Chapter 83: RWBY: Grimm Eclipse (2)

Chapter 83: RWBY: Grimm Eclipse (2)

~Jack POV~

"Alright!"

Raising my fist up in the air while inside an empty void that is my <Image Training> it was finally time for me to grind out as much as I can today.

Today is the day I finally grind the hell out of the enemies inside my <Image Training> today while I can finally get some skills.

Checking out my options of opponents I smirked seeing my options have risen up because I looked into some Huntsman for the last past few days in our break during the week.

Also, I visited the Hunter Guild to get more options for opponents of my choice as I was extremely happy since Glynda decided to teach us more about how Huntsman and Huntress operate in Hunter Guilds.

She also even let us meet a few Huntsman and Huntresses from the Hunter Guild which allowed me to open up some more opponents from me to choose from.

Like stealing candy from a baby or a great view of games in stores just waiting to be taken,

Of course, I couldn't take some of them, but I also paid a small visit to the Huntsman and Huntresses graveyard for those that have fallen in the lines of duty. It was to see if I can fight any dead members in my <Image Training> and to my shock, it worked.

Apparently, that also counts for me meeting them despite being dead as meeting them in a graveyard count.

Which left me to search up some past Huntsman and their Semblances that I wanted to get in the near future, but I wanted to see how strong they were compared to the now.

Honestly, though, I was a bit surprised to see this guy in Vale Hunter Graveyard although it might be due to the fact that he lived in Vale originally I'm not complaining about this though.

Glancing at the name of my enemy or my choice I began to choose him for a test sample for me to do.

[Ding!]

[You have chosen Rhodes Steel]

*Shiiii*

Soon enough an exact appearance of the Huntsman of my choice soon appeared showing data bits materializing in front of me inactive since it was the same guy that train Cinder.

Rhodes is a tall, dark-skinned man with dark, greying hair and brown eyes. He wears a Prussian blue shirt which is covered by bronze and navy-blue vest, alongside straps over his chest and arms. Rhodes' left shoulder is covered by a bronze pauldron.

Judging by his years over time, he has received a scar on his right: a slash mark on his face.

<Observe>.

WIS: 80

LUCK: 1

---

Yeah… I figured they were strong.

So, an old Huntsman like him counts as being level 125 or more and his STR is ridiculous with that alone he was probably able to beat Cinder, but he did take pity on her landing a final blow, and maybe his Aura was down during the fight.

<Fusion>.

[Ding!]

[Notice the target is higher level than the player!]

[Modifying the conditions…]

[-Fusion Conditions-

Description: Rhodes was a Huntsman and also a mentor that helped trained a young Cinder Fall during her childhood and was later killed by her after attempting to detain her. You must be able to defeat Rhodes Steel while being at a lower level.]

Nodding at this I began to get my weapons out but before I fight Rhodes though…

<Shadow Clone>.

*Poof*

*Poof*

*Poof*

*Poof*

Summoning up to four of my Clones each having their own weapons with me having about wasted 2000 AP to summon them out leaving me with the good old fashion of 1200 remaining as I activated my buffs.

Including <Sword Mastery> and <Gun Mastery> I'm can be very scary to face in a one vs one fight but considering the guy, I'm facing is really strong I think I have the right to cheese this right?

With my clones, I can better start grinding against hordes of Grimm in the future since I'm trying to increase my level to 35 to finally reach that magic requirement.

Just to be extra sure about time I finally increase my STR to 100 reaching the peak I can have in my physical strength.

Status.

[Ding!]

[Your STR stat has reached a 100-point mark!]

[Passive Skill <Pump Up> has been added!]

Blinking at this new skill what does this one do exactly?

Skill list.

-----

<Pump Up> (Passive) Lv. MAX

Description: This passive skill can be unlocked once reached 100 stats in STR. This passive skill grants the user to passively increase their STR by 15% during a battle along with party members as well.

-----

Whistle…~

Now, this sounds like a skill that can be really handy and it passively increases my STR only while I'm in battle but also for my party members in the process huh?

Neat.

Readying myself for battle activating the stack skills I breathed in calmly as we all rush to attack Rhodes with no hesitation whatsoever!

*Woosh*

We all rushed in and in the process see Rhodes unleash his weapons activated them turning into twin maces at us.

*Bang*

*Bang*

Moving away from him his weapons launched some kind of fireball attack at us as we saw his weapon ignited in our direction before he could do anything.

Twirling to the side avoiding the fire blast we all saw that Rhodes began to change into metal skin like that guy from X-Men or Steel guy from MHA while all my clones began to amp up our skills rushing him.

Now is about the right time to use a full count against this guy.

<Polarity>!

*Shiii*

Black color aura soon surrounded the former Huntsman as all my clones and myself including him control his body parts since he was the one that turned all full metal on me.

Shame I have a counter to him and I plan to abuse this.

*Shiii*

"Ahhhh!"

Rhodes screamed in pain as we all bend his limbs in off directions trying to break him like a KitKat bar that is covered in metal skin.

*CRACK*

One of his arms was bent the wrong way showing a bone sticking out but soon enough he changed back gripping his arm tightly as blood was shown from him as he growls at me holding his one mace in hand.

Blood began to drip from Rhode's body as I bit down the tip of my thumb drawing blood and testing out the limits of my <Water Attraction> since I need water for it to work, "Alright then. The first test to use this skill."

*Splash*

Soon enough the blood I drew from my thumb began to move out of my body just enough to form a ball of blood of my own while smirking at this I pointed the ball of Blood from me towards Rhodes's direction.

Using only a little bit of it to form a small droplet of blood using Neptune Semblance I began to focus on Rhodes as he charges at me.

*Woosh*

Avoiding the attack with his mace weapon my clones sprung to action rushing towards him while some are using <Telekinesis>, <Glyphs>, <Aura Trapping>, and <Aura Ball> attacking him with everything they had.

Having clones to beat-up high-level bosses like him surely makes this all worth it.

Bang.

*PEW*

[<Water Attraction> LEVEL UP!]

A small loud sonic boom sound was heard when I focused on launching the small droplets of blood, I created forming the ball of blood and I saw the damage is very high enough that it forced Rhodes back.

Even if it was only for a little bit on his AP bar.

Time to chip that away I go.

*PEW*

[<Water Attraction> LEVEL UP!]

Time to continue firing this while my Clones use <Glyphs> to bind him in places forcing him down while I simply practice my firing of blood bullets.

*PEW*

[<Water Attraction> LEVEL UP!]

*PEW*

[<Water Attraction> LEVEL UP!]

*PEW*

[<Water Attraction> LEVEL UP!]

I know this kind of tactic won't work in the real world if the enemy has numbers but if it's against a stronger foe by themselves then that changes things for me, especially with my <Image Training> letting me control what kind of enemies I get to face during the night.

Shame I only get to train really 8 hours a day at night sleeping in my <Image Training> before waking up again for classes.

But this is different now that I'm on break I can do this as many times as I want. Also, I managed to ask Glynda to pull some strings for me for the favor of getting me a pet from the Hunter Guild since they have been bred and trained to fight Grimm and also because of the guilt of failing to protect me.

Still, only in this environment, I can really train to what I want at ease without anyone bothering me about it in a safe environment like this.

A/N: Does anyone want to guess what the MC party member's pet will be and what the pet Semblance is going to be? Comment here or on the chapter comments to tell me.
