Nick Rose

Originally, a Young child that appeared out of nowhere in the middle of the slumps of a futuristic floating citadel, only to find himself saving the life of two girls that he only recognized after taking a moment to look at them properly.

It was a show that he only knew about, he had never seen it beyond the first 3 short chapters, or more like shorts, but it doesn´t matter at this point.

For some reason that he doesn´t know, but he was here, he doesn´t remember the past, but that doesn´t matter, in his words "The fuck would I care for something like that, not like I can go back or remember it anyways, so might as well go through with my current life"

And so he followed through, getting adopted by the Rose/Xiao Long family, living his new life in a warm family, learning, training, improving, all to try and become a hunter… or that was supposed to be but.

<NICK> There is a FUCKING FLYING CITY, FOR FUCKS SAKE, THERE IS EVEN SOMETHING LIKE MAGIC AND TRANSFORMING WEAPONS, HOW IN THE FUCK WOULD I NOT LEARN SOMETHING SO AMAZING, AND I GET THE RIGHT TO USE IT AGAINST MONSTERS, AND GET MONEY FROM IT, AND, more importantly, GET MONEY FROM IT

So… yeah, this is Nick, a family man with the desire to learn and improve… and to get money, but more importantly, he is a man true to himself, something that he will never attempt to change, as he himself says "I will never attempt to lie about myself just for approval of others, if they have a problem, then they can Fuck Off for all I care, after all, Lying is an offense to myself, and lying about myself is an even worse offense"

This mentality didn´t gain him many, if any, friends, the only ones that truly accepted him after breaking from his weird, and in his words "Bitchy", shell, were his new family, and as such, he will help them, provide for them… and if anyone want to try something funny, all they will gain is getting penetrated by earth spikes from the ground, for sure.

It was a new day.

One day has passed since the encounter between the younger children of the family and the top authorities from Beacon Academy.

Right now three figures are currently at the front of the house, an older man with blond hair and tan skin, Tai Xiao Long, and in front of them are two of his children, Nick who is sweating while trying to catch his breath while looking in front of him, while the other figure is on the ground, breathing heavily while on the ground, a woman with a incredibly gifted body and wild blond hai, the oldest of Tais Childrens, Yang Xiao Long.

<TAI> Come on, Yang, how many times have I said that you need to keep control, your semblance is part of you, but it should never take control of you.

Tai was admonishing Yang due to the results of the sparring.

Since the moment Nick became part of the family, he has participated in different trainings in order to become stronger, be it for money, discoveries or simply to become a Hunter… or for all of them, but he was skilled, like REALLY skilled, every move that Tai or any teacher showed him, he could do it, every skill or knowledge that was taught to him was absorbed an implemented perfectly, but even so, his family, specially his sisters, just felt proud of him, making him feel really good about it… but that is not the reason for the admonish.

Yang´s Semblance is called "Burn", a semblance that lets her absorb kinetic force and use it to deal double the force that was applied to her as damage, and when its used, her eyes turn red and her hair starts to shine and wave like fire, but there is another issue with it, her anger.

For some reason, possibly psychological, Yang tends to get in a bad mood, to say the least, when she is about to use her semblance, getting easily riled up and doing movements that, while possible deadly, they are easily predictable, and could be even used against her.

<YANG> Haa haa haaaa~ How many times, haa, does this count?

<NICK> This week? 72 – 0, of course whit me winning~

<YANG> AAAGH~! DAMN!

As if waiting for her turn, a red burst comes out of nowhere, carrying a jar, the swear jar number 7

<RUBY> To the swear jar~

<YANG> I KNOW RUBY!

Yang took a coin and put it inside the jar, and with her work done, she flies right back to the house "I swear, she must have some cams on us, it was the same back on signal, how in the world those she knows when I swear when I am two buildings away from her class!?" that was a mystery that has remain hidden until this day… or that's what Nick wants to think about it.

<YANG> ugh, I don´t know little Bro, but she´s able to do the same when I am training tin the forest, and I am sure she doesn´t have something so sophisticated… and if she had it, there is no need to use it for something so stupid

<TAI> Ok, we can leave Ruby´s dedication to the swear jar latter, lets focus in the main point, you Yang.

<YANG> Ugh…

As said before, Yang has a severe case of angry-facet, and this is her weakness, now by no means Yang is weak, no, she graduated from Signal as one of the bests getting a recommendation to join Beacon, and here is the reason for everything.

"Burn", without truly doing anything, makes her angry and wild, and for this reason, Tai make Nick and Yang to spar, since the moment that they first started sparring, Yang has been unable to defeat him eve once, frustrating him, and it doesn´t help that the way he fights is by changing the course of the opponents attack, in other words, he plays with his opponent, any fist going to his body or face have their direction changed by the fluid movements of his hands and arms, even going as far as throwing the opponent whit their own force.

Nick Called this Aikido, a masterfully polished martial art that doesn´t rely so much on strength but in skill… and this kind of fighting style is just perfect to make a wild fighter like Yang livid… and it had worked many times~

<NICK> Now my beautiful big sister, I had expected you to learn your lesson by the 20th time that I slammed you to the ground you know~

<YANG> But you see, my handsome little brother, I really like when we do this as I can do what I like the most with you~

"…Are you a masochist Yang?" does words said with the utmost seriousness possible, throwing Yang out of her pace "What!? NO! How did it come to that!?"

<NICK> Well if it's not because I throw you around… is it because I'm your little brother?... Yang are you a shotacon?

<YANG> NO! THE HELL ARE TALKING ABOUT, AND BESIDES, WHAT ABOUT YOU SEEMS LIKE LITTLE, EVEN YOUR LITTLE MAN IS UNESESARLY BUIG?

"…" silence flooded the front jar, until Nick spoke again "…Yang, how do you know that? Don´t tell me… Are you a peeking pervert!!?"

<YANG> NO! CAN YOU SHUT UP AND LISTEN-

"Sorry Yang I love you as my sister but that kind of behavior really disappoints me why would you go so far for your perversions when you can just use your scroll to relive your se- HUMPH!!?" Yang just covered his mouth with her arm and started trying to strangle him "Ok, smart guy, you better shut up NOW!!"

<TAI> Pfff- *cough* ok, that´s enough you two

"He started!" was what Yang said, but she couldn´t hear any reply from her brother who was eating a chocolate bar (Something like snickers) and redacted with a shocked face "What~! Me~! Dear Sister, you know that is not possible for me to do something so low~"

<YANG> You are insufferable sometimes you know?

<NICK> Thank you~ I love you as well~

No one knows when he released himself from Yang´s grasp, not that asking will give them a better answer "*Sigh*… Ok children, go take a bath"

<YAANG/NICK> OK~

After a refreshing and really deserved bath, the family was all together in the living room, the kid watching TV while Tai was preparing some food.

All of them wearing casual clothes, Nick with a simple oversized white t-shirt and yellow pants, Yang and Ruby wearing the same type of shirt but Yang was wearing yellow hotpants and Ruby was wearing red shorts "Can I ask you two why do you keep wearing my shirts? and also, where is my new hoodie"

<RUBY> Well, your shirts are really comfy you know~

<YANG> And besides, that thing that you call hoodie was returned to the store

"WHY! THAT WAS THE BEST HOODIE OF THE STORE" The shock in his face was genuine, she dared to just take his hoodie back to the store, and he bought it yesterday! "Of course, I would return it, that thing was trash no matter how you saw it!"

<YANG> Tell me who would wear a neon green hoodie with a neon red skull on the front and yellow neon wings on the back!!

<NICK> It wasn´t so bad…

<YANG> You were going to where that with an orange cargo pants!

"Oh you are mistaken there father, everyone else´s sense suck, mine is just to perfect~" Said Nick with a smug face, while his family could only see him like he was some sort of retard.

So, yeah, Nick might be skilled, talented and knowledgeable about many things, but there is one thing where he fails, Fashion.

Back when he was 5, the family was going to a party, and he decided to go later than the rest… wearing a bird cap, a chocolate shirt with an orange jacket and purple jeans, the moment his family saw this they just took him out of there and changed his clothe to something normal, while Nick was making a frown face, quite cute in the eyes of the housewives present.

After that, Yang made a deal with him where both will try some clothes, and the winner will decided the wardrobe of the other for as long as Tai deemed necessary… it was the only time Yang won against him, the judges where a group of Ruby and Yang´s friends, it was a crushing defeat, the poor children where seriously traumatized by Nicks fashion, to a point that I think two of them developed a psychological form of epilepsy… if that is even possible.

Tai Went to them with some snack for everyone while enjoying watching TV.

<TAI> ….? Oh, it arrived after all

Tai got up and checked something in his scroll "Ok children the permits and documentation for Ruby and Nick arrived, I just send it to your scrolls, keep that with you as it's the only way for you to go to Beacon" Nick and Ruby checked their scroll, and there was the documentation, a recommendation for early graduation from signal, already approved and a permit access for beacon bullhead "Yes, we are really going to Beacon Nicky!"

<NICK> Well, this was obvious, after what you showed

<RUBY> But I was thinking that it was some sort dream or mistake you know?

"I´m so proud of you two~ my baby brother and sister are coming to beacon as well~" Yang captured both of them in a hug before they could even try to scape "While I still think that its still to early for you two, the skills and abilities that you have developed are more than enough for the current beacon"

<TAI> Ok, start packing kids, we need to go to buy some things in the city

The day came and the three siblings boarded the ship, of course yesterday was quite the hectic day, especially the part when Nick tried to pack a [READING SCRIPT AGAIN, JUST TO BE SURE… WTF?] a "puke-colored" shirt [THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THIS GUY!?] just to be taken by surprised by Tai and Yang that started to check his bags, and take out anything that fits the description of "Weird" … of course that being a mayor understatement.

And now, in the bullhead, there is Ruby as exited that she can be, Yang looking around to see if she can find her friends, and Nick… who right now has his long white hair covering his face while sulking in the corner of the ship.

<NICK> *Sulking sfx*

<YANG> Do you really have to play Sulking sounds in the scroll?

<NICK> Did you really expect me to do some sulking sounds Elder Big Sister, please I am better than that

All of this said while looking at the side with a pout in his face

<YANG/RUBY> ´He is sulking for the clothes all right~´

That is another thing that Nick does, if he gets annoyed, mad or starts to sulk because of his sisters, he will start to call them Elder Big Sister and Younger Big Sister, why? Don´t know, go ask him instead.

<RUBY> Come on Nicky, its not so bad, besides you look really good with your current getup, we almost match as well~

<NICK> …

Nick currently is wearing clothes in black color, jeans, a black t-shirt and a long jacket with a hood, for accessories he is wearing a collar, or more like a black chocker and special designed gloves to prevent his semblance from activating by accident

<NICK> … I look like a goth…

<RUBY> …Don´t you like matching with me…?

"THERE IT IS FOOLKS, RUBY GOES IN THE OFFENSIVE WITH HER GREATEST SKILL, SAD PUPPY EYES, WILL IT BE ENOUGH TO TAKE NICK OUT OF THE FIGHT!?" Said Yang in her head as this is a routine that the have repeated many times already

<NICK> …Not really… I like matching with Younger Big Sister…

<RUBY> Good~

"And the winner is RUBY ROSEEEEEE!!" Said Yang in her head while smiling at her siblings' interactions, but the warm atmosphere was interrupted… by a puking noise

<BLOND HAIR BOY> BLUURRGG!

A blond guy was puking into a bag, and that was disgusting alright

<YANG> Well, that is a way to break the ice I thing…

<NICK> Yeah, but Yang I would recommend getting a bit farther from him, a bit o puke almost touched your boots.

<YANG> What!? Ew, ew, ew, ew!!
