Prologue

A new chance at life and an extended period of age which would most probably never even be notice by the people of the world. They, who were completely ignorant to what happened around them as time moved on throughout the ages.

Indeed how times have changed from long back. Now evolution had taken over. Industrialization and modernity in its purest from.

After the great war between the twin Gods of ocean and light which had shook the the whole Douluo Dalu Continent, things obviously did not remain the same.

The world had evolved so much after that time, ten thousand years to be exact. These rapid series of changes having both their benefits and disadvantages.

Improvement have truly been made in the numerous sectors of life such as  the advancements of technology, growing expanse of communication and transportation as well as improvements in the health department and now with the newest arrival of soul guiding tools,soul masters have reached a whole new level in terms of power and combat abilities.

But there is always a bad side to every good thing in the world. What exactly was all these great changes for if now individuals have completely lettin' go of their cultural values and heritage, increase in crime waves and corruption rampant.

The amount of destruction caused throughout the centuries and the sheer unfathomable power which has been gained by soul masters because of these evolutions has left the majority of the minority,who could never even dream of standing up to the mighty soul masters totally helpless.

In soul land everyone is born with something known as a martial soul. A soul which is awakened at the age of six,minus a few exceptions. Even though everyone might have a martial soul but it was the test of soul power which determines whether a person may or may not become a soul master.

Many who go through these mandatory awakening test fail to have the desired soul power and the few who pass are immediately recruited into very renowned schools known for training and teaching the young and upcoming soul masters.

That is how it has always been. To the ones who showed great talent and potential,a glorious world awaited them while the rest are left to bite the dust.

People with no or low soul power are nothing and regarded as filth. They are treated worst that the ground upon which they stand.

Life was pure torment for these poor people and in an unfair world where the strong dominates the weak who would have thought that the weak and frail looking boy by the name Xiao Shivay would ever stand up to the oppressive rule of the Doulou Dalu continent.
