Chapter 2: looking for a way out

After I look around the school for a while I am horrified by the things I see the walls are covered in blood and people are on the ground motionless but I do my best to keep searching. So far I haven't seen any of the "infected" the people in the school call them. I am lucky right now because since I haven't ran into any that means that they are mostly far away from my location and I dont have to fight one of them. i continue to walk down the hallways calling out my sister's name. No Response. I climb to the next floor using the stairs which are covered in blood and a few dead bodies. " What the hell this is disgusting".

I walk up the stairs and something grabbed my leg. as I go down I see one of the dead bodies was alive but it kept trying to bite my leg I kicked as hard as i could. "get off me!!" I said In frustration. then something grabs my arm it's a girl at my school Sandra She is pulling on my arm trying to get me away from the living corpse! "Do something I can't keep pulling forever!". As I struggle I finally kick the living corpse off my foot. I stumble away and it kept crawling at me Then Sandra grabs a fire extinguisher and beats the Living Corpse to death. when it stopped moving I got up and sandra was covered up in blood all over. She Mumbled "Great now my clothes is stained". "Sorry about that" I say. Sandra says " what are you even doing on the lower floor they are all over the place I'm surprised it was just one". I stand up and say " well I'm looking for my little sister Amelia but I can't find her". Sandra says with frustration " well we need to hurry and leave the building cause there is just too many in here. "agreed well let's check the classrooms" I say. We walk up to my sister's classroom and there is a couple of the dead hitting the door and with the banging there was screaming inside!!! I was I'm shock because I recognized some of the dead. I looked at them and thought " they were just like me" I felt bad for them because they got caught in the whole thing and now I am the one who has to put them out of their misery. I looked around and found nothing. "let's check the other classrooms we'll help them if we have something to fight with" Sandra said. We look inside of a classroom and I find a wooden chair. "what type of school still has wooden chairs?" I said in my mind. I start pulling on the leg and tear off a piece of it I give the leg I got to Sandra and I Tear off another then I grasp it firmly so i can get more damage. "Man if my friend was here he'd know how to upgrade this leg, he's been into this whole stuff since he was younger". Sandra asks " well what do you think he would do right now?". "I don't Know" I reply. Just then I got an idea. "hey grab everything that may be useful in this room" I say. We then gather all the items we can think of and place them on the ground. "Ok this is good we have some useful stuff here" I Said. There was Scissors, Duct tape, Disecting Knives for frogs "which was gonna be used for something else now" I thought. I started by grabbing 2 Knives and putting to the sides of my wooden leg. I then grab the tape and tighten it and I had a stronger leg which can hurt the dead more. I then repeated the process with sandra. "Done" I say. "Not Bad" Sandra says. " just did what my friend would have done" I said. "Ok we should be strong enough to fight those things now" I say. We then head out of the classroom and I Strike at the first one. I stab into its head and it tumbles down. Sandra Rushes the other and pins it to the wall. I then Bash its head in till it stopped moving. After the fight I bent down and puked. " You Ok there?" Sandra asks. "Yeah I'm fine let's check on the ones stuck inside" I say. We Pull the Door open and there is 4 other people stuck inside. My Sister and 3 Other people are behind her and they Charge at us. "STOP IT " I say yelling at them. "we're not infected" I say. "We just took out some of the dead outside of this door" Sandra says and points to the ground. "Everyone Grab whatever can be useful Because We need to find a way out"
