Prologue

Third Person View:

Welcome to Ruby's Pizzeria, where animatronics come to life. Enjoy your stay and I hope you have a wonderful time here. We have Jack here a newly employed nightguard on the job that came here to check the place out before he starts actually working.

current year (2025)

Jack's POV:

As I was making my way to the pizzeria establishment, there was traffic blocking my way, so I had to wait patiently until the traffic went away. Once the traffic disperse I made it to the pizzeria, when I arrived, there was kids everywhere. Many animatronics as well, some even off their stage! Some of these robots creep me out, especially that black bunny, its just staring at me for some reason.

I made my way to my bosses office, when I got there my boss was just sitting in his chair doing paperwork. I close the door, and that got his attention as he look up from his paperwork, and said "Your the new nightguard I presume?

"Yes, that's me."

"Jack right, well anyways being a nightguard isn't a easy task as you gotta make sure that no one gets in here, or anything leaves this establishment, got that clear." Said my boss.

"Understood, doesn't sound too hard, so when do I start?"

"You start first thing tonight don't be late."

"Understood."

I left the office, and went out and explored the pizzeria. I noticed that there were a lot and when I mean I meant A LOT of animatronics, just looking around I counted a total of 10 animatronics, plus I saw a parts and service room so there could be more in there. the weird thing is, the animatronic seem sentience? like they talk normally to each other, the boss just says it because of there advance AI, but I can't help but be nervous.

Since I still have a lot of time on my hand I decided to hold a conversation with these animatronics, I feel like they could hold a proper one. I went to the one that was staring at me earlier and see if I can start a conversation with it.

As I walked up to the animatronic it looked at me and smiled? "Hello there, I'm Ruby, Ruby the rabbit!"

"Hello there Ruby, my name is Jack, its a pleasure meeting you."

"You must be new here, I never seen you around here before, what brings you here to the establishment?"

(huh she really is sentient) "I'm the new nightguard that works here, so you will be seeing me more often."

"Really! Your going to be our first nightguard here then, this place was constructed not to recently of course."

"Huh that's news to me.."

Third person view:

As Jack was finishing his talk with Ruby, he went around and began conversing with the other animatronics. After he was done talking with them, he decided to call it a day and left the pizzeria, until he had to come back later to begin his nightshift.

Ruby's POV:

As the new nightguard left, I went back to entertaining the kids. As I was entertaining the kids, A white wolf came up to me. "Who were you talking to Ruby?"

"Oh hey Wesker, I was talking to the new nightguard that applied today!"

"We have a nightguard now? I see, well thanks for informing me. I'll go and tell the others."

I waved goodbye to Wesker as he began to walk away and talk to the other animatronics. The kids started to gather around me, and I was now stuck. After getting the kids away from me, I went to where Claude and Mia was and started a conversation with them.

"Hey Ruby, what are you doing here?" Says the blue mouse

"Yeah, What brings you here?" Says the orange cat

"Hey Mia, hey Claude, how are you two doing?"

"Were doing great, besides the kids roaming around, and trying to pull our tails.. were doing fine." said Mia.

"Yeah everything going swell. how are you?" Said Claude.

"I'm doing great, I found out that we have a nightguard now!"

"WE, DO!!" Both Claude and Mia exclaimed.

(clock ticking)

"Yea- OH NO its almost closing time we gotta get back to our spots before the day ends!!"

"Your right we shall talk later Ruby, see ya later." Waves Claude

Third person view:

As the night hits the pizzeria, Jack comes back to the pizzeria to begins his nightshift.

hey guys first time writing a story i hope you enjoy this prologue and tell me how you thought of this story. I will try to release longer chapters but I wanted to try this out and see how it goes.
