Political Speech

Ivory was preparing her speech for that day all of Saikirin was going to watch her, she was going to help fix the government. Now that was her thought to fix the government. She opened the door and left for the square. She passed by market stands, then she made it to the crowd, then her podium.

She walked up, then began, "Today will begin many speeches to come. Now let's talk about Tutelia and, it's a so-called republic. Now it's not a republic, it's a dictatorship with an emperor by the name of Kaiseir. Kaiseir is the 3rd emperor and he's ruled for 11 years so far.

And, not much good has happened either, for example Emperor Kaiseir passed the '5% act'. An act which made the Tutelian citizens pay 5% more on tax for bought goods, and this would normally be only slightly bad for the Tutelian people. But because of the Tax act of 1698 the taxes now are 37% on all bought goods. But the tax act also made it quarterly paid, so it makes it more like 31% but still.

that would crush the Tutelian people because income has not been risen since 1537 by Consul Sarvin, which did raise income by a nice 12%, but still tax outweighs pay by about 19% so it still crushes us.

Now i say we sign a petition to the government for change!" The crowd went wild and About 120 people signed the petition they named it the Waverlin County Petition because people from Saikirin, Variel, and Tisslyville were there, and Ivory mailed the petition. *mail takes about 5 days to get sent in this world*
