CHAPTER 14

Sorry for missing last week's update, I just started my internship that my college forced us to take.
On a side note, I've been cooking up a new fic, it currently has 10 chapters with no title name yet (I suck at naming stuff). Maybe once I have like 15 to 20 chapters I will start posting them for a while instead of my other books' updates.

Blake Belladonna POV
Beacon finally let teams roam around the city, which meant she finally could visit Leblanc after a month stuck in Beacon Academy's dorms.
But at least she had some entertainment with her new team.
Power walking to her destination, she ignored the cries of Weiss and Ruby as she took a familiar turn by the corner to stand in front of Leblanc, the scent of coffee makes her sigh in peace as she could still remember the day that she met Rin.
Finally snapping out of it after hearing Ruby call her name, she peeks her head out of the corner to see them looking aimlessly at the unfamiliar street that is Vale Commercial District Zone 4 since Ruby only goes to gun and dust stores, Yang only goes to clubs and gyms, and Weiss wasn't from Vale.
She however, had Rin's help for directions around Zone 4, something that she really liked about Rin, so kind to strangers.
"I'm here!"
She says with a wave as her team catch up to her.
"What got you all so excited?"
Weiss asked as she looked at the sign on Leblanc with a complicated look, to which Ruby whispered to Yang.
"Blake looks... Really weird being excited."
Her faunus ears picked it up from under the ribbon, causing Blake to blush slightly at the 180° attitude change when Rin's involved before focusing up.
Yang who knew what was going on wrapped her hands over her sister's and Weiss' necks before pulling them back from Leblanc.
"Girls, why don't we go look at some Dust before getting a drink? I heard Dust Till Dawn has some Dust and weapon magazines on discount."
Ruby's ears immediately perked up before squealing. Activating her Semblance, Weiss could barely say a word before they get dragged in a burst of red petals.
... Did Yang just wing manned her?
Damn, she just did. She will buy her a drink later, she had a war to prepare.
She combs her hair using her fingers and makes sure there were no creases on her clothes before entering Leblanc with a smile.
Hearing the nostalgic cling of the bell when opening the door, her mood improves when she sees that there was no one in the café at all.
"Welcome — Oh, morning Blake!"
Rin greeted them with a smile as he carried a box of coffee beans. His cute smile with the dimple on his right cheek made her legs quiver from the cuteness level.
Oum, she misses this so much —
"Oi, Rin, which beans you want again?!"
The voice of a girl made Blake pause for a second as Rin answered back.
"Back shelf, the one that says "Valerian Arabica Beans Roasted"!"
He yelled back before looking at her team.
"So, Beacon's finally gave you all some breathing room?"
Ignoring what just happened, she gave back a smile as she walked to her usual seat.
"Tell me about it."
That prompted a low chuckle from Rin as he placed the box of beans onto the ground. Leaning on the counter, he flashes a grin as he pushes his glasses up.
Oum, he looks so fucking hot —
STEP! STEP! STEP! STEP!
"Seriously, everything is labelled the damn same, Rin!"
She turned her head back to widen her eyes. Walking down the stairs was a chocolate skinned girl with green hair, wearing just a green singlet-jeans combo along with wearing Leblanc's apron, showing a little bit of side boob.
She was carrying onto three bags of coffee beans as she walked down.
"Huh? A customer? Thought we're opening at 10?"
The girl said with a raised eyebrow, as Rin introduced her to the girl.
"She's Blake, my regular. Blake, this is Emerald, I hired her a few weeks back for some manpower."
The girl, Emerald stared at her shocked face before grinning as if realizing something, slinging her hands around Rin's neck.
"Name's Emerald, nice to meet'ya!"
T-This woman... She dared to...
She just saw white, and was about to growl at the physical contact that this bitch was —
"Fuuu..."
Breath, Blake. This was fine, she still had the months of advantage against this bitch.
"... Blake, nice to meet you too."
She said with a straining smile as Emerald's grin widened.

Emerald Sustrai's POV
AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
She was so close to Rin's face! Oh, why did she even do that?!
If it weren't for the fact that her Semblance was masking her face, they wouldn't have seen her blushing mess of a face!
For the love of Oum, she doesn't even talk like that!
But the cat bitch is back, so she had to lay her grounds! She thinks she can get alone time with Rin? Well, fuck no! She already has the fucking Invincible Girl as competition, she doesn't need another one!
But Rin's neck was really smooth, she wondered what products does he use since they use the same damn soap.

Pyrrha Nikos' POV
The shock when she realized that there was another one gunning for Rin made her almost smash that smirk down from the woman, but she held back. Rin would not like a harsh and short-tempered girl, calm down, Pyrrha.
She even took her 2-day holiday break to visit Leblanc at night, sneaking out of her team's sight.
She knew that he would always be open until 8, and that no one would normally come at such an hour, but darn this woman! And her clothes! T-This woman is showing so much skin!
It made her growl out loud before she stopped herself, she was totally seducing her Rin using unethical tactics!
"We still have quite the curry left, you want some?"
Rin who was at the back of the kitchen asked loudly, prompting a "Yes, please!" from Pyrrha. His curry! It's been so long, she almost forgot how much it tasted like!
"Oh, is it dinner already? Rin, two bowls of rice!"
Emerald who was upstairs in Leblanc's attic (She'd never been up there before since it was employee only! This was not fair!) yelled out before she came down quickly, with Pyrrha thankful that Rin was away since she could clearly see her chest bouncing from the rapid descent.
But in her mind, she wasn't threatened at all, since she had a bigger chest from what she'd seen! Ha! Take that, woman!
Rin, who had finally prepared their food walked to the table with a tray, placing down the iconic curry that made her nose tingle in delight. It smelled heavenly!
Emerald sat down opposite of her with a grin before taking a good bite of both curry and rice.
Rin after a while comes back with his own plate, with a plate of white bread.
"Itadakimasu."
He mutters with a praying gesture before taking a scoop of curry. He delicately takes a bite.
"Mhmm... Oh, this is good..."
He said, smirking at the amazing taste that he created before shoving another spoonful, he chewed as he nods with satisfaction.
"Yeah, knew that coffee was a good activator, damn I'm good."
...
That was another reason why she wanted to eat dinner with him.
Rin loved food.
He was a foodie, loving every type of food.
And the low grunts he makes whenever eating good food?
Oum, have mercy on her soul, for she had sinned from her bad thoughts. And glancing next to the other girls, they had the same look as her. Ah, they were women of culture, as expected from her rivals.
He sounds so hot.
