RWBY: The Boy Named Rin

In Vale, there's a coffee café that serves heavenly drinks and questionably amazing curry that pairs so well with the coffee. Even renowned Headmaster of Beacon, Ozpin drinks it (Even if the majority don't know it). But who is the owner of the café? Why is he so young? What is a Mistralian doing in Vale? How does he make a profit with such cheap coffee? And why does he make such good coffee?! Oh, and a group named the Phantom Thieves are making a fuzz in Remnant. That's not that important though, Leblanc's coffee is more interesting than them. RWBY X Persona 5

Pyrrha Nikos POV

Pyrrha who noticed him coming towards her with a serious face made her look back in confusion to see the jar leaving Cardin's hand.

Her eyes scanned the situation. Cardin was in the middle of his team with an opened jar of sap, Russel had a box of something that he was tossing towards her team. Dove was carrying onto multiple jars of sap, with him unscrewing the tops of the jars, while Sky was looking at the whole situation with a face of guilt.

Ah... So that's what's happening.

She thought as she tried to reach for her shield to note that she was too late. Her shield was on her back, she could grab it in time, but she wouldn't be able to shield herself, even with her Semblance —

Just as the sap was about to touch her skin, Jaune with shocking speeds, reached in front of her and shielded her with his body.

SPLAT!

"Jaune!"

She exclaimed as the sap connected to his body, leaving his back stained with sap.

"""Jaune!"""

Her teammates and Team RWBY immediately ran towards them the moment she voiced out her shock. With precision and speed, Team RWBY froze CRDL in their places.

Ruby had her scythe's blade around Cardin's neck, Blake had her gun pointed behind Russel, Yang was grabbing Dove on his collar, and Weiss had use Ice Dust to freeze Sky's legs.

"What the hell are you guys doing?!"

Yang shouted in confusion as she tightened her grip on Dove. The other teams along with Professor Goodwitch had come to assess the situation when she noticed the sap on Jaune's back.

"Mister Arc, quickly, we have to remove the sap on your body or else — !"

Before she could finish, the contents inside the box Russel was carrying bursts out, revealing a pack of Rapier Wasps. The scent of excessive sap instantly caused them to suddenly shriek out before Professor Goodwitch could react in time to subjugate them.

The area was so silent that one could hear a pin drop. Her face started to shift into an anger inducing expression when suddenly —

BEEP!

BEEP!

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

The tablet on Professor Goodwitch's hands started to blare as she hardly sucked the air in fear.

"... 342 Grimm activities coming in fast, all directions, e.t.a. 1 minute."

Then all hell broke loose.

Glynda Goodwitch POV

She is seriously rethinking her decision of letting Ozpin pick the students this semester.

That was what she thought when she immediately ordered them to return back to base.

She got the whole story while they evacuated. What were CRDL thinking when they splashed sap, which is a bloody beacon to all Grimm, on Jaune?!

And bringing Rapier Wasps which are notorious of alerting surrounding Grimm of potential threats? She was so kicking them out when they survive this ordeal, the moment she steps foot in Ozpin's office!

Oum, help her hold the emotions that are within her.

The moment every team reached the base, she instantly started to fortify it with surrounding trees as fences, using her Semblance to uproot the trees before creating makeshift barricades.

It took another few seconds to brief everyone on the situation and objectives.

"Students! Form your teams and immediately stand guard! Make sure every angle between our base and the forest is covered! The Bullhead is coming in an e.t.a. of 10 minutes minimum, we have to stay our ground!

Do not engage in close combat! I repeat, I forbid you all to engage in close range until needed! Students with close range weapons, help your teammates as much as you can. Close range is death until they broke the barricades!"

She barked orders before concentrating, opening her pouch on her hip before using her Semblance to lift all the fined Dust inside. She didn't bring that much since this was an easy mission.

Calculating mentally, she had a total of fined Fire and Wind Dust that could kill about 26 Rank-C Grimm, which was the lowest ranking that a Grimm could have. Factoring in the students and their equipment, they could kill a total of 173 Rank-C Grimm using range only.

So, that meant that they'd have to engage in close quarter combat. Ugh, this wouldn't have happened if it weren't for fools in her class!

"Contact!"

Pyrrha Nikos yelled out as she aimed her weapon in rifle mode at 7 o'clock. Taking a good look, she breathed a slight sigh of relief when she saw 3 Rank-C Grimm, Beowolves.

"Open fire upon contact! We cannot let them engulf our defenses!"

And from that command alone, gunfire exploded. Using the fined Dust, she immediately started to work, not noticing a faint blue butterfly flying in the distance.

Blake Belladonna POV

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

Reloading her pistol, she continued to fire away when suddenly she noticed something missing.

"Rin?"

Her stomach dropped to the ground when she realized something.

Rin was nowhere to be seen at all.

"Professor! Rin, he's — !"

The professor's eyes widened as she started looking around the camp. Nowhere to be seen.

It's like he somehow vanished.

Salem's POV

The wind caused the leaves to rustle as a figure in black appeared from within the shadows of the forest. Walking out from the shadows, the man looked around the place.

Ah, so that's what caused her Grimm to connect her consciousness... It sensed Magic...

With his hair pushed up, he rests his hands on the mask of his. She could feel magic brimming from the mask, as if it was the catalyst to his powers.

"Come."

With ease, he takes the mask off his face, blue flames erupting as it engulfs his face.

VHOOOMMM!!!

Behind him, a pillar of blue fire bursts forth, spiraling before it explodes in its center, revealing a black-robed monster with black orbs spiraling as if they were in orbit.

This manifestation of his has a resemblance to Aura, but it still feels like Magic... Ah, soul magic... Intriguing...

To witness more, she ordered her Grimm to surround the man, to see more of this soul magic of his.

Sensing that he was getting surrounded, he pulls out a pistol from its holder on his hip, ready for their confrontation.

"[Vajra Blast]."

He ordered calmly as the monster moved. Roaring with its mask's mouth opening, the orbs surrounding it floated up before shifting, transforming into blades.

Rotating rapidly, it started to glow a hue of white before the swords burst into action, stabbing into the ground of the Beowolves near its master.

BOOOOOMMMM!!!

The swords exploded the moment they landed on the ground, causing the pack of Beowolves to perish instantly from the blast.

Swiftly reacting, the man raised his hand gun before firing burst shots, all hitting an Ursa's head that tried to attack him.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

All the bullets hit it at the same spot, going through its head as it dropped to the ground limp, dissipating into ash.

What power...

"I don't have time to entertain all of you."

With that piece said, he suddenly shifted his head at her, who was quite surprised that he even sensed her from the connection.s

Raising his hand to his face, his mask materialized once more before he muttered a word that shook her to her core, his eyes never leaving hers as his eyes glowed yellow.

The whole world went up to flames.

"[ ▇ ▇ ▇ ▇ ▇ ▇ ]."

...

DHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!

Glynda Goodwitch POV

They managed to find him, helping Team UNIK reloading their weapons since all of their fighters were range-specialised and no one could reload their cartridges of ammo for them. causing her to breathe a sigh of relief.

They looked quite distracted through with hazy eyes, but it may be her straining of her Aura.

After they realized that he went missing, explosions started to ring from the distance when suddenly a white sphere erupted, acting as some sort of E.M.P that fried all electronics and cameras temporarily for a few minutes.

By the time the E.M.P dissipated, the Bullhead arrived to take them all away to safety.

Glynda sat near the cockpit with a tired expression on her face. Writing this report was going to be one hell of an all-nighter.

"This was an interesting trip."

Rin said as a joke, drinking his bottle of water before staring at the sap that they've collected. At least they completed their mission, Peach definitely owed her a drink afterward.

She looked back at the students through a mirror to see most of them glaring at CRDL, especially RWBY and JNPR

"I'm so sorry for my students, Mr. Rin. I will make sure that they're punished accordingly."

And that she will! She doesn't care what excuses CRDL will give after this, she almost lost the whole semester due to their immaturity and pride!

"Ah, it's nothing to worry about. I'm not that fragile."

He said with a grin before flexing his arm to show some muscle, prompting Glynda to chuckle at his behavior. She could always count on Rin to make her laugh.

??? POV

"Where am I?"

Rin asked with a hint of panic as he got up from the chair that he was in, hearing the chair skid on the marble floor.

He finally left the damn station with his... Persona... and now when he went to bed he's in another place.

This time, it was a courtroom, with black and white marble material that made up the foundation.

In fact, he wouldn't call it a courtroom at all, The jury box was weirdly not present at all. the layout of this "courtroom" was not right since there was only a bar table where he was at, a witness booth at the side of the room, a clerk's booth, and a large Judge's booth which was empty.

The bar table and the Judge's bench were colored with a comforting yet unsettling color of velvet blue, with gold accents decorated at the corners and black on the edges.

There was a song placing in the background. Though it was a little distorted like hearing a song placing on a below-average speaker, it was soothing yet mysterious, as if it directly was affecting his soul as he started to calm down from his initial spike of panic.

The only person in this room was a woman with platinum blonde hair standing in the clerk booth that was connected to the Judge's booth, with golden eyes staring into his soul.

She was beautiful.

Too beautiful. Like a porcelain doll, her beauty was artificial that felt menacing, unnatural.

She donned an open business suit, the main colors being velvet blue with a pin that read "V" on her left pocket of the suit. She wore a white shirt underneath the suit, he could barely see a hint of cleavage which made him quickly redirect his sight somewhere else in respect.

On her hands were white gloves with black accents, and she was holding onto a thick leather book with the symbol "V" that he could see on the front.

"Junichiro Rin, welcome to the Velvet Room."

She said with a sweet voice that made him feel something in his gut, but it contradicts with her emotionless face that was as cold as snow. He steeled his heart, as she continued.

"This place exists between dream and reality, mind and matter."

She explains the room as he looked around, his hands tensed on the table before sitting back down, trying to calm himself down.

He could feel his Persona in his soul, telling him that she is an ally instead of a foe, so he calmed down. His Persona had helped him in their expedition to get out of whatever Hell he was in, and he was his true self, so he trusted him.

"Who are you? And why am I here?"

He asked his question.

"My name is Evelynn, an assistant to my Master. Only those who are bounded by a Contract may enter."

That... Doesn't give him much to go with, but when he was about to ask about this, his head started to feel drowzy.

Evelynn sees this as she mentioned it.

"Time marches on in your world. We shall go into more details another time. Until then, farewell, Jester."

Before he could ask, his mind fades away as he falls unconscious, his head dropping to the table.
