, looking at me in wonder with a twinkle in their eyes and their mouths half open.
"Ethan... Are you a Disney princess?" Lily asked me, causing me to stop abruptly.
I then turned to look at her slowly, but I could only see innocence and curiosity in her eyes.
"Why did you ask that?" I asked confused.
"Well, you're known for being kind, you look great, and animals love you... Isn't that almost the same as a princess?" she asked me back.

"You know, maybe I'm a princess," I said, shrugging my shoulders.
As soon as I said that, I saw the two of them looking at me with their eyes wide open and huge smiles on their faces.
"This is amazing!" Lily exclaimed, "I didn't know Unicorns let men touch them," she continued.
"Maybe I'm a special case," I said.
"But I also saw the Hippocampus dancing for you... and I saw that Kneazle staring at you... and that--"
"Okay, I get it… I'm a princess" I said, rolling my eyes playfully at Lily.
"Brother" Cele, who was quiet, approached me and tugged at my shirt.
"Yes Cele?"
"If you're a Disney princess, does that mean I'm one too?" she asked, looking at me expectantly and innocently.
"Yes Cele, you are a wonderful princess," I said, and Cele broke into a huge smile, before turning to look superiorly at Lily, and I could see Lily's right eye twitch.
Seeing this scene I let out a little huff, and Lily turned to me pouting, and I had to resist the urge to laugh.
"Well girls, we don't have all day so let's get on with our ride" I said to ease the tension between the two, which at least to me felt comical.
For the rest of the day the girls and I continued seeing and visiting many other habitats, where I saw many creatures that would probably be impossible to see normally.
For a very obvious reason there were no creatures of class XXXXX here.
When it was mid-afternoon, I said goodbye to Lily who had to meet her parents and then I went to the theater that was near the center of the avenue, as I could feel the Flamels' magic nearby.
